I have no idea how this place could have any less than 4 stars at a minimum. This is the place to go if you want a great burger and amazing fries done right. My husband and I ate here and we both loved it. Both of our burgers were cooked perfectly, tasted very flavorful and juicy, and topped with amazingly fresh quality ingredients. We have not stopped talking about the fries since we had them last. They are what fries are supposed to be: crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with the perfect amount of seasoning. They are even great cold. The little ice cream shop they have is the coolest part of the experience and we can’t wait to go back and get another frosty treat from this blast from the past diner.

This place is awful! The owners scam their employees and don’t deserve to own a business! The food is mediocre at best. Its priced for its location not for the food actually served. Very disappointed that this place has lasted in boerne this long with how awful the owners are and their reputation.

Love the ambiance. Reminds me of my childhood eateries. Not fancy but burgers & sweet potato fries are mouth watering. Friendly.

This is not really a review of the food, but of the experience. Even more accurately, the lack of experience. According to the hours posted on the window, and also somewhere on the internet(maybe their website, I’m not sure because it was my wife who looked it up,) they were supposed to open at 11:00 on Saturday morning. My daughter planned to eat there for her birthday party. We showed up with two cars full of girls ready for hamburgers and ice cream cones, to wrap up the sleep over party, but the place was closed and there was no sign of anyone getting ready to open the place. We were there at 11:30. We had to make a quick adjustment, and also notify several sets of parents to pick their kids up somewhere else. We’ll try again another day.

Cute little joint & tasty food. Loved their outdoor covered movie theater that plays a movie while you eat, with outdoor heaters or fans overhead and nice romantic lights draped everywhere. I had a veggie burger and fries, which I thought were actually quite delicious. They have lots of sauces you can try out too. I loved the Secret Sauce best. Within walking distance across street from a nice gazebo and fountains to enjoy before or after eating.

Being new in town, I was craving a good olé fashion burger. Stopped by one evening, hamburger was good. Not my Bronco Burgers or Good Olé Burger in Paso Robles, but so-so. If a hamburger is good you do not have to disguise it with jalapeños, cheese, special sauce, etc. etc. the foundation should be good enough. Stopped by again two days ago, and was so disappointed. Burger meat tasted old and boiled, lacked flavor. Just not good. So disappointed! Will have to find another place. Just because you proclaim«you are the best burger in town» does not make it so!

I had not eaten at Soda Pops for over a year because the food really slipped and tried it again this weekend. I ordered the Angus Cheeseburger this weekend with fries. They were good. My only recommendation would be fresh lettuce and tomatoes. But overall I would come back again! Nice quaint spot!

2 businesses in town said this was the place for a cheeseburger, so having just moved to the area I decided to give it a try. Ordered a cheeseburger, tots, and a medium soda, came to $ 12, which seemed kinda high. Food took about 15 minutes to come out. The tots were better than the burger! Burger was dry and hard, the bulk of the moisture came from the tomato. Look elsewhere if you want a great burger. However, the outdoor seating was great, and the people working there were friendly.

This town off I-10 has lots of restaurants to choose from. So glad we tried this one! The hostess was so helpful with recommendations on what to order. The burgers, fries and BLT rocked. Add guac to it! Perfect place for kids. Cute outside seating and some indoor seating. 10 out of 10!

Best place for great burgers and fries. Today was cold and dreary but Soda Pops’ was warm and friendly! The amazing burgers and friendly people cheered us right up! The food is great and the prices are terrific. Sit at the window bar for great people watching or the enclosed heated patio for cozy conversation!

I’m not here to talk politics… or legal matters… I am here to tell you that Boerne’s got a sweet gem in their fair little town, a gem that goes by the name of Soda Pop’s. Great food — speed — great location — awesome ice cream. It’s a winning combination. We were first introduced to this lovely place last year, at a «Yelp Elite Pre-Dickens on Main Preview.» The second time around was just recently, during Boerne’s actual Dickens on Main Festival. I was in love with Soda Pops then, and I have fallen even MORE in love with them now! Their hamburgers are really something special. Fresh, never frozen beef, big round slices of fresh red onion, melty gooey delicious cheese, and tater tots that put Sonic to downright shame! Their fried pickles are awesome, as they are not your traditional fried pickle chips; it’s an entire pickle spear. Sure, they’re a little on the pricey side. A cheeseburger, soda, and humungo order of tater tots will set you back by about $ 13 but it is definitely worth it for a once-in-a-while treat. I was able to split the burger and tots with my hunny bunny, and it was more than enough for us to feel satisfied. Even though it was chaotic and extremely busy, the staff kept their cool and our order came out pretty quickly(in about 20 minutes) but most importantly, completely accurate and ultra tasty! Stop in to their«Sugar Shack» for some really yummy ice cream and other treats. I love all of the memorabilia adorning the walls of both buildings(Food and Sugar Shacks are both separate) and staff members are always helpful and cheery. You will also find little knick knacks and cute gift ideas in the Sugar Shack. Oh, and who can forget, they sell BEER! I can’t wait for any little excuse to visit Boerne again. Soda Pops, here we come!

The owners of Soda Pop’s & Infusion Spa are under investigation for perjury after lying to the Texas Workforce Commission. They kept tips and commission intended for their employees. They also owe over $ 40K to the IRS and are being sued by an investor, an 83 year old man in San Antonio that they took to the cleaners. These people do not deserve your patronage. Numerous people are discussing this on Facebook and the owners are verbally attacking them for warning the public. It’s a sad situation brought on my some very sad people.(FYI, Infusion Spa was shut down 2 nights ago and all employees fired with no notice. I’m sure Soda Pop’s will be next, if it’s not seized by the IRS, TWC or pending lawsuit…)

Came here to get a cold drink in the super hot summer weather! Lady who greeted us was super friendly and gave us all her drink options and told us about the place next door where we could get shakes, ice cream or bottled soda. Decided on a fountain drink, and she said if we were going to walk around and wanted a refill it would be free. Super nice and friendly big +++ and great customer service that you don’t come by often!

Walking up, the restaurant was alive with business, the aluminum furniture adding a brightness and lightness to the outside eating area. Upon entering the building, there are stools and counters for about eight people. The person who took our order was very friendly. We were happy with the choices on a relatively short menu. Looking at the food others had already ordered we couldn’t go wrong. My daughter and I both had burgers and ordered fries and onion rings. Everything tasted fantastic! The meat had great flavor and all the toppings on the burgers were fresh and delicious. The people working there were very attentive to anything we might need as far as refills or anything else went. These are definitely people who care about what they’re serving and their interactions with their customers. That’s not something you see real often anymore. I will definitely be back.

Came here after escaping the city child free with the husband. After driving down Main Street we saw Soda Pops on the corner. A small black, white and red decorated retro style building greeted us. A covered patio playing 70’s music offered plenty of seating. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and I got a footlong hotdog. We shared a huge order of sweet potato fries. It was awesome food and had great ambience– a perfect chill place to people watch and eat a great meal. My hotdog was simple but yummy. My husband had no complaints about his burger. We both loved the fries. Will be bringing the kid back for a family day out in Boerne.

Three rounds at Soda Pops and I am a big fan, here’s why: Sweets: the candy selection is so-so in terms of size, but the selection is funky and different from an average candy shop. The fall seasonal pumpkin spice blue bell/bonnet(?) ice cream was oh so delicious. I don’t eat ice cream often, but I would eat a whole gallon of that stuff. Sodas: Their sugar cane sodas are sweet and come in a myriad of flavors. I had the cream soda, the cherry cola, and the ‘original’ dr pepper. However, when they said they had hot cider, it actually tasted like hot cream soda… no apples present, and definite carbonation. Food: I have enjoyed their: hot dogs, burgers, tater tots, onion rings, and french fries, and I loved every bit of it. The hot dog was tasty, and the consistency of the bun was fluffly and fresh. The Magnum burger(jalapenos, pickles, cheese, lettuce and maybe some more stuff on two patties) was so juicy. YUM. Service: The gals who work here are nice, friendly, and provide top-notch service. The service makes this spot worth the visit, for sure.

Any place that has a 50’s diner-y vibe and serves old-fashioned soda pop and Blue Bell ice cream is a winner in my book! But, luckily, that’s not all Soda Pop’s has going for it. Positioned on the a bustling corner in good ol’ Boerne, TX, Soda Pop’s is a great place to post up at a patio table, grab a Shiner, and watch the world go by. In order to indulge in a coke float I had been looking forward to all afternoon, I tried to control myself at lunch, so I was thrilled to see a turkey burger on the menu. You can add your choice of cheese to it and they even offer a variety of buns — I went with jalapeño. Is it a gourmet Kobe beef burger? Nah, but I’m sure that’s not what they’re going for. It’s a solid greasy burger that taste just like the ones my dad used to grill in the backyard, and there’s definitely a time and place for that kind of burger. These burgers are no joke huge. I could’ve easily shared my single patty one with someone else. When paired with the hearty, thick-crusted onion rings(and perhaps a cheese fry or two…) it definitely hits the spot. Then we hopped next door to its sister restaurant(Sugar Shack) to grab something sweet for the ride home. Can’t wait to visit again! I’ll be saving my calories until then…

Soda Pops definitely attracts the motorcycle crew but it is somewhat of a unique place — like an ode to soda fountain joints of the 50s. Very tiny inside but plenty of patio furniture outside in order to enjoy the Main Street scenery. They have the basic foods such as burgers, hot dogs, and fries. I went for a corndog, fries, and a chocolate malt. I could definitely taste the malt and everything came out piping hot when I got it. At the time I went though, it seemed as though they were short-handed since the cashier was busy relaying orders, cashing folks out, and taking care of requests for forks, lids, etc. Oh and if you have to use the restroom, the door to it is on the left side of the building(if you’re standing facing the building). I don’t know about the guys’ restroom, but ladies, don’t freak out if when you open the door, you think someone’s standing inside. I about freaked the hell out when I saw a reflection in the mirror and turned around to see it was a cardboard cut out of Elvis!(see picture)
