Small intimate restaurant. Age group was mid to upper 70’s/80’s. Active adult country club people. With that said we are in our 50’s but enjoyed the evening. Loved my food choices, people came to the table to check on us at least 6 times. Very fresh and high quality foods. We enjoyed the house wine. Summer special was 30 each, very worth it. Great value but for a quality expensive meal.

Great restaurant with a great family that runs it. They accommodate you with whatever you like. We routinely visit and have excellent experiences. The chicken palliard, angel hair bolognese and veal chop Milanese are always on point. Great Italian restaurant. They make you feel at home and part of the family!

I came here after my meeting with Cliff Huxtable at the Four Seasons. I had the pleasure of running into Paul Allen, Timothy Bryce, Van Patten, Marcus Halberstram, and even Luis Carruthers.(the biggest doofus in the business) I had the red snapper with violets and Pine Nuts. The Boca Raton matinée is calling a mysterious, yet playful little dish. I also recommend the grilled free range rabbit with herbed french fries. I’ll be back to Dorsia but I have to go return some video tapes.

As an Italian in Boca, we have many choices — Dorsia stands out! Great bar(we LOVE eating at a great bar and this one is top notch), food is innovative but familiar, delicious and interesting and the service is impeccable. I am a creature of habit and prefer to always order the same thing especially if it’s amazing ie. Ravioli, Veal Chop, fresh pasta or seafood but here I am ordering new things and enjoying them each time. Within 2 months of discovering we have been here 4 times — always a pleasure and always a great meal. Thank you Chris snd his family — we are fans!

0 points for disinterested, although not rude, hostess lady taking reservation and«greeting» us at the door. +1 for warm and friendly server. +1 delicious bread and olive oil with quality green brown and purple olives. +1 really good appetizer(eggplant meatballs and grilled octopus). Octopus in particular had the perfect harmony between its ingredients. –1 quickly deteriorated service once the place began filling up. Not once were we asked about our food after main dishes were served. At one point I had two knives but they didn’t care. –2 overly cooked shrimp, undercooked pasta, sauce not absorbed in the pasta, overall bland and uninspiring main dishes(avoid fruit de mare or squid ink pasta). –1 hostess completely disgruntled about getting me some change to tip the valet. So actually –1 overall.

What a wonderful restaurant, with great service and food! We have been a few times and this restaurant never fails. Good drinks, Northern Italian cuisine and always busy, so make sure you make a reservation, especially in season. Just love it!

This place is amazing with allergies, Toni is absolutely accommodating and just so nice. I sit down and everyone is eating the bread they give out and I’m allergic to it so she asks me if I want some crackers! I’ve been in Florida for a week and have had 3 undercooked steaks and I came here and it was perfect, I asked for well done and I got well done. Since I have allergies my dinners usually have to be mostly plain with nothing like butter or anything on it. They brought out my food and it was covered in butter and things all over it. Very worried I sent it back right away and got mad because I expected a while to wait but within 5 minutes I got an entirely new meal and it tasted delicious. 4 stars because they messed up my order the first time but since the food was wonderful I think it deserves that rating

This place was recommended by a friend, and went not having much in the way expectations. Was very pleasantly surprised. It’s located in an unassuming location, on federal highway in Boca, and small but nicely decorated, including funky chandeliers with wine glasses. The hostess was great, very pleasant and accommodating. We had to wait a little for our reservation as it was crowded, and she checked on us a few times, offered different options for tables, and then checked on us during the meal: really tried very hard to make sure we were taken care of, and her efforts were much appreciated. There is a small bar, seating for about 8, and you can eat at the bar if you wish, we had an appetizer there while waiting for a table. Service was good, courteous and welcoming. We had the grilled calamari over peppered grilled pineapple appetizer with a type of chutney that was amazing; the squid ink seafood past with tomatoes, garlic, shrimp and calamari was great other than the calamari was slightly chewy; the burned garlic side with olive oil and garlic was outstanding. Wine list and cocktails were ok, adequate. Even though it’s a small parking lot, they have complimentary valet parking. We enjoyed our experience very much and will be back. Check it out and enjoy.

Ok, sometimes a restaurant is really good… one time… then the next time… meh… Well I am happy to report that we had to check Dorsia again. We went with another couple and it was just as good! You know when you recommend a restaurant you hope that the recomendees(?) enjoy it as you feel responsible, well, they loved it also… and want to go again before the«Summer Menu» is over.

I had the peanut butter soup… with smoked duck and mashed squash. Then the red snapper with violets and pine nuts. But honestly I had the octopus to start, it was great, then the broccoli raab, it was good, along with the lamb chops which were great. Ended my night with a manhattan that wasn’t too sweet, and was properly chilled served up. It’s location isn’t stellar but the food is what you’re here for.

Why aren’t we at Dorsia? Because Bateman won’t give the maitre d’ head.

I was going to stay home and wait for my fiancé to call, but when my best friend’s fiancé said we could get in here, I couldn’t say no. It looks exactly like Barcadia on the inside, but I could be wrong, I was on a lot of lithium. Oh well, the peanut butter soup with smoked duck definitely was a playful little dish, and I also enjoyed the red snapper with violets abd pine nuts. Sorry I passed out on my plate before I could really enjoy the ambiance.

We were so excited to order the burratta only to find out they ran out of it. 3 hours into opening for dinner they ran out of food! Then during dinner we ordered 3 sides, one of which was mashed potatoes. They ran out of mashed potatoes, and our server forgot to put in the order for the other 2 sides! So we got no sides. He was really old so we didn’t make a fuss about it. For the prices this place charges, one expects a more upscale experience. It definitely wasn’t. I’ll give it 3 stars because whatever food we did end up getting tasted good. Considering he forgot to place the order with the kitchen for our sides, we thought he might comp our dessert or something, but that didn’t happen. Our whole family was disappointed with the over all experience.

I absolutely love this place. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for ages now and I really think this could be my new favorite italian restaurant. As soon as you walk in the ambiance and the décor is lovely and really sophisticated and classy. It isn’t a huge restaurant which is nice, its small and quaint. We got there at around 6:30/7 and it started getting super busy around 7:30. The champagne was delicious. We had a couple of bottles and we had the grilled calamari and zucchini blossoms for an appetizer which were amazing. My mother and my aunt had never had zucchini blossoms before and they just went on and on about how amazing they were. Also the grilled calamari was soooooo amazing. This is definitely the best way to eat calamari rather than getting in fried. Be sure to ask for a side of cocktail sauce… I like dipping it in cocktail sauce, but its great without it as well!!! I love the olives they give to you when you sit down, its something nice and salty to snack on. I really enjoyed the service. Our waiter was a guy from Greece and he wasn’t annoying by checking on us every second and interrupting our conversations, he let us take our time and enjoy our appetizers and our conversations before we ordered our entrees which is what my family and I like. For dinner my got the almadine Trout which came with veggies and roasted potatoes. My mom absolutely loooooooved it she ate the ENTIRE thing, I took a bite as well and I would definitely recommend getting it. My aunt ordered the Salmon and she as well absolutely loved it and ate the entire thing. I ordered the Dorsia salad with shrimp and it was simply marvelous, I ate the entire thing and was super full afterwards. Overall this was an amazing experience. I really love this restaurant and I seriously cannot wait to come back to this restaurant and try even more of this amazing food. I noticed on their menu that they have fresh made pasta and so i definitely recommend someone who is into pasta to come here and try it out.

This restaurant is lovely. My mom and I had been passing by for a while since we live nearby and were dying to try it. The ambiance is classy and comfortable. They have really neat chandeliers that are cool to look at The service is great. Friendly and accommodating.(«If there’s something that you want but don’t see on the menu, just ask and we can probably make it for you!») But… THEFOODISINCREDIBLE! The specials are flavorful and exciting, and nothing beats homemade pasta! I’ve been here twice and ordered the papardelle and the lasagna, both were fantastic. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I’d say it’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it.

The delicious bread comes with a small bowl of fresh olives & olive oil to dip. Great start! The appetizer we ordered was whole bellied baked clams. Perfection. I had the spinach & ricotta gnocchi & my daughter had the home made pappardelle & I tried that as well & both amazing(melt in your mouth). Desert apple strudel w a scoop of vanilla. The meal was to die for & we will definitely be back! The owner Tony made us feel like family and the waiter Jeff ran after us b/c he wanted to give us a try of the PB chocolate cheesecake. Since we were stuffed he gave it to us to take home for later! LOVED this place! I’m getting hungry just editing my review!!!
