Monica is just plain awesome! I have a difficult cat who doesn’t get on well with strangers. But from their first meeting, Monica was able to put him at ease and they’ve been friends ever since. We get an emailed report and photo with every visit and I can honestly say no one but me and Monica would ever send heart emojis in an email about my crazy cat. She is the best, I trust her and her advice implicitly and whole-​heartedly recommend Happy Creatures to anyone looking for an honest, dedicated, loving pet sitter!

Monica is simply the best! She takes such good care of our puppy, Alfie. He is always so happy to see her when we run into her on the street! She is reliable, easy to get in touch with and super flexible with schedule changes and even late night walks if we know we are going to be home late. She always sends an email update, usually with a photo or even a video.

Monica has been visiting my cat for about 18 months now, whenever I go away. She is so sweet and my cat loves her. I am truly sad that I cannot take her with me when we move next month. Irreplaceable!

Monica is the best dog walker my sweet Bean has ever had. She takes such loving care of my girl and is incredibly flexible even with last minute schedule changes. Monica always sends a photo and text update at the end of a walk which is much appreciated. The biggest endorsement is when we run into her on the hill and Bean goes nuts giving her kisses.

Monica has been walking my retriever for the last six months and I can not express how amazing she is. She’s responsive, sends amazing photo updates of their walks and, best of all, my dog loves her. When we see her in the neighborhood he goes nuts with excitement and it certainly makes me feel better about leaving him when I see him so happy and clearly obsessed with Monica. My travel schedule is for work is very unpredictable but Monica always makes it work no matter how last minute. She’s the best!

What a wonderful service. We planned a last minute trip and needed someone to watch our cats for a week. Monica & Happy Creatures came recommended from another pet sitting service who was unavailable.

Monica has been walking our two quirky Italian greyhounds for a year now and I can’t imagine a better person to check on them and walk them when we are at work. I can’t believe I’ve waited this long to make a Unilocal account to review her. She is 100% reliable, easy to get in touch with (email and text), and incredibly responsive. We work nights, weekends, and holidays, and I often don’t have my schedule until a week or two before the start of the month, but Monica is available and flexible to do evening and weekend walks if we need them.
After each walk, she sends me a short email update about the walk, along with pictures. She keeps a close eye on them and will let me know about anything out of the ordinary, like someone’s limping, or someone had diarrhea, etc.
My fiancé was home once when she came by and he said he’s never seen our dogs be so excited about anybody. Since she started walking them, our dogs have become much more socialized (she infrequently will walk them with another dog), well behaved out on walks, and calmer around other dogs (one of my dogs used to freak out and bark when there was another dog on the street). You can tell she is a true animal lover, and you should absolutely hire her!

There is no greater lover of animals!
Monica is simply INCREDIBLE. I was lucky to stumble upon Monica’s website and feel lucky each day for that. Monica is so incredibly warm and loving. She will truly treat your dog or cat as her own.
Monica sends me a picture /​recap of my pup every single outing they have together. When my dog and I are out walking we have often run into her and my dog get GIDDY with excitement once he lays eyes on her.
Monica is reliable, loving, smart, and patient. I can’t say into words just how lovely she is. You would be so lucky to have her in your life. Not a day goes by that I am not thankful for her presence in my dog’s life!

Monica was awesome! We were hesitant on asking a stranger to take care of our rabbit, but we are very glad we did! She was very responsive from the very beginning. We have a geriatric rabbit that needed medications in her eyes. Our rabbit also needed a daily butt bath and to have her cage cleaned. Monica did not hesitate at all. We met her at our place a week before we were going to depart. She was very nice and understood all of our requests. While we were away, Monica took pictures of our rabbit and texted us updated. It was very thoughtful. Monica is very professional and I would highly recommend her. We will definitely be asking her to pet sit our rabbit again.

I got an email from Monica at Happy Creatures. I checked out her website and read other reviews here. Everyone was raving about her! Long story short, they were 100% right! Monica is amazing.
From her initial meeting with my dog and I, Monica made me feel comfortable. As a first time pet mom I was nervous about someone else caring for my little puppy. Monica immediately demonstrated that she knew how to deal with dogs and most importantly that she truly loved for the animals in her care.
Monica is totally reliable. I always know exactly what she and my dog did that day because of the amazing pictures she sends after each walk (I seriously think she could also double as a pet photographer if she wanted. She takes the best pictures!). My favorite part of the work day is getting that email.

Monica is great! We recently adopted a 9 month old kitten and were nervous about leaving her alone for the first time. Monica made sure she received plenty of playtime while we were gone and even taught her a couple of new tricks. The pictures and video updates she sent after each visit let us know that our kitty was most certainly enjoying the time spent with her new friend. After living in Boston for so many years, I’m really sad that I’ve only just found Monica. I’ve used 2 other companies before finding Monica, and have been so disappointed by how totally unprofessional they both were. We have 2 cats, and I always thought that feeding cats was pretty straightforward and hard to mess up, but I was so wrong! Monica treated us with the utmost professionalism, coming to meet me, my husband and our cats before we hired her. She asked a lot of questions, letting me know she was covering all of her bases, and my cats loved her, needless to say. She sent me picture texts almost every day, which made me feel so much better, and she told me she would stay with them for about an hour per visit! She even had us sign release forms in case she had to take them to the vet, which just made me feel so much better. Maybe because she has cats herself, she just seemed to know what they would want, like playtime! Cats are easy, but she went the extra mile which was such a relief to us!

Monica rules, our Akita loves her and she’s so easy to work with! Sometimes I am a crappy client and email her late the night before asking if she can do a walk mid-​Sunday for our little guy. She never backs down, amazing experiences all around! If you can, hire her!!!
