Love coming here for lunch. Best time to come to beat the crowds are around 11am or 1:30pm weekdays. At the end of the day the food is awesome. I’m a piggy so i normally order two or three dishes and each one always hits my spots.

5spice in Boca Raton Don’t get 5stars for Maria the waiter/food handler/cashier. I went to order a small jasmine rice today, I usually get a whole entre’ but just wanted rice today. Maria who is not only very rude, needs to be taught the proper way to serve a customer the food they order that have to go into their stomachs. Maria after putting the rice in the small container handed me the rice with no bag, just straight over the counter? when I asked her for a bag, she thrust her arm out toward me with the bag and refused to put the rice in the bag. I spoke to Vincent who said he was the manager he agreed this was not proper service on her behalf, Maria almost cut him off after walking between our conversation. I then Spoke to Sylvia who said she is the manager, She called Maria over and asked why she handled the food in such a manner, I couldn’t believe Maria’s response she rolled her eyes BOLDLY at the MANAGER yes and look at me and said have a nice day and stormed off!!. 5spice are you kidding me? I will not be visiting this food establishment again for 3 good reasons. 1. the handling of a customs food is 1st priority(representation of your 5spice establishment). 2. If Maria displays such a disrespectful attitude and such risky behavior toward handling customers food orders, I will be taking a health risk eating at 5spice. 3. Maria showed a great disrespect for authority(her Manager) Is she is allowed to disrespect her manager in front of customers, how can she respect customers? BTW Their were some surprised customers who where observing these events as they unfolded they were also obliviously disturbed at Maria’s behavior. She really should re-consider working in the food industry is definitely not her field of work.

Things have really declined here. The meat that came with a bowl of was frightening looking, and the customer service is poor. I’m avoiding this place for the near future.

My friend took me to this place 3 times so far and introduced me to bubble/boba tea, which I’d never heard of before and I was pleasantly surprised! They have two different kinds of jellies or bubbles there and I’ve tried them both. The chewy jellies had a wonderful flavor but in the end the texture of the bubbles is what I enjoyed more. You can get your boba tea in a variety of delicious flavors and so far, I’ve had the Lychee and Passion Fruit one, but hands down my favorite one is the HONEYDEWGREENTEA and next time, the bubble tea cravings kick in, I’ll reorder that one :) On another note and why this spot only gets 3 stars is because the atmosphere there isn’t special. We went during the afternoon there each time and this big place was completely empty and has a «hipster» kind of feel to it. We also ordered veggie spring rolls there and they were over fried, super dark and way too dry. So while I enjoy their bubble teas very much, I wouldn’t go there to eat or stay longer than necessary.

We have been here many times. The food is fresh and crunchy and the variety is good. We love to eat here and order some other dishes to take home and eat the next day. The soups and appetizers are very tasty. The main dishes are an interesting mix of textures and tastes. Not a fancy place but a place where you place your order and have a seat while you wait for your order to be delivered to your table. Everything we have ordered is good. We have not been disappointed in anything and are very glad to have found this place. A nice mix of asian dishes including shrimp, tofu, pork, chicken and noodles. Great dumpling soup and nice steamed pork buns. Go!

Omg this place is my favorite, the pork pad Thai is unbelievable, if noodles aren’t your thing then try to roast pork by itself, it’s the best thing you’ll ever put in your mouth

I walked in and it reminded me of a Asian panda express with more décor. All I got was the bubble tea because a friend told me that she loved it and I needed to try it too. Well I ordered it(passion fruit) with pearls. The flavor was great(very strong) but the pearls at the bottom were weird. I thought there was going to be a bubble aspect of this tea but there was not. In my true opinion there was nothing special about it. It kinda reminded me of Wendy’s tea they sell during summer months with the strawberry flavoring in it. I am glad I tried it but I probably would not have it again. I think maybe I will go back to try the other things on the menu but it that does not work out at least I can say that I tried.

The bubble tea is like urinal cleaner and air freshener taste and smell. Not that I know what it taste like but you get the picture. This place is really unorganized and unprofessional. Go to Basilic Vietnamese Café on Federal Highway and thank me later when you see the difference.

I wouldn’t consider myself a boba tea connoisseur per se but I have had my fair share. This is absolutely the worst. I ordered taro milk tea with pearls and it was completely undrinkable. I would give them one and a half stars if the app allowed because the service was really nice, but I will not be going back.

Love this place! Everything I’ve had there was good. My favorite is the pad Thai with double shrimp(insert drool). The Singapore noodles are SO good. Those honey walnuts they sell are amazing … The only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is … They are slow as hell! I called 15 mins ahead and put in my to go order and still had to wait 30 mins when I got there … Lunch time is peak time. You should not go between 12−1pm if you are in a rush… Other than that, this place is definitely worth a try!

A bit overpriced, not very flavourful, crowded mid day, and the staff is a little overwhelmed by the crowd so their customer service is hurting.

To be in A predominantly white Jewish American Florida spot of chic Delray Beach and upscale uptight Boca Raton and find such a gem of an Asian restaurant in 5-Spice is a Sweet Delicious surprise. The Mongolian beef, Roast Pork and Roast Duck are to live and die for. You can taste and smell the ingredients being fresh and meticulously prepared. The service is superb and friendly. Clean, sleek and apparently multi awarded… Reasonably priced, what a winning combination. What more can you ask for! 5 stars for 5 spice!

I like their pot stickers and taro bubble tea. I’ve had the duck which is pretty much the same as other places. Trying the vietnamese subs now. The place is small and parking during lunch is kinda tough because Ale house is right next door but it looks nice inside. Okay, don’t order the original Viet subs. They either didn’t have pâté or forgot to add it entirely but by the time I opened my sandwich, we were already en route. They also are missing a few other ingredients in it.

I’ve dined here twice, and while its a fun establishment, the food is on par with that of Pei Wei. The staff was very friendly, and they have a decent sized menu full of noodle soups, noodle dishes, rice bowls, and other common Americanized Asian dishes. For a quick casual lunch or dinner with friends it’s a great inexpensive choice, but it’s not worth driving out of your way to dine here.

I’ve been now a couple of times and it’s always been consistently good. They have a relaxed dining style whereby you walk up, pay, sit down, and then they bring the food to you. I typically will take something to go and then go and get my nails done at Nail Trendz a few doors down. I believe all of their menu items are priced under $ 10. Their Thai dishes are delicious, their spring rolls are also tasty and they even have a small prepared section where you can grab your lunch, pay, and go. 5-Spice also has a couple of tables outside which is nice on our balmy December days. It can get busy especially around 12:30 so you might want to consider going a tad early or a tad after the mainstream lunch crowd.

They’re pretty good, me and my family usually get the family meal thing and I generally get Singapore noodles with tofu(if you get with family meal, it comes with white or brown rice and dumpling or miso soup) Their vegetarian plate is pretty good as well it’s like three sides of your choice for like 7 $

I was in town to visit my parents, and they recommended coming here. We arrived around 8:30PM — 30 minutes until closing.(Sorry, chefs!) My brother tried ordering the duck, but they didn’t have a full order left. Not a big deal, so he ordered the Pad Thai. The rest of us all ordered beef phở. It was pretty average and not memorable. I wish we had more bean sprouts to add in, but thankfully, with three orders, we were able to share. My issue with this was that my brother’s Pad Thai took so long to cook. We were done by the time that his food came out. I know this is a low-end restaurant, but they didn’t even apologize. They could have even waited to give us our food until his was almost done(if not done). Another thing that bugged me was that the cashier was walking around the restaurant on her cell phone making phone calls and texting. It reflects badly on an establishment, and even if she was allowed to, perhaps restrict this to the back of the house. Moral of the story: don’t go at closing time. I won’t be coming back. There’s plenty of other restaurants in the Boca/Delray area that make this a completely forgettable experience.

I really want to like this place and the concept and menu items are really cool if they can pull it off. But they can’t. I was so excited to see bahn mi on the menu but the bread was old and hard, the flavors were not great. The pad Thai was not edible. They burnt the egg and instead of remaking the egg, they served it that way so all I can taste is burnt egg. Gross. The phở was also equally gross. The noodles were overcooked mush. I love Asian street food but this place can’t cook. Definitely not authentic.
