Just came home from one of the most upsetting dining experience. We arrived at our reservation time and were promptly seated. We had asked for an outside table. There was a large table near us which seemed loud. The waiter came by our table and took our drink orders. By the time he came back the large table were screaming at each other. It was becoming very uncomfortable. A gentleman from a table on the other side of us got up and went over to the table and very politely asked them to keep it down when he got to his table everyone clapped. The loud party started right up again. We asked our waiter to do something and he said it was up to the manager to do something. We asked him to call the manager. Then two young me at the table went out to their truck and started blowing the air horn. There was a small girl at another table that got historical. Still no manager. Finally the table left but not before one of the women started a verbal confrontation with another table as they told her that their table ruined everyone’s dinner. The foul language she used was terrible. She left but two of the men came back. I thought for sure there was going to be a fight. When everyone of them left the manager or owner came out and asked what all the fuss about. When we asked him why he didn’t call the police he said he didn’t know there was a problem. Then he proceeded to start yelling at the five tables that were still there. We have eaten at this restaurant many times and the food is good. When he went back in without any apologies to everyone at the five tables we all agreed none of us would ever go back.

Old school Italian restaurant. It was like walking into 1983. Older crowd, but this is where the locals go. Food was exceptional and the house wine was delish. I had a four course dinner for $ 29.00

The place was packed. Most people were over the age of 80. Stood there for 15 minutes and who I believe to be the owner completely ignored us. He didn’t need the business and let us know. He was very very rude.

OK went to Pasatano Saturday evening we were greeted by a very nice gentleman at door and gave us a lovely table in the corner for four, We decided to order off the fixed menu and we had the appetites of hers I’ll do the fish salad which in my opinion was a little smallThe other three had The same opinion of the size of the appetizer main course was decent but again still on the small Side but very tasty the reason I gave it three stars was because we’ve eaten there quite a few times before and have never been disappointed in the portions, we also felt rushed every time we turned aroundThe busboy was ready to take our plates away I realize that it was a Saturday night and they want to turn the tables but it gave us the impression that they couldn’t wait to get rid of us I guess the waiter tells the busboy what to do? I Will give it another shot but not in season!

Dollar for dollar one of the best deals in the area. Great authentic Italian food, served by caring professionals. Some negatives must have been in another place, I’ve eaten here on my last two trips to Boca and both times the food, service and value was the same. I was delighted to have a meatball app, pasta course and a vealchop milenese all for less than $ 30. I spent more for a salad and medium pizza last nite, now that I’m here for the season this place is in my weekly rotation.

Luncheon with women’s group today and as usual it was delicious. Had the veal franchese. Done to perfection. Get the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Yummy.

The pasta & eggplant was drowned in sauce. The veal was bland. The mussels needed salt. Place is very busy so I’m not sure why we didn’t like our meals. The price fixe dinner would’ve been a good deal had we enjoyed our food.

Ate here yesterday with family Had the summer special 4 course menu which had many choices, I chose sausage and pepper for my appetizer it was excellently prepared and delicious. My second course was spaghetti in olive oil and garlic. Perfectly aldente and again excellently prepared. Usually in Italy the second course can be a pasta and this is the authentic way of serving the meal. I chose for the third course lamb shank which came with garlic spinach on the side, a delicious dish. For dessert I had tiramisu, very tasty. I tried my cousins dessert of flour less chocolate cake and it was awesome and to die for if you like chocolate. I will choose it next time. Service was pleasant and efficient. What more can you ask for? We are coming back again next week. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED.

I love this place! Best Italian in Boca by far. We had the veal which cooked to perfection. I also like their sauces which are very consistent and tasty. This is a must try when in Boca.

We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday which I had indicated to the staff over the phone. They said they would take care of that. The place is nice and the service was very good. We both got the 4 course meal. My pinot noir was excellent as was the seafood salad course. The Maine Lobster Fra Diavolo was just so-so especially since there was nary a hint of diavolo. As we waited for the dessert course they came out with a slice of cake with a candle on top and proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to the table next to ours. When our tasty ricotta cheesecakes were delivered there was no candle nor singing. The piped in music was barely audible, thankfully, since it was R & B which did not fit that ambiance. Overall, everything was just«okay» so no need to return.

Came here for my mothers birthday. I wanted to treat her and she wanted to come here. I originally had 5 fm stars because the first and second course was so amazing but then the 3rd course which is the main course was lackluster. The veal with artichokes was too salty and super thin. The veal schnitzel was ok and the chicken with asparagus was too dry. Overall good experience and great service but the main course was not better than a star but everything else was 5 stars.

We sat in time of the reservation. The waiter was friendly and good. The appetizer was great. The main dinner for 2 of us was ok the other 2 wasn’t good. The chicken Palm was burnt and the veal with the salad tastes like it was frozen. Heard alit of good but was very disappointed.

My wife and I were very happy with the 4 course meal set up. Every things came out amazing. Stuffed peppers, great salad, pasta to die for and amazing desserts! Get the cheese cake, trust me. If you are in a rush, this place is not for you. All the meals are made fresh and taste like it and you will wait a bit. Nothing crazy but an extra 10 mins for amazing food!

Absolutely delicious; phenomenal service. If you like artichokes, try the artichoke with shrimp appetizer. Add a little pasta and you’ve got enough for dinner. I’m going to be a regular, that’s for sure!

I am from new York and we love good Italian food and know what good Italian food is and positano is definitely excellent Italian food. Their«tortellini Della nonna«is exceptional, the best I have ever had! The veal milanese is also very good. Large generous portions and very fairly priced. I have taken all of my friends there and it has become a favorite of all of them. Enzo the owner is polite and pleasant as is the entire staff. This is my favorite restaurant in south Florida and I have been to a lot of them !

The owner and staff were courteous and professional. The food is good Long Island/Manhattan Italian. The exterior by the window with the detritus of the restaurant, dying plants, tables falling apart, etc. cost it a star and then there are the prices. They want you to buy the four course mean for $ 27.95. So most of the menu is priced to make it look attractive. Here’s the thing. Their chicken parm is good, but not more than $ 20.00 good. This place is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced for what it is. There are a dozen other restaurants all run by expatriate New Yorkers with food at least as good for the money. For this kind of scratch I’m expecting amazing ambience, top service and food with big WOW factor. It’s a nice little Italian joint, but NASA is about the only one capable of tracking unrealistically sky-high prices. If they safely land back here on Earth, I might be back. Otherwise they have lots of competition far more reasonable.
