Speedy Septic

Josh (I think?) helped us out quickly and professionally. They took their time, answered every question, and I learned a LOT in the process. They’re not the cheapest to pump out your tank, but after a visit from a company one might say offered affordable prices, I now have a great appreciation for Speedy Septic. The other guy noted a broken clean out port that was under pressure due to the clogged line. He said «septic tank is fine, just glue that port shut so it stops leaking.» (!!!) We ended up needing to have the line jetted by a pro, and I fixed the clean out so it can be used properly in the future.
Their prices are not the cheapest, but they are not crazy either. It’s worth paying a tiny bit extra for the level of knowledge and excellence you can count on from Speedy Septic.

I called around getting quotes for septic pumping for my elderly father’s home. I ended up going with Speedy and made an appointment. I was quoted $ 350 – 400 to pump and then so much a gallon. They came and left. Going through my fathers papers I found that he wrote them a check for over $ 1000.00!!! They had my name as the contact and my phone number and did not call letting me know anything beyond pumping the septic was necessary. So mad! Have a call into the manager, I will update with what the resolution was.

GREAT JOB! Crew responded quickly with locating work and paperwork so we could obtain needed info for deck permit. Give this company a chance to prove they’re working hard on customer service and you won’t be disappointed.

I had Speedy Septic out to pump our septic tank as part of its regular maintenance. In the process, they broke our baffle… as I subsequently learned, you can’t go for very long without a baffle unless you want to ruin your drain field. The guy said the septic tank was too old to install another baffle but they could provide a 1500 gallon plastic tank for $ 7500 but would need half down right away to get the paperwork started. Not happy about this … yes, the septic tank/​baffle was old … so maybe it was impossible not to break it. But, really, my only option was a $ 7500 plastic replacement tank? I felt like I was getting an aggressive sales pitch. I declined and got bids from two other companies … they both said I only needed a 1,000 gallon tank for my size house and would install a concrete tank. One bid was $ 4500 and one was for $ 5000. And one of the companies explained how to make a temporary baffle which my husband was able to install. What a relief! When I asked Speedy about putting in another baffle, they said they didn’t think it could be done.
Bottom line, I think they use aggressive sales tactics and are way overpriced … cannot recommend them.
