Hostess was EXTREMELY rude. My mom and I were on our way out. We were waiting by the hostess station for a large party to pass us. The hostess said to my mom«go». My mom said that she was waiting for the other party to pass by to which the hostess replied«THENMOVE». Won’t go back.

Great appetizers, salad and really good lamb chops and crab cakes. The portions were nice size and we had a very nice waiter. Water glasses were refilled without asking and the garlic bread was really delicious. Would definitely go back.

The waiter Mike was superb his service was professional, knowledgeable and most gracious Garlic bread was very tasty. Crab cakes little filler. One major complaint was that the lobster small as it was in their seafood special(Kee something) over pasta was so overcooked I couldn’t get it out of its shell. Thus the rating above isn’t 5 stars!

Great food, great service, large portions. Went for my birthday and will definitely go back. Attractive décor, always in demand by returning customers. Crab cakes, stuffed broiled shrimp, fillet mignonette and swordfish all excellent. Don’t miss the garlic bread its top notch!

Had an amazing dinner. The best tuna I have ever had. It was super busy on New Years Eve but the staff did an excellent job. Make time to go to this restaurant!

Always a delicious meal with great service. I made reservations in advance. Our table was ready when we arrived and the manager assisted seating my mom who uses a walker. Everything coming out of the kitchen looks amazing but, I specifically go here for their cioppino, the best I’ve ever eaten! My mom always gets the grilled scallops and my daughter always gets the filet mignon with bernaise sauce. The spinach Maria and the yummy garlic rolls are a must. I meant to take pictures of the food but halfway though the meal, I realized I had forgotten. Guess I’ll have to go back! This place has become one of our favorites in South Florida!

basically a sea food restaurant or though they do have steaks. The good news: * For a busy, large, crowed restaurant the noise level is moderate(by today’s standards). Conversation is possible. * Once we were seated(see below) our waitress was helpful and attentive. * Good size portions, nicely prepared. I had the crab cakes. Excellent and so rich that I could not finish them. The spinach side dish is not to be missed. * Pleasant ambiance. * Service was prompt. The not so good news: * We had a 6:15PM reservation. We were not seated until 6:45PM. I gather that this is the usual state of affairs. Fortunately we found places at the bar to sit. If we were forced to wait outside(standing) the 30 min delay would have been much less tolerable. Nevertheless, we shall return.

Went for my Grandmothers 90th birthday with a group of 9 people. The restaurant is large, a little dim lit, and can be noisy. The service was super quick and helpful. Never had to ask for anything. Once you finished your water they were right there to fill it up. They started the table with delicious warm garlic bread. For my main dish they are mainly know for sea food so I got a seafood combination. It was good but nothing amazing. The lobster and stuffed shrimp were tasty, but the crab cakes not as much. They all come with sides dishes, which were delicious(I had the garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. Would also red mend the creamed spinach) A small detail I liked was they brought everyone’s main dish at the exact same time, using multiple waiters. Would recommend for good service and above average seafood.

After having been to Kee Grill several times and reading the multiple preceding reviews leading to only a 3 ½ rating… it is now apparent that we are dealing with TWO restaurants. First there is the Saturday night Kee Grill IN season at 7PM and to some extent OFF season where one will find a crowd milling around the entrance waiting for their reserved table which may not be quite ready as some of the diners just won’t get up, while prolonging the coffee and dessert segment of their meal… simply refusing to leave their tables… not surprising since Kee Grill has a very delightful tropical like ambience albeit a bit too crowded with the closely knit tables creating an obstacle course for the walkers and such the evening rush at the start of a meal has resulted in some negative reviews. If you prefer a more civilized approach to dining, I would suggest reserving a table in the summer on a weekday at an off hour… the food will be the same and the service will be somewhat improved. if you have to wait for your table… the bar is frequently available since we are dealing with an older crowd which doesn’t seem to hang around bar to any great extent. However, if you do not dine on a Saturday night you may miss the wonderful«Fashion Show“provided by many of the septuagenarians. Either way I always enjoy Kee Grill because the food is truly wonderful. If you review the menu you will see that there are so many enticing appetizers and fish choices which is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Kee Grill. Service was excellent tonight. I have to commend the restaurant in instructing the servers to clearly state the price of each of the specials when announced… if I have to ask the price of the specials and find that they are considerably higher in cost than the routine items on the menu, one star is automatically removed… a pet peeve of mine. Fortunately this did NOT happen at Kee Grill. Now for the food: we started with wonderful vine ripe tomatoes with blue cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette. My main dish was a very fresh Chilean sea bass glazed over with a ginger, sesame soy dressing. This was accompanied by a ramekin containing their famous Spinach Maria prepared with three cheeses and breadcrumbs… not to be missed. In addition the entrée came with a pile of mushrooms which could be missed. My entrée was worthy of 5 stars. My wife enjoyed a baked yellowtail snapper stuffed with crabmeat… also clearly 5 stars. Dessert was shared & enjoyed by the table which I did not partake in. I enjoyed an average 4-star cappuccino. Kee Grill is worthy of at least four and a half stars. I’ve kept it at 4 stars since there is some room for improvement with regard to being seated on a Saturday night. in a way this restaurant is a victim of its success.

My husband and I went back for the 2nd time last night. The place was packed and the clientele made us 60 somethings feel very young. I never saw so many people with walkers, oxygen etc. in one place outside of a doctor’s office or assisted living. Made me happy that people that age have such an expendable income because the place is pricey. We had 5 drinks between us, Ketel One on the rocks and fancy martinis which were $ 11 each. Hate to think that my daughter may choose to celebrate her birthday there because we will end up spending $ 100 on drinks alone and adding at least $ 20 to the tip but if that is what she wants, that is what she will get. The place is quite noisy which made me look at the ceiling to see if it was one of those places without anything to absorb the noise — it wasn’t. We were seated behind a table of 6 and listened to a gentleman entertain his whole table. It brought back pleasant memories of my father-in-law and some of his friends that were real comedians. We arrived for our 6:00 reservation and were told we would have to wait 10 minutes so we went to the bar — no problem, we were a few minutes early. Just as the bartender went to put ice in the glass, the hostess came and got us — fastest 10 minutes of my life. I felt sorry for the bartender missing out on a tip as we would now order at the table. The food was wonderful and fresh, I had the mussels appetizer and was happy they would accommodate my displeasure with crushed red pepper. You can give me all the wasabi and horseradish you want but I do not like tasting peppery type of spice. The mussels were small and tender covered with a crushed tomato sauce. Sauce was so good that we went through way too much bread. Once we ran out of bread, hubby finished it with a spoon like it was a soup. I think I would try the white sauce next time though. My husband had the Caesar salad which he says he will not order again. I do have to say that my homemade Caesar dressing puts theirs to shame. They leave the anchovies whole so the flavor does not really get into the dressing itself. For a main course, I had the Surf and Turf which consisted of a filet and a 7 oz. tail. Hubby had twin lobster tails which were 7 oz. each. I was sorry I did not do the twin tails as the filet was nothing to write home about — I do a better filet at home with my grill pan. However, I wanted to have the sauteed mushrooms and I do not think they accompany seafood well. We both had the Spinach Maria which is scrumptious. I need to find a recipe so I can make it at home. Our waiter warned me that the spinach had pepper but I had it on my first visit so I knew it would be fine. I do cook with pepper — just don’t want to taste it as a predominate spice. By the time we finished, the tab with the tip hit $ 200 for the two of us but we are worth it and the food was worth it. We will go back and I am prepared for my daughter to say it is her place of choice this year.

Recently moved back to Boca Raton and decided to try Kee Grill since we live very close. It was amazing! My boyfriend and I sat at the bar and enjoyed dinner. The bartender was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. In addition the GM was very helpful and guided us thru the menu. We will definitely be back! The seafood was wonderful and so was the wine. Next time I look forward to trying somehow sweet!

Food and the service were excellent. Waiter Jason was very attentive. If you get there before 6 they have a early menu. This is loaded with the senior crowd as the early menu is a nice deal do make sure to make reservations.

TERRIBLE customer service. This used to be my one of our favorite restauraunts, not anymore. Made a reservation a few weeks ago for an upcoming Friday night. needless to say I was surprised when they called to confirm and say my reservation was for the night earlier. I explained there was a mistake, as it should be for the next night. I asked for the manager to call to discuss. He never did! I called later and spoke to brad. explained the situation to him, and he was nothing but rude and condescending and hung up twice to me! I offered to come in earlier or later and sit at the bar to wait for the table. His response was don’t you understand no matter what time you come in there will not be a table for you. He claimed that I purposely made a reservation the wrong night to get what I wanted. Nope, he was wrong. If brad was a good manager he would understand the situation, maybe offer to buy a round of drinks and wait for a table. Or explain that tommorow couldn’t happen but how about come back next time speak to me. Kee grill, you should really rethink who represents you. You have lost a customer.

The good: Hands down this is the best seafood restaurant in Boca! They have 10+ types of seafood on the menu every night and then there are always the nightly specials. This is not your typical seafood restaurant. Every dish carefully prepared and well balanced. Typically they have a couple of additional fish and a veal/pork/lamb chop as an evening special. For you non-pescatarians they also have a rib-eye and a strip steak. The cuts of steak and preparation are as good as anything you would get at a Morton’s, Ruth’s Chris, Prime or other high end steak joint. However, the seafood is where this place shines. The Palm Beach snapper is my wife’s favorite. The blue crab cakes are yummy too. Even the bread is top notch. However, what keeps me coming back, what wakes me up at night thinking about it, what makes me salivate as I write this review is the out of this worldly f”ing awesome Chioppino!!! This is a hard dish to find, and harder still to make perfectly, and this place has it nailed! For the un-initiated Chioppino is like an Italian Bouillabaisse from San Fran. Their’s has lobster, mussels, shrimp, scallops, clams, and some sort of fish in tomato broth over orzo. They will warn it is spicy, but hey this is Boca, so order it extra spicy and it will be just right! Sop up the broth with the garlic bread. Perfection! The bad: Very busy. Especially in season. Get a reservation. Wait can be long even with a reservation. They have an early bird special, but you must be seated and order by 6! This is the 80 to 90 year old crowd. Impossible to make it in during season. The«younger» crowd show up later. The later diners are not exactly the hippest. Hip replacement crowd yes. If you are in your 50’s you are likely to be the youngest person here by 20+ years. You know what they say about old people, every meal could be their last, so they make that shit count!

Visited for my second time this past weekend(from NYC) and the food is still amazing. The restaurant can definitely get crowded so be sure to make a reservation(esp for big parties). Chilean sea bass is my favorite staple entrée on the menu. Each entrée comes with 2 good sized side dishes — choices of potatoes, veggies and their famous spinach maria(creamed spinach w breadcrumbs).

Very good creative seafood dishes, generous portions, not outrageous prices(for Boca) and a neat décor. Bustle sometimes makes course pacing an issue.

Good food, good service but be prepared to wait 20 — 30 minutes after your reservation time if you have the 2nd seating. If you can handle that, than you are good to go. My wife has had the veal chop the past couple of visits and she said it was excellent. My standard order is the scallops which are very good. We will return knowing reservations really don’t mean anything.
