Place is small but worse parking lot I’ve encountered in a long time Pizza was fine definitely edible, haven’t experienced their regular menu but there are so many Italian restaurants in the area to choose from! Not sure this would warrant a return visit due to the parking situation.

I knew something was wrong when we pulled up to the valet at 6:30pm and there were only a few cars. This is the season and no one was here. The 4 of us walked into the piano dining room where we were eventually greeted by the owner as he walked by us. Several service people looked our way without any acknowledgement. I was just about ready to leave when the owner again walked by us to a petite young woman seated at the bar who was on the phone. She hung up her phone, walked to us, no greeting or apology for our wait and curtly said follow me. My husband and I were entertaining friends who worked in the food industry and were so embarrassed. We figured the food would make up for it. It didn’t. Our server had a big personality and was competent. Dinner service was way too leisurely for us as we had had a long day and didn’t want to invest 2 ½ hours dining. If she had been more attend entire we could have communicated this to her. Bar maid and piano player saved the evening. FOOD: The best burrata we’ve ever had. Tasty garlic bread and crostini. Snapper texture OK. Sauce was super dark red, slightly warm and lacked brightness in flavor. Chicken scarpiello was a brown congealed mess. The ‘homemade” sausage consisted of two nickel size pieces. The veal dish was satisfactory but unremarkable. The tables are packed so tightly if you need to get up from your seat your neighbor has to move two. Our server could only approach us form one angle which is probably why we didn’t see too much of her. Is wish the new owners good luck and if they had bothered to ask the night we came how we liked our dinner I probably wouldn’t have bothered with this review. They don’t deserve a second chance.

First time to Renzo’s a boca one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time the chicken was tender and delicious with a salad on top with a very light olive oil citrus vinaigrette it was amazing. Next time I’m in the area I will be coming back.

I like Renzo’s. I love that you can sit outside. The ambiance is terrific. Staff always good and fabulous pizza. Jersey style!

As an Italian American I am extremely picky on Italian Restaurants. Renzo’s is one of the best in South Florida. Marco does a great job in welcoming people to his restaurant, the food is better than ever, and there is no better bartender than Sonia! The piano player(Tommy) is the real deal!

This restaurant is one we will be going to more often. Great Italian food, wonderful service. I know Boca has a lot of Italian restaurants but being originally from Jersey I’m an Italian food snob and this is in my top 3.

End of an era! This used to be our go to, all time, favorite restaurant for celebrations. Unfortunately, it was sold to someone who failed to keep up the high standards that Renzo set. The food was simply horrible! I ordered the special which was lobster and mussels, which came out lukewarm at best and had no flavor at all for $ 48. My husband had the Veneziana and at $ 32, it came with 2 small shrimp and 2 small quarter sized scallops with angel hair pasta and what tasted like chef boyardee pink sauce. We used to use the bread to soak up the sauce from this dish when Renzo made it, but this time we left the dishes half full. It is a shame that they are allowed to use his name, being that the food is so disappointing. Please don’t be fooled by the name, Renzo is no longer there nor are the high quality fine Italian dishes that used to arrive at your table!

The Piano Room is amazing. I live in the same street. It’s a true treasure… the chef comes out and sings. Reminds me of back in NY… food is impressive

It’s nice that this place does reservations, and has veal parmesan, but the service is too poor to merit a repeat stop, the food is underwhelming for its price, and the restaurant is notorious for overcharging is customers by inflating prices on the bill from what you read on the menu. We waited 30 minutes for our waters to be refilled(forget the staff returning to check on our wine bottles) and had two requests for extra garlic bread ignored. I’d pass on this place unless you have a large group that needs a reservation, and then, I’d check the bill – carefully. Avoid.

We have been coming to Renzo’s for years. It is better than ever! Marco one of the new owners is out front greeting guests and his partner is the chef in the kitchen. They still have the great piano player and food is excellent. My favorite is the chicken scarperelo and the veal piccata. Also love the complimentary garlic bread and salad. Great Food, ambiance and at a reasonable price. One of our favorites in Boca Raton!

My all time favorite Italian restaurant. The pizza dough is amazing and the fried cheese ravioli is superb. There is anything I’ve ordered from there that I don’t like. Once they screwed up my order but they were quick to right the wrong and very apologetic. Awesome place I’d definitely recommend to anyone.

All of us at Stars Skincare Med Spa love Renzo’s. Our favorite is the Arugula Pizza. Everyone there is always very helpful. Our food is always great. It’s perfect having them right accross the street from us.

Terrific Italian restaurant. They started with great garlic bread. The salad with balsamic dressing followed– simple but very good. I had a main course of Chicken Parmigiana and a coke. It was some of the best I’ve ever had. I had a dessert of Tiramisu. That was great as well. I really enjoyed myself with Diane at a fantastic Italian restaurant. Renzo’s was very clean with a very helpful staff. It was in the class of Maggiano’s, my favorite Italian restaurant. Renzo’s has a nicer staff and is more intimate and romantic. I loved it!

Wow was I disappointed! We were SO excited to finally get to Renzos after living here for 2 years. We used to frequent this place years back when we lived here before moving back up north. It just isn’t the same. We arrived at about 5 on a Saturday. We were the only ones seated in the piano room and were greeted by, who I believe to be, the owner or the daughter of the owner. She was busy taking in boxes etc and it didn’t appear as if any servers were in yet so she got us our cocktails and took our appetizer order. Then we were served water and bruschetta and fresh hot garlic bread(which was delicious — more cheesy than garlicky). Then our server arrived. I asked him for another cocktail which he got. Then he took our main course orders and then went and sat at the bar talking to another server watching soccer on TV. Mind you, we were still the only ones in the restaurant. I literally had to call out«Excuse me!» to get service. When the place is completely empty, it’s unacceptable. He also screwed up my husbands drink order twice ordering him rum and coke instead of rum and soda. The salad was average. The dinner ok. I had mussels in medium sauce. It was more garlic then spiced. Hubby had tortellini that was over cooked. I don’t have the need to return — one and done for me!

Amazing restaurant! The food is out of this world. The angel hair veneziana is probably the best thing I’ve ever ate. The gnocchi vodka melts in your mouth. The snapper Francese is perfectly done. And if your looking to splurge the veal chop parmigiana is to die for. It’s soo big and delicious! I have yet to have a dish I didn’t absolutely fall in love with. Truly a hidden gem with live entertainment every night, can’t believe they’ve been here for over 28 years. A must try for sure!

The BEST Italian food in town. Service was very good and the owner was very attentive and made us feel at home. The portions are huge and very tasty. The appetizers are excellent. Try the breaded cauliflower and fried mozzarella were out of this world. Simply the best!

The owner’s daughter was so wonderful. Very attentive and made sure we were being taken care of. When I asked her to suggest something different than the typical Italian dishes I usually order at other restaurants, she recommended the Fiochetti. I was reluctant to try it because I’ve never had pear-filled pasta with gorgonzola cream sauce and I didn’t know if I should risk trying it – she was right! It was the most amazing dish I’ve ever tried. It is AMAZING! It’s my absolute favorite. She even said she could have a back-up dish ready if I didn’t like it… who does that? She made my first time at Renzo’s such a great experience that we are now regulars… which is why, now that I’ve discovered Unilocal I decided to rate them. PS: also try the fried mozzarella, OMG!!!
