I love Gyros so when I seen this place I thought YUM. I was highly disappointed. The lack of any customers in an area that should be packed should have steered me away, but noooo… I wanted a Gyro. The food was way overcooked. It was inedible. Tough and tasteless. The Tzatziki sauce, if it was even that, was watery and had no flavor. When the guy finally walked by, I told him the meat was way overcooked that I couldn’t even eat it. He said«next time, try ordering it rare». WHAT?! For one thing, I don’t order my meat a certain way when its a Gyro, second, I WILLNEVERBEBACK!!! Stay away and save your money. A rubber sandwich with a soda was over $ 10 for lunch. Gross… just plain gross.

All I have to say is… the food is not good, very hard to communicate with staff due to language barrier and just not accommodating. I will not go back here and wouldn’t doubt if this place goes out of business soon.(If Unilocal had a «0» star option I would pick it)

Jim is not the Bom Bom Bom… and we left with a pocket full of dimes as well. Sounds like a great song right??? Well that’s all she wrote on this one! I would avoid this place, for real. It’s not worth the money, the communication is extremely difficult, food is average at best, and parking in this plaza is a nightmare. We walked in, walked all the way to the back of the restaurant, and ordered«the special’ that was on the whiteboard… in the window. I’m guessing it’s a husband and wife team that run this place, based on the complete LACK of communication. The husband comes over says there’s no special today just normal stuff… OK then take it out of the window… Duh — ever hear of false advertising much? My sandwich with drink $ 10.35 Anyhow, I order a chicken gyro and a soda… the wife(?) asks me what I’d like for a side, now her English is poor, at best, so we had a very hard time understanding her, so I asked her „what are my options“ she replies ‘hummus’… I say „OK then I will take the hummus!“. Given only one option, option 1 is the winner! Co-worker orders, same thing as me… no tomatoes + feta… had to mention the feta 3 times. Asks what the side options are… was promptly told she doesn’t get a side? Now how the heck does that work???(hold this thought) Last co-worker orders, gets a felafel sandwich(which apparently comes with a side) he wants hummus but in the sandwich, not on the side. He orders a water, and she charges him $.50 for it. Turns out it’s not even regular water, but rather seltzer which he did not want! He gave her the money, she didn’t have any one’s I guess, so she gave him $ 1.50 back in dimes… he just shook his head and laughed. Jingle Jangled his pocket a bunch and we made up a song. We sat down and was like oh boy this place is NEVER going to make it. Especially when you compare the value, service, and the fact that it’s GREEK food, which are a dime a dozen around these parts. Felafel sandwich is ready first, he goes up and gets it. About 5 mins goes by and the husband pokes his head over the counter asks us if we ordered 2 gyros, YES! we did, it’s ready he tells us. Apparently, it’s been sitting up on the counter. Walk up, grab sandwiches and there’s an older father and his son(maybe in late 20s) sitting there, they both start laughing and say ‘how long you think this place’s got? 6 months?» I started laughing too, unbelievable. Open up sandwiches, one does not have tomatoes… but also does not have Feta. Pretty small sandwiches too. One came w/¾ths of a pita and some hummus, the other one did not, I go them to throw in another ½ a pita and 3 teaspoons of hummus for her. I left hungry, no joke. It was OK, at best, didn’t taste much like Greek, but rather just a chicken pita, very plain. As we got up to leave, we noticed the garbage is all the way in the back, so we walk back there to throw our stuff away. Father and son now have their food, son is shaking his head and is getting up to return his sandwich. In conclusion, with all the Greek places to eat around here, that are more affordable, and give you more ‘bang for your bombom’ I would go elsewhere.

This is a new place that opened up in the same area as Five Spice and Ale House. A colleague who hails from Turkey was excited to try this one out and we joined in. The first thing we noticed was the cool interior and décor as its more like a lounge setting for a place serving up Mediterranean food. Except you don;t get as comfortable as you’d do in a lounge and they don;t have a hooka to drown you in tobacco smoke. The menu has all that we’d come to expect in a middle eastern joint — Falafel, Gyros, Shwarma etc. The guys there were so friendly and enthusiastic they gave us samples of the Lentil soup, falafel balls, pita bread with hummus. I was almost full just sampling this. LOL. We were a big group of about 10 so not all of us would sit on one table but I always wanted to sit on the high chairs anyways since outside seating was already taken. My chicken Gyro was fabulous. Not overtly spicy and that’s perfect for me. The chicken was wll cooked and the marination had really come through. The prices are good and decent portions. It also will be interesting to visit this place when they have a game. There are a lot of TV screens all over and these guys seems to be big fans of soccer. Its great to see a line-up of new quality Mediterranean restaurants opening up in Boca. It’s much better than seeing another fried food –fast food chain pop up. This one’s for the support of local businesses!
