Peace A Pizza

CLOSED!!! SAD to see this place closed. I was told it was ok and was ready for a slice and a salad… Oh well…

I seem to be giving out glowing reviews to many many pizza places lately!
Well you can thank Unilocal for that. Often I try a new place because reviewers and friends already have recommended some of the best places.
Peace of Pizza is one that didn’t come highly recommended but seemed like a good idea.
The first time I went, a group of us from work were looking for single slice pizza place. Great things had been said about piece of pizza and a single slice of pizza seemed like the right call. We all got two slices each and we all agreed it was incredible NY pie place. The one drawback was that the two pieces of pizza cost almost as much as a medium to large pizza. Normal, makes sense that individualizing a product comes with cost.
If your digging on just having a slice or 2, and the cost isn’t a big deal, Peace of Pizza will fill you up right.

Slice or pie? No worries, they got both. There are different types of pizza to choose from. BBQ chicken, veggie, pepperoni, white, chicken parmesan, mac n’ cheese, etc. Yes, mac n’ cheese! Not feeling pizza? There is a variety of salad choices to choose from too. The counter service was quick. I wasn’t too impressed with it since the pizza I had wasn’t out of this world. I had higher expectations and it was just alright for me.

I ordered three pizzas for an office lunch meeting. 1. the pizza came way too early, 2. no utensils, plates, napkins were provided even though they were asked for, 3. one pizza was wrong — ordered pepperoni and they gave me a plain cheese, 4. when I called to let them know, the manager seemed confused and asked me to accept her apology and would I like a free slice. What? I replied that I would like the correct pizza that I had paid for. Now here’s the kicker — they delivered the correct pizza and took the plain cheese pizza back — how tacky! I wonder if I actually received someone’s returned pizza.
We also ordered a salad for 10 — this was warm and wilted and the dressing was definitely bottled. In any event, I was not impressed with the taste of the pizza and underwhelmed by the salad — I don’t think I will use this place again for our office events.

I had a margarita pizza. Very fresh and the crust was crispy and light!

Pizza comes in so many styles that it can be hard to rate. This is what I would call fancy NY style pizza. When you discuss any style it comes down to the holy trinity, crust, sauce and cheese. In this case they fall short on all three. The crust was not overly crispy, the sauce was bland and slightly sweet and the cheese was not brown and rich. The variety was interesting but overall three stars at best.

Great pizza. Hands down. Perfect texture and not oily at all. Great vibe. Great employees. Feel very comfortable here.

Ordered a pepperoni/​pineapple pizza and Caesar salad for delivery. The food arrived pretty quick for 7pm on a Friday night and the pizza was nice and hot and it was all super delicious. Peace a pizza is our new pizza delivery go-​to for sure.

Tons of variety (BBQ chicken pizza, like 3 kinds of veggie pizza, jerk chicken pizza, hamburger pizza, an incredible mozz pizza just to name a few) and cheap too! Two slices and a drink will run you a hair north of 9 bucks.
Only downside is space. There are hightop tables up front and a few booths in the back, but it quickly gets packed by the lunch crowd. You’ll definitely want to get in early, but that’s par for course for every other restaurant in that shopping center.

Thumbs up! Great crispy crust and natural ingredients, with loads a basil on my Green Goat, absolutely killed it.

Pizza was really good, but the service was very very slow. They definitely needed more people. We thought we’d pop in for a quick lunch and boy were we surprised!

Awesome not overpriced pizza by the slice. Being from out of town, I am likely to never return though I would (several times a week) if they were local to me.
I had a slice of eggplant, broccoli, artichoke, feta, (and a bunch more) and I must say it was hands down the best slice I have had in a long time.

Really nice lunch combo with gourmet slice, garlic stick and create your own side salad! Had their fresh mozzarella basil pesto tomato on whole wheat (felt healthier at least). Really impressed! Food was fresh, delicious, and super filling. Counter service was attentive and quick. Hope they open more stores in South Florida!!! Great concept!

They have slices! Yay! I really like this place. They actually had veggie slices! It reminded me of home getting veggie slices in Brooklyn. I was so happy. The food is good and consistent. The service is good and friendly. I will be back.

Pretty cool place. Came in for slices. They have something for everyone from cheese to basically a salad on a slice. I enjoyed the one I had with chicken & blue cheese.

Good place to grab a couple of slices.

A groovy place for pizza, especially if you’re with some impossibles that can’t agree on toppings. Pizza by the slice is their forte and you can get yours with a creative array of toppings– fun veggies and cheeses and meaty ones too.
The make your own salad option is a plus because once again, they have a great assortment of add ins. Or if you don’t want to be difficult (or are just plain lazy), you can opt for one of their specialty salads.
It’s a casual order-​at-​the-​counter kind of place so don’t get your hopes up for stellar service. Everyone is very friendly, but more often than not they find themselves in the weeds, but that may be due to weed ;)

Great pizza that can be ordered by the slice

This place has become my favorite pizza joint! They also have a great salad selection too. Lots of vegetarian options. If you are ever in the area, eat here! Love it!

Been here a couple of times and really liked it. Great lunch place with specials. Try it, you’ll definitely like it!
