I stopped on a whim for a breakfast sandwich and was pleased to see all of the choices and sizes. I ordered the Midtown, which is avocado, cream cheese, black olives, and tomatoes– add between 1 – 3 eggs. I love that they fry up the egg right there and then assemble it before toasting it up nice and crispy. Sad to see the poor reviews, because I found the staff friendly and quick. The store was small and appeared older and dated but clean enough. I’ll definitely be back and try more on the extensive menu.

The Deli Zone on Baseline is a regular stop for me for both breakfast and lunch. The sandwiches are all top notch and the menu is large enough to satisfy everyone. My favorites are the Giuliani, the cold Italian Hero, the Kong(bfast) and any of the two egg with meat breakfast sandwiches. The owner(I don’t recall his name) always greets me with a smile and has some pretty good stories to tell if it’s not too busy.

Today was my first and last visit to the Deli Zone chain. I asked for a cheese sandwich with pickles and tomatoes. Oh you want a custom sandwich – the man behind the counter exclaimed. No Meat?! Yes – no meat. Just cheese and veggies. I also ordered a small bag of chips with my cheese sandwich. $ 12 the man told me. I said – $ 12, that’s a steep price for a cheese sandwich. The counterperson told me – Eat home, cheaper. That’s an odd way to talk to a customer, I thought. But – I took his advice and told him no thanks on the $ 12 cheese sandwich.

Visited a while back, will never return. I was called up to receive my sandwich, after I took it and started eating it I was screamed at from across the restaurant by one of the workers calling me a «fucking douchebag» and such because I apparently took the wrong sandwich. I talked to the other customer and offered to pay the difference, he did not mind and understood my mistake. The woman continued to yell at me as I left the store. When I went online to explain my shock to the company, I was flamed by one of the other employees on their Facebook page. I have never been treated so poorly in a store in my life. Oh, and my food wasn’t even that great. L

I got the New Yorker, was gonna order a Rueben. It was very“chewy” and I was bloated and a bit queasy after the whole experience. I will not go back

While the sandwiches are AMAZING, the customer service at this location blows. I asked them to deliver around 9am but was told they cant deliver until 10. No big deal, so I ordered three sandwiches for pick-up and replaced the sausage with bacon on all of them. After picking up my order and coming back to the office, only to realize that they had put chicken on all the sandwiches instead, I called to let them know what had happened. The manager literally YELLED at me that I had said chicken, and that this was my fault. He said I’d have to come back for a refund but that’s all he could do. I asked if it was possible to deliver the sandwiches I ordered since it was now around 9:45, and insisted that he would not deliver to me, regardless of time and that I was wrong. Overall, I’m really saddened by the experience, because I really love the sandwiches. I just won’t be seeing this location anymore…

The F-Train is da-bomb. Your basic Philly loaded with lettuce, tomato and mayo and then drenched in Frank’s Hot Sauce. OMG, this thing is delicious. Great sandwich that keeps me going back.

Deli Zone on Baseline and Foothills deserves a shout out. I am strongly biased towards New Jersey/New York sandwiches and have a hard time giving props to sandwiches out here. That is not to say that Deli Sandwiches can be compared to East Coast sandwiches. They are, in there on right, tasty sandwiches though. The staff is very friendly as well.

I love this place. It took me forever to try it because the name and the logo are so dated and boring, but it’s become my go-to place when I’m in Boulder and in a sandwich mood. I was stoked when I saw that they had a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich(simple and fantastic, by the way). But my absolute favorite is the Penn Station. It sounds weird(grilled chicken and salami), but it’s the perfect sandwich for me. The menu is so varied — from boring old turkey sub to some combinations that seem wacky — that everyone will find something they love. Sometimes they’re a little slow, but I’ve found that can be remedied if you order online before you go there. My tip is to order from the Hot Zone instead of the Cool Zone.

I got a 5″ sub and it was okay. Not great by any stretch. The tables were all dirty, crummy and the trashcans were overflowing. The sandwich was a bit over $ 5 with no chips. My stomach was kind of upset afterwards. The counter people were nice(not overly nice), but I won’t be back.

I really want to love Deli Zone, because occasionally I have a great experience there, but I’m about done trying. There was no one in line when I just went in for a sandwich with my sister. It took the(not just stoned but VERY stoned) guy behind the register 5 minutes to ring us up, and another 10 minutes before they realized they were out of sprouts. Both of our sandwiches had sprouts(which is why we like them). They asked my sister if she would like lettuce substituted on her sandwich and she said no, while I was never asked. Nevertheless, they gave us both what were basically lettuce sandwiches. I ordered the hummus sandwich and it is NOT a good combination; it is missing what is normally the primary ingredient. I don’t have a problem with people smoking pot, but these guys are so high that they can’t even speak in complete sentences. I just paid 19 bucks for 2 sandwiches that were NOT what I ordered and it took them 20 minutes to make them(cold sandwiches, no line). I am done with Deli Zone.

Eh, it’s okay. The only reason I frequent it is that it is so near my house. The guys behind the counter tend to close early, so don’t try to run in right before closing. I once had the eggplant Parmesan sub and the eggplant was still partially frozen. Most everything else I’ve tried has been good, but not great. Snarfs is a much tastier option.

Great place, and I’m there way too much. Best subs in the area, not too expensive, have good corned beef and pastromi. The New Yorker is amazing.

I’ll admit up front I have no idea how the sandwiches are. I’ve only had an egg salad sandwich from there, which hardly varies from one deli to the other. However, after watching the glove-clad employee take my cash, give me my change, and turn around and make my sandwich without changing his gloves, I don’t think I’ll go back. Sure, he was young and probably utterly unconcerned with the health of a random stranger, but I would at least expect the manager sitting nearby to make sure there aren’t any glaring health food violations. As I walked out, he started changing the receipt roll in the register – with the same gloves. I pity the next person to come through the door.

Deli Zone has the best sub sandwiches I have had in decades. I was amazed to discover that for about the price of a Subway or Quiznos sub, I could get a truly awesome sub from Deli Zone — only bigger, meatier, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I was surprised to learn Deli Zone was a chain — it has the feel, and the food, of a family business that cares about making a great sandwich. I usually order the Godfather — Roast beef and bacon — delicious bacon. The South Bronx(turkey, avocado), is pretty damn good also. All the sandwiches here are pure greed-a-licious, and they actually do a pretty mean red potato salad.
