Porsche Design

…I will confess to being a Porsche owner, and — if you see my sidebar — a snob about these things. (I’m also a sucker for german-​engineered items.) The look of the items in Porsche Design is phenomenal, and it definitely complements the engineering and design ethic behind the Porsche brand.
Having said that, this is definitely less a boutique men’s clothing and accessory store then it is a marketing device for Porsche. (The PD stores — and there are only a few — are operated out of the Porsche advertising budget. A key distinction… kinda like Fox «News» is operated out of Fox’ Entertainment Division… but I digress.) In other words, this store does not have to sell anything… that’s not its purpose. It’s basically a 3D, walk-​around-​and-​gawk billboard for Porsche.
Now, I confess, I do have my eye on the $ 600 aircraft-​metal cigar torch… hmmm…
