I went here on a really cold day, and was warmed by the delicious burger and fries. The service is normal restaurant speed. They have plenty of items. The menu was difficult to understand because of so many items, but everything was good

As a Chicagoan, my standard for a good burger is quite high. This is a solid go to as far as price and product are concerned. Get extra house sauce to dunk those fries.

We had the turkey burger and veggie patty. My favorite thing about u burger is that you can customize your burgers. The turkey burger tasted a little salty. But the veg burger was good and I added the fried jalapeños(they give good spice and crunch to the sandwich), guacamole and grilled onions(can’t believe this is an extra cost) and I have to get the russian dressing(thousand island) .And the fries are always crispy. We will be coming back!

I automatically assumed this place would have a veggie burger. The strange thing is how it’s not listed very well on their board menu. Why would you have it as an option under vegetables? Are people ordering it as a topping on their burger or chicken sandwich? The veggie burger should be displayed prominently or have it listed near the salad options. They seem to be doing a good deal of business but I also find it a waste that they put everything in a bag even if you eat it there. Why be so wasteful? The good thing is they do have levelup.

What does the«U» in UBurger stand for? Unremarkable Unfavorable Unpleasant Unsatisfactory Unsightly Underwhelming Unwanted … you get the picture $ 12 for an Unhealthy«Grand Slam» burger that was caked in grease, fries that were Underdone and soggy, and soaked in fryer oil. Sandwiched right inbetween a Burger King & McDonalds, i would have rather eaten at either of those, I would have saved $ 7. +1 star for having Ginger Ale on tap, you need the acid to cut through the grease in these burger pucks. If your Unlucky enough to stop at this slop house, just pretend you’re Unwelcome and turn around and walk out.

Eh. Although it looks a tad fancier, it’s no better really then the other fast-food restaurants in the area. One pro, is usually you don’t have to navigate a network of homeless people on the way to the counter. The burgers are whatever. Basic bun, soggy patties, no real innovative ideas in terms of toppings. The turkey and chicken burgers are better then their red meat cousins but don’t have a «wow» factor. The fry servings skew VERYLARGE. If you want a large, you should probably find a friend to eat it with. Although they have self serve cups for ketchup, the last time I checked they will provide you with packets upon request. They also will put whatever sauces you want in cups for you, if so requested. The biggest draw for me are their salads. They are surprisingly quite good. I recommend the«Greek Salad» with chicken. I put«Greek» in quotation marks because it’s not really a greek salad, it’s a regular salad: iceberg lettuce, large chunks of green peppers, two cherry tomatoes, some feta, maybe a slice of onion and Greek dressing on the side. There are no olives or cucumbers provided, two things I generally associate with a Greek dish. That being said, the salad ingredients are quite fresh, they are heavy handed with the cheese(yay!) and they are willing to put the chicken in a separate container, instead of directly on the salad. The latter maneuver helps protects from what I call«soggy salad syndrome.» Like all fast– food places,. UBurger suffers from lack of lighting which creates a somewhat dingy, depressing vibe. My advice? Order a salad with the chicken on the side, and peace out. Oh, and P. S. their Oreo Milk Shakes are disgustingly delicious. They will do awful things to your intestinal track but boy will they make you happy in the short term.

I have been to UBurger quite a few times since there was a joint near school. My personal favorite is the boomburger because it has fried jalapeños inside, which gives a little extra kick to a pretty average burger. The size of the burgers here is not at all impressive, about ¼ lb patties though they do seem to be more succulent than your average burger joint. The fries here are all made with peanut oil, you can really tell the subtle difference if you have pay attention. The reese shake here is heavenly though very heavy(like most extra delicious shakes), so go ahead and get it if its your cheat day :)

I ordered a salad and it was good, but a bit pricey for what it was. Should have got a burger.

I’ll start off with this: The food was great and all of our orders were correct, however I will never visit this location again, AND I LOVEUBURGER! The lady that took our orders was highly inappropriate. I have a tattoo across my chest that is visible above the collar line of my shirt, that she commented on; telling me she liked it, asking if it hurt et cetera. This entire interaction was perfectly fine, I am used to these types of questions, I have a piece of art on my clavicle and am used to people noticing it so that was not a problem at all, however at the end of our short conversation she said rather loudly in front of our son«just pop a couple of percs before and you’ll be just fine.» My husband and I were absolutely appalled by her comment, there is no need for someone to bring up drugs while serving customers, even if they are tattooed adults, but to bring something like that up in front of a child, to the point where he asked while we were eating what«percs» were. You would think in any type of professional establishment, be it an office, a restaurant, or anything else, this type of behavior would be prohibited. I guess some people simply have no tact.

The cheeseburger was very sub par. It is very similar to a school burger, most likely some kind of soy mix. The question is, «Where’s the beef?» The fries are flavorful– cut from a good potato, but very greasy. So with great disappointment and ten dollars less in my pocket, I vow never to return.

Gross. The burger has that Burger King«charbroiled» taste but is worse than BK. Couldn’t even finish half of that tasteless rubber patty. The fries were soggy and plain. I got my order to go and maybe that was the mistake. Tasty Burger beats this place 100 times over. Mcdonalds is also better.

My husband and I were in Boston for a convention and stayed at the Omni Parker hotel. UBurger was just down the street, so we walked to get some dinner. I was very pleased with the service. I wanted to build my own burger and the server/cashier was a great help. Didn’t make me feel rushed, was very patient, very helpful, and quite friendly. I ended up getting a grilled chicken sandwich with mayo and cheese. My husband got a burger with many fixings. I should have asked for lite mayo, because there was too much on there for my liking. Other than that though, the food was great! My husband really enjoyed it and wanted to go back the next day. The fries are very good as well! Fries done the right way! The seating is limited, although we didn’t have to wait for a seat. We found bar seating.

Whenever we decide to catch a movie downtown at the Loews, we somehow always find ourselves here to grab a bite to eat. 1) close proximity to theater 2) relatively cheap and fast 3) delicious! Maybe not the best burger in town, but I’m always cheerfully eating my burger and fries, drinking my unlimited diet soda fountain drink. Yes, a McDonald’s is also down the street, but the dollar menu is non-existent and I’m pretty sure UBurger is better than MCD’s in taste department. Service is always friendly, old school music playing, pretty spacious. A win/win! Their honey mustard is delicious, btw.

Favorite fast food burger joint in Boston. Big Papi or Boom burger, you are my kryptonite. My mouth is watering as I contemplate those crunchy jalapenos, that chipotle spread, the avocado lovingly splotched on top… mmm. Great fries! They arrive hot and have plenty of crispy crunchy ones. If you’re mildly lactose intolerant(like all humans), the milkshakes will, I repeat, will wreak havoc on your GI system. This is not to say the shakes aren’t delicious. But is it worth it? I’m usually a turkey burger girl, and this place changes it up, with grilled chicken patties instead. Both the chicken and the beef are pretty good, and they cook my patty to order. Thanks folks! Pro-tip: order a side of chipotle sauce for your french fries.

Decent place for something that’s a step above a fast good burger joint. Ordered a double. Patties were decent size. Fries were good and looked like they were just peeled, so that’s a plus. Good atmosphere. Younger crowd appears to be mostly students Good burger. Didn’t leave me wanting more. Could have probably done with a single for less guilt. Negative star for flies. Don’t sit next to the fountain soda machine.

YUMMMM! Hubby spoke great things of UBurger before our arrival to Boston, so I absolutely had to try it while we were there. While UBurger did not have any turkey or veggie options on their menu, they had a range of chicken options. Let me tell you, DEE-LISH-US! We got the Big Papi burger, and I immediately fell in love with the fried jalapenos. Crunch, spice, and everything nice topped on my chicken. With cheese and avocado. U-Mazing. To top our dinner, we also go tthe creamsicle milkshake and an order of french fries. The milkshake tasted just like the ice cream I was accustomed to as a wee lad, and the french fries were crispy and fried to perfection. Overall, I had such an enjoyable experience at UBurger. U would too. I just wish they served turkey, too!

Stopped in to Uburger whilst waiting for the Book of Mormon to start(best musical ever) I ordered myself a Cowboy burger, a Spiro Salad, tasted part of some sort of chicken sandwich, heard about a cool chick, shared some fries, and drank the CRAP out of some Coke Zero. So this is a fast food joint that gives you options. And the patties are ¼ pound — so my sandwich that was loaded with bacon, cheese, and mushrooms still ended up being a relatively human number of calories. Anyway, all the food was solid. No complaints and no hurrahs. I really wanted to get a frappé, but Joseph Smith was about to start singing, so we had to go. It’s a high end fast food joint where you get what you pay for. LOTS of Coke Zero.

Having been to the Beacon St location multiple times, there’s no denying I am a UBurger fan. What I like about this location: It is clean and also more spacious than the other UBurger restaurants. What I don’t like: It can be difficult to read the menu. There is a giant mirror that blocks off part of the burger menu. When I move over to read it, there is another beam that blocks the entire center of the menu. Also, I think this location may be a bit more expensive than the other locations, but don’t quote me on that.
