If you like salt as your only flavor, this is the restaurant for you. The chips were stale and the salsa was tomato juice with some chopped up vegetables. No flavor. No spice at all and I am not a fan of overly spicy food but some would have been nice, Not good and won’t ever go back. I am not a big person but the booth was super tight to sit in.

They didn’t have a pork Chimichunga on the menu, just beef and chicken, but they had pork listed under something else and I asked if I could have a pork and no problem. I asked for beans and rice too with the order. Beans were soup and not hot, the Chimichunga wasn’t crispy at all, but a burrito instead. I asked the head guy and he said that’s how we make them. The sauce for the chips were suppose to be with some flavor but no taste. Last time I go here.

Stopped here for some appetizers, nachos and tamales were delicious. Highly recommend this place. With 4 and a half stars and over 100 reviews, we knew it would be great. We were not disappointed!

Really great food. The very best. Love the place. Servers were very attentive. Tamales were so good reminds me of when I went to San Antonio and have original Mexican and this place has the same great taste. A pleasant surprise to find the same great flavor here.

I can not say enough good things about this place, but shall try. My Husband and I chose this restaurant for date night after seeing it on our Unilocal. We are so glad we did! Upon entering we were greeted and seated promptly by the hostess. A gentleman came over and gave us chips and salsa within a minute and shortly after our waiter brought menus and water with lemon. If given the option, do ask to be seated in Daniels section. He was so knowledgeable of the food and really helped us in deciding. Plus, he was so nice, attentive, and friendly. The food was brought out in less than 15 minutes. This place really knows what they’re doing. I don’t think I’ve ever used the word ‘impressive’ to describe any place or dish, but that’s the perfect word for what I had, which was a vegetarian fajita with an extra side of guacamole. The flavors were perfect and everything tasted so fresh. I loved every part of my dish, including the mushrooms that I normally hate! The ONLY thing I would critique is the salsa. While the flavors were there it was a bit too soupy for my taste. We will be recommending this place to anyone that will listen! Seriously, try it.

A very nice surprise in Blue Springs. I came in at around 4pm on a Thursday. The place doesn’t have the best atmosphere(décor is a bit cheesy) but it was very clean. My waiter greeted me right away and I sat in a table towards the middle of the restaurant. He brought me chips & salsa right away, and they were good enough. I asked him to direct me to one of the spicier chicken dishes, and he suggested the Pollo Al Carbon(I think that’s what it was). I ordered, and my dish was brought out within 10 minutes. The dish was very flavorful and delicious. The perfect amount of moderate spiciness for my taste. It was 11.99, but I got two meals out of it. My check was brought out quickly when I asked. One of my(few) pet peeves is when you ask for a check and it takes 15+ minutes for it to be brought out. The place was not busy when I visited(1 or 2 other diners), but I’ve had this happen in places that were not busy, too. The service was generally very prompt, and I felt welcomed while there. The place just had a warm atmosphere. I would definitely visit again.

Some friends recommended this place and I have to say I was a little nervous. I’m trying to eat healthy and most Mexican restaurants aren’t known for having the healthiest options. Upon entering the restaurant looks like an old Chinese restaurant that was transformed into a Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t peak dinner time but there was still a lot of customers. We were seated immediately though and I have to say, the service was remarkable. Not only was our waiter attentive and quick but the other staff filled out water glasses and took empty plates away. Everyone was on their game. Even the food came out super fast. Probably the best service I’ve had in a very long time. As for the food, the waiter made many recommendations. I chose of them which was a chicken taco dish. I was nervous seeing it came with 4 tacos and figured I would take some home to stay true to my diet. When the food came out I was presently surprised. The 5 tacos were on homemade corn tortillas, not flour. I normally hate corn tortillas too but these were incredible. The tacos were not overstuffed like most places and everything on it was fresh. There was chicken, red onion, guacamole, and cilantro. Perfect portions for a taco. I ate 4 of them which had me stuffed. The fresh ingredients and small portions though meant I only ate about 400 – 600 calories which was great! The taste was spectacular too. Fresh healthy food always tastes that way and much better to me — this was that! I would highly recommend this place!

Not good stuff, salsa runny and ketchup tasting. Chips on the stale side. Guac left out and turned brown. Canned chicken in the quesadillas
