The Grilled Onion Cheddar Burger — the long-awaited addition to the Dollar Menu! Stopped by on the Fourth of July to load up prior to the enhanced security fireworks show. Picked up a 20-piece McNuggets as well as five of the onion-enhanced cheeseburger. Honestly, they’re pretty good, if only a bit greasy. Otherwise, this Downtown Crossing location must be so frequented by juvenile flunkies such that management found it necessary to limit visits to 20 minutes. Definitely not one of their flagship stores.

yay McDonald’s… I’m pretty picky at which McDonald’s I’ll eat at. only because I was a store manager years ago so I expect a certain level of quality. And most stores around here do not do that. This does. Location: This McDonald’s is on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing. Squished between a jewelry store and CVS(and across from Milk Street). It doesn’t get any more prime than this. Near the financial district, plus all the DTX shoppers. bizzy bizzy. Store: This store was recently remodeled so it’s in good shape. Still a little rough around the edges since it has so much foot traffic. The store tries to keep the small dining room clean, but they don’t always get out there to clean enough. However, the bathrooms could really use hourly cleaning(Yes they are that dirty from so much use!) Selections: Typical McDonald’s fare. Just about anything you could find at McDonald’s would be served here. Price: OK. On Target with neighboring McDonald’s(Tremont St, Chinatown). Staff: The staff are OK. Not great, but not bad either. I haven’t had any bad interactions with any staff, so I guess that’s a good thing Service: Food was out quick, hot and fresh. The cashier, however, did forget my BBQ sauce for my nuggets. My only real complaint about this McDonald’s are the patrons. It’s downtown, so many fast food places have a tendency to attract the homeless and weirdos. Unfortunately there’s little McDonald’s can do about it(except enforce it’s loitering policy!) Overall, I’ll be back. This McDonald’s in the heart of downtown, and it’s too easy to swing in there while I am shopping in DTX. I’m giving this store four stars.

Well we all know its McDonald’s so no need to comment on the food. Lets just talk about the location. While clean, this location it is often occupied by quite a few homeless. Would not describe the location at family friendly, if the«we buy gold» stores surrounding this place didn’t tip you off.

Fat G. coming in with a review about McDonalds. I really don’t like reviewing chains but every franchise deserves its own recognition, for good or bad. Coming late at night after work, I decided to stop by for a quick snack. The place is small. Come in through the glass doors, and one can find a seating area on the right and left. Further in the back is the place to order. The menu size is standard. Cleanliness was non-existent with dirty tables and trash on the floor. When I ordered my fries, they were only lukewarm. I guess no one was really motivated on that day to work. Recommended for: WiFi, a place to sit down.

I dont know whats worse. the constant barrage of homeless at 6 am or the fact that they cant seem to get my simple oatmeal with the fruit and raisins on the side correct. For probably the 4th time at this location I order oatmeal with the toppings on the side, and for the 4th time when i get back to my office… THEREARENOTOPPINGSINTHEBAG. WTF??? so this time i go back, she looks at the cashier like it was her fault. Mind you the woman looking at the cashier is the SAMEWOMAN I ORDERFROMNORMALLYANDWHOGAVEMETHEOATMEAL!!! I tell them this has happened before. So thinking everything is ok, I make the trip BACK to my office only to open up the oatmeal and its HARDAS A ROCK!!! WHOMESSESUPOATMEAL??? Calling the store and talking to the manager. This is unbelievable. I know its just oatmeal but I mean damn, how hard is it to mess up scooping oatmeal into a bowl and putting the two toppings packets in the bag with it… for this location it must be brain surgery!!!
