I would highly recommend this place. Their food is surprisingly good for what i was expecting. Their steak is something everybody should try when going there.

My favorite place to go for Mexican food! They have the best Tamales and Chili Rellenos. Service is always a 10! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We’ve always drove by this place, but today we had lunch ‘to try something new’. Now this is our new favorite restaurant. The service was personal, good and friendly, without being intrusive. Well presented food, tasty and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. Value for money!

There was a lady with a dog outside the restaurant. The dog was hideous and ugly. 3 stars

Yum! Parking: Strip mall parking, lots available Ambiance: Typical Mexican restaurant décor — bright colors, booths Service: The best imaginable — they are SOOOOOO nice and friendly here — they really make you feel at home! Food: They refilled our warm chips and yummy salsa and slaw several times. I could have just kept eating and eating… Large entrée portions, LOVED the Pollo Chipotle — amazing flavor and had enough left overs for 2 other meals! Hubby had the lamb, I tried a bit, it was okay, I liked the chicken much better. My son had the nachos — $ 1.25 kids meat nachos on Saturdays — I was amazed at the price — it would cost $ 5 anywhere else! Recommendation: I can’t wait to go back! You should too!

The Chile Colorado is to die for. Love the owners and wait staff. Super friendly people and meals have a very home cooked feel.

So so good! Had the arroz con pollo and it was delicious and huge! I also got a large draft beer. It was the largest I ever seen. Love this place.

Unfortunately I am a little disappointed after my visit here a few days ago. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary but nothing to complain about. On the other hand, the server was alternately friendly and then rude. Maybe she was angry because we arrived just 20 minutes before closing but I don’t appreciate being treated that way at all. Beware.

Best Carne Asada I’ve ever had. Wish I had their broiler at my home! Also, the service is as efficient as it gets.

Semi-Authentic. Carne Asada was burnt. Pollo Ala Crème was soupy. Chicken was way over done. Highlight of the meal was the Pico de gallo and the margarita. Wait staff was rushed. Had to repeat my order several times. Overall not a bad experience but not a good one either. Honestly, the food truck I ate at last week was better(see previous review). $ 56 for two drinks dinner and dessert. So not crazy high but after getting not so great food … I wasn’t thrilled with the price of the bill.

This is our favorite Mexico restaurant. Close to home and the food is really good. We are regulars so they pretty much know what we want when walk through the doors. Always friendly.

Who else is enjoying the sun in Washington? I know I am – and I’m taking advantage of it because you never really know what the weather will be like next week. That being said, my friend and I decided to have our post-gym-meal outdoor! The outdoor seating was perfect, but they only have a few tables. The service was also great, because they didn’t forget us(like in some restaurants I’ve gone to in the past) and asked every half hour(or so) if we were still doing okay. For dinner, I ordered the Carne Asada combo. With Chile Relleno. Now I don’t know about you, but I LOVECHEESE and a little spice. The Chile Relleno was made so perfectly tender – which made my Carne Asada so much more enjoyable – I don’t even remember chewing! As for the drink, I decided to go with a Virgin Mango Margarita – yes, I said Virgin! It didn’t taste like any margarita though; or maybe it’s because I’ve never had a real mango margarita(with alcohol) so I don’t really know what to compare it to. I was also looking for a salted rim, but instead was served with whipped cream on top. Nonetheless, the service was awesome and my meal was SUPERTASTY! Splurging on this after working out was DEFINITELY not a regret!

Holy cow, this place is delicious! Service is incredibly friendly and quick. The place was crowded when we stopped by. We both got platters and I had a peach margarita which was out of this world. Very tasty, filling and well priced.

I came here for lunch with my MIL on our quest for moderately priced and good Mexican food. The servers greeted us warmly when we entered and sat us at a table near the bar. The place is split with booths on one side and tables with chairs on the other. Our server brought us fresh salsa, warm chips, and a saucer of curtido-type slaw which was excellent. We asked for seconds right away. Their lunch menu is served from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and all their combination plates come with rice and your choice of beans(refried, pinto, or black). My lunch portion of beef fajitas was $ 12 and was enough for two meals. I wasn’t a fan of the pinto beans so she brought me a portion of the refried beans which were excellent. My MIL enjoyed her enchiladas, rice, and beans. They are farther than I’d usually go for lunch but I’d hit them up again if I was nearby.

The Rice and Beans here are seriously out of this world. So perfectly creamy, salty and satisfying I could sit and eat them non stop. Their chips and salsa are also good enough to make a meal out of. In fact that is what I suggest. Chips, Salsa, Rice and Beans. There entrée’s are strictly Ameri-Mex and aren’t particularly stunning. The Chili Colorado was dry and so was my enchilada. But if you stick to the sides you could actually walk out very satisfied.

Who’d of thought that good Mexican food would be almost overly abundant in the wild lands of Bothell and Kenmore?! Viva Jalisco may look like another stereotypical Gringo Mexican joint at first– multicolored walls, Corona neon signs in the window, and other indoor décor similar to Azteca, but the ladies waiting tables and the cooks in the back bust out some really fast service and excellent food. Plus, the food itself is fresh, plentiful, and unless you have a spare boot of a stomach, you will be bring home leftovers. I decided to try the Dos Burritos– two almost forearm sized burritos stuffed with chili colorado and chili verde. Chili verde is usually the dish I judge a Mexican restaurant by, especially for freshness, and the verde sauce here was clean and bright, but not overloaded with cilantro. The chili colorado was nice and had a subtle smokiness to it. Their daily special lamb shank was also excellent– I’ve been to only two or three other restaurants that had lamb so tender. Margaritas are made with pre made mix, but to no fault of their own, they seem to go through a lot of them. I will make a point in returning, this restaurant is a little bright spot in Bothell.

This place is homey, cozy and festive. The food is yummy too. We always gauge the place by it’s house salsa and this place doesn’t disappoint. We got the carne asada combo plate and carne asada mojo. They were both huge in portion and flavor. It’s not cheap as our bill came out to $ 50 for two ppl with drinks. Yummerz!
