Our favorite local Mexican restaurant by a long shot! Delicious, huge portions and friendly staff!

3.5 overall but rounding up to 4 I’ve been here twice and both times I had a good experience. Most recently, I came here as a group of nine. It’s always nice to see when an establishment can handle a group walking in and handle it well. We weren’t the only larger party this night too. We came on a Wednesday, which is $ 10 margarita pitcher day. I wasn’t too impressed with the salsa, but we had cheese dip and it was pretty good. I’ve enjoyed the food both visits and I would definitely return.

I love this place. We come here all the time to eat. I haven’t ordered anything that I have not liked. Some of the previous reviews have me a little confused. This is the best Mexican food around. The beef enchiladas are more authentic than others and the House Margaritas are awesome. Their Salsa is thin but flavorful and wonderful. I can just drink it. We come here a lot and will continue to do so.

New in town and looking for good Mexican food. Didn’t find it here. Needs a thorough cleaning. Staff was ok but not in a rush to be helpful. Chips were stale, food was bleh. Bill for four was $ 60 for marginal food and service. Won’t be back.

The food was pretty gross. Salsa was really bland and old tasting, chips stale, cheese sauce really salty, rice dry, and burrito poorly made. Very mediocre quality, Taco Bell could do better. Was really disappointed with this purchase.

My wife and I visited Rancho Grande with my cousin who recommended the place. This was a very good visit. We opened with the queso. The server said they had two, and the white one was a bit more spicy. We went with the yellow. Pretty good. Very tasty. I neglected to get feedback from my wife on the salsa. It looked a little thin, if anyone prefers chunkier salsa. My wife and cousin ate it up without complaint. The chips were a touch on the stale side in my opinion, but they were alright. It wasn’t too long until we got our entrees. My wife went with the chicken chimichanga with the yellow queso on top. I got a bean burrito with chili con carne on top. My cousin got what appeared to be taquitos, but I didn’t ask him. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My wife said the rice was average, not stand-out, but still good. The chicken was well seasoned. My burrito was very tasty and the meat in the chili was quite good. Very large chunks of what was probably pork, I couldn’t tell because it was all marinated in the sauce, surprised me at first, but I ate them with gusto. Good meal and good company.

Worst Mexican food ever. Who puts carrots in veggie quesadillas? Mango margarita tastes like cleaning fluid

We go regularly — food is consistent and yummy. Drinks and chips/salsa are kept full. Environment is relaxing and laid back. Love it!

Salsa is tasteless… the hot is gross!!! Hamburger is greasy. Wait staff is horrible… waited 10 minutes for her to pick up check and get paid. Not friendly. Tamale was dry and rubber. Never going again.

Bad food and awful service. My first experience was with carry out and the food was not very good and they charged us a big fee for it to be carry out. We decided to give them one more chance with dining in restaurant and it was just as bad.

Waitstaff was good, but the food was okay. I ordered nachos and it looked and tasted like something my 10-year-old would make in the microwave. It is definitely NOT authentic Mexican. It’s more like Minnesotican. Plus it cost way more than what I expected.

Good every time. Service has always been swift and friendly. The margaritas are strong. You really get your money’s worth.

This is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever been to. Don’t plan on having more than one pitcher of margaritas cuz you will be cut off by an inexperienced RUDE«server». I had a previous bad experience and decided to give it another try after a few months had passed but unfortunately the service hasn’t changed. It’s unfortunate that things haven’t made a change for the better but honestly, go there at your own risk.

Love love love Rancho Grande! We eat here often and always enjoy it! My favorite is the chimichanga(chicken)! They also have wonderful margaritas, mango is the bomb! Yummy salsa as well! Friendly staff, Devon is our go to server! So glad to have a great restaurant so close to home.

Food was tasteless, awful place to eat. Very expensive. We would not be going back. I would not recommend this place to go eat, Taco Bell is way better and you can save your hard earned money. so disappointed.

Good salsa and cheese dip. The banana margaritas are definitely worth the trip. Most dinners are average quality. Good vibes, decent service, they are usually busy which is a good sign.

So I have a favorite authentic Mexican place in Blue Springs, and I have a favorite yellow cheese place. This is that latter place. The pork tacos are very tasty. I’m not the fondest of their salsa, which veers towards the bland tomato sauce in my opinion. The guacamole is good, and the margaritas are great, and very cheap on Saturday night. When they offer you a pitcher for the price of two smalls, know that it’s a big pitcher! On this particular night, our server was extremely attentive and helpful. I’ve had several things here, and they’ve all been good. It’s solid food, nothing special. If you’re in the area and in the mood for Tex-Mex, you could do much worse.

Had a bowl of chicken, rice, cheese, and something else(can’t remember the name of the dish). It was fairly solid, but a bit overpriced. The ambiance & environment wasn’t dirty or dingy by any means, but left a lot to be desired. Beware, the night we went, Negra Modelo bottles were around $ 5.25, which was a huge shock once the bill came(the Miller Light bottles another in our party had were only $ 2.25). It was completely packed about 6:30 on a Thursday(with no specials), so that’s gotta account for something, right?

I’ve been by it, but never stopped. So tonight I decided to try it. I had no trouble getting a seat, and the service was fast. They were full, it was a Friday night. The menu is dark green, so plan on kind of squinting. I really had to squint to see some of it, and I have pretty good eyes. They immediately gave me chips and sauce, and the chips were thin large, and perfect. The sauce was flavorful, and not too hot. Nor did it taste like Manny’s. I ordered a fried taco, and Spanish Rice. I know… I should’ve gotten the Mexican Fried ice cream, but didn’t want to leave with a total stomach ache. I got my food quickly, and they were even more crowded. My taco was rather large for a fried taco. I expected something small. It had a nice amount of chicken filling, well seasoned, and it sprinkles of powdered cheese on the outside. The rice was mild, but flavored. I had iced tea. It was never empty. And I did consider the ice cream. Boy did I consider it, and I know I made the mistake of my life by not ordering it. It’s okay. I get to Blue Springs often enough. My meal only came to 6.31, which is a total bargain. When I left, there were throngs of people waiting to be seated. I just beat the crowd by about a half an hour.
