This doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. This place sucked! Not as I experienced the last time I was in an Olive Garden retaurant. Food was microwave standards. The noodles were dry and unevenly cooked. The sauce was dry, the chicken was dry and microwaved. Totally unsatisfactory and depressing. Hope the Olive Garden chain does something about this restaurant located in Bloomington, MN on American Road.

I vowed to never return to Olive garden after my inexcusable experience last year, but I decided to give it another shot. What a mistake! Our server did not seem very knowledgeable about the food and wasn’t very attentive to my table; she struggled with checking in on us or refilling our water glasses. I ordered a flatbread pizza and it was room temperature when I was finally served. I knew that as soon as I took a bite of it that it was a mistake because the flavors were bland and it tasted similar to a frozen pizza. My biggest complaint was that our waitress did not tell us that if we wanted to have soup instead of a salad that there would be a $ 4.49 charge applied. I have no issue with the charge, however, I do not appreciate that I did not find out about it until my bill arrived. There are so many better restaurants in the area, that I would encourage you to stop there instead. Olive Garden is an overpriced chain with tasteless food with a dull atmosphere and poor service.

Unfortunately we had lunch at here and it was really just ho hum. The salad was awe full and my husband and I split a lasagna. It wasn’t bad. But when you really want to enjoy a salad this is not the place to go.

Came with my parents for unlimited soup salad and breadsticks. Reilly, our server, was an absolute sweetheart and very attentive. Good choice of soups but my favorite was the Chicken Gnocchi. Would definitely come back again!

Olive Garden is one of those cravings you get because of the breadsticks, salad and chicken & gnocchi. You just have to go there to make that endless craving go away. I just recently tried there one of there new menu appetizer, which was horrible. Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT try the Smoked Mozzarella Funduta. I normally love cheese and even more when you add a little smoked flavor in with it, but this was a mega miss. I ordered the build your own pasta, which was AMAZING. The Alfredo sauce that the Olive Garden creates is just off the shelf. It’s pretty hard to beat. The main reason why I rated my experience so low was because of the service. It took 15 minutes for the server to great the table, once the food was brought over the server never checked back in, asked for a second order of breadsticks which were never given, and took almost 25 minutes for the bill to be dropped off and picked up for payment. I’m not one to complain about a server but for real. It wasn’t busy so there was no reason to slack off. Unfortunately, the tip reflected on the service.

Olive Garden is simply the best when your craving salad & breadsticks! Oh yeah… Your entrée too! I just love their salad and breadsticks that most times, I end up bringing it home. We went here for lunch and the service was fast, the food was hot, & we made it out in less than 45 minutes! Perfect place for lunch when you want something more than fast food. Well… Except for the carbohydrate nap you want to take after. :)

We tried the never ending pasta bowl which I very much enjoy. Both my wife and I ordered equally priced meals. The waitress proceeded to admonish me for trying my wife’s soup: she said that was not allowed. It was good up until that point. Additionally she was at our table maybe once every 10 minutes. Kind of difficult to order«never ending pasta» when no one is there to serve. Very surprising for this location they are known for their accommodation. We have been here dozens of times with no problems.

People say you need to taste best when you are tasting for first time and my first experience of Italian food was best. I turned up to this place along with my friends late night and could get best of the service and mouth watering food. I absolutely loved every part of food i had here… Surely will go another time

This is an older Olive Garden, but it is always clean and we always have great friendly customer service. The food is yummy and consistent with what I have ordered at other Olive Garden locations.

The service was abominable. My wife ordered angel hair with pomodoro sauce. What she got was a plate of plain spaghetti. The server took 10 minutes to bring the pomodoro, which the kitchen had put out as a side dish to begin with. By the time she got it, the spaghetti was a cold, gummy lump. Refills on iced tea took forever and we had to ask for a check. Have been here several times in the past without incident. There may not be another time.

It’s OK. The service was fine, the ambience — meh. Went here for lunch with three amigos — oops amicos. My beloved ordered a meatball sandwich and he thought it was good — not great. The couple we went with ordered the 2 for $ 25 and I think they were pleased. Their Italian salad is good, warm breadsticks are good+. I ordered the Caprese Flatbread which was just so-so. The crust tasted like the breadsticks and the toppings weren’t that great. I also had the chicken gnocchi soup which was pretty tasty. For me it’s a three which according to Unilocal is A-OK.

If you’ve been to one olive garden you’ve been to all of them. The food is good if you desire to have a known quality rather then try someplace you’ve never been to. The staff are typically attentive. I’ve had good and bad experiences at this location but that’s the standard for most chain restaurants.

Last visit to this chain of restaurants, very slow service. My husband ordered rosemary garlic chicken, the chicken was overcooked, i ordered chicken marsala, the garlic was burnt, and the sauce tasted bad.

A decent(chain) meal and service by Jacob. The placed was PACKED at 7:15 ish on a Sunday night but our quoted wait-time of 20 – 25 minutes was actually only 11 – 12 minutes.(YES!) The usual suspects arrived — iceberg salad and bread(aka salt) sticks. Fauxtalian. My daughter(nearly 9) loved her kid-sized(plenty) fettucine alfredo with shrimp. Her’s looked better than mine!(I had cappelini pomodoro with shrimp. I loathe chains — but in MN it’s chain-city!(And my in-laws like Olive Garden — what evs!)

I don’t actually regard Olive Garden as an Italian restaurant. It’s Italian-esque. When I go there, I generally get the same thing: Zuppa Toscana with a very modified salad(No croutons or olives, and dressing on the side). I absolutely LOVE the Zuppa Toscana and it satisfies me without a ton of calories. At times, I’ll indulge in eating one of the breadsticks. They’re very good and difficult to resist. If I believe I’ve exercised enough, I’ll take one to dip into the soup. One thing I can say about Olive Garden is that I’ve never had bad service at one, no matter where I’ve gone. The staff seem to enjoy working there, even when it’s very busy and they have a picky patron, such as myself. I look forward to going there to have lunch with friends. Occasionally, we do go for dinner. The apricot chicken is pretty darned good, too. For someone like me who eats carefully, this meal provides a tasty experience without it shouting«Hey I’m healthier than the other stuff on the menu!» If you’re looking for a good, inexpensive meal of an Italian nature, then Olive Garden is a pretty good place to go.

Well, you know… It’s Olive Garden. Pedestrian, boring, but great if you don’t want to have to think too hard about your dinner. I’ve always liked the Zuppa Toscana(soup with spicy sausage, potatoes, and greens), though it used to be much better. But last week I tried a new dish of theirs: Capellini di Mare. It’s clams, mussels, and shrimp in white wine and marinara, tossed with angel hair. Actually pretty delicious, and not super-heavy as so many of the OG’s entrees tend to be. They were featuring some new wine-based cocktails; I tried the Roscato Berry Splash. It’s red wine with strawberry, lime and mint: kind of a cross between sangria and a mojito. Delicious, but I felt it was a bit overpriced at more than $ 6.(I’m a happy hour kind of gal.) Overall, we’ll probably go back because, you know, it’s Olive Garden.

Went here for dinner with family. Waiter and the atmosphere were good. But the food were not so good. Had a salty side and bland. I think they were overpriced especially for the appetizers, stuffed mushroom and calamari. The breadsticks, minestrone were salty. 2 entrees were so so. Only the steak with pasta, the steak was tender and tasty. The peach cooler was bland. I like the décor and the place itself but I bought their food not the décor. So I have to give 2 stars.

Olive Garden used to be one of my favorite places to eat at. As I get older, however, the magic that Olive Garden used to hold on me seems to be quickly fading. Maybe it’s because I hardly ate-out as a child(understandably, my family of seven was very frugal when it came to spending). My most recent visit to Olive Garden was, I’ll say, sub-standard. The waiter messed up my group’s orders multiple times throughout the meal and never offered to put cheese on the soups or the salads. I was also not-so-pleasantly surprised about the price for the unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks meal: $ 10.95? Really? As much as Olive Garden likes to harp on their«When you’re here, you’re family» motto, I think the only thing it really describes is their consistent offering of simply decent food that neither inspires nor strives to be innovative.

What happened to Olive Garden!!! I realize its not real Italian but the salads used to be delicious(years back). Something I ate here gave me a bad stomach ache for 3 days. Nuff said. The manager at night was really nice though.
