I’m going to give 1 and not 0 stars because the service was good, but the gal(admittedly) told me they had a contest going so that is why the extreme duress to join the Landry’s club. I politely wiped the seat when we sat down with baby wipes and gave the dirty wipe to the server to let them know the seats had crumbs and sauce. The sauces were filthy/greasy when we picked them up with the appetizer. The crispy onion straws were soggy. The ranch/BBQ sauce for the soggy onions came in 0.0069 milliliter cups, so you have to get more. The beer batter for the fish was not salted. Again, the service speed was OK so I’m upping to 1 star and not 0. I would actually come back not with our baby(because the screaming waitresses doing birthdays scared the baby) to give them another shot since the Makati City(unlimited beers for 200PHP!!!) and Victoria Peak locations are good, and my wife said her dish was good.

Average food at a Mall. Cute theme. Excellent service but Life is Like a Box of Chocolates and you don’t know what you will get. Big portions, but nothing to brag about here.

Went in with coworkers while in town on business – not the biggest shrimp fan but everything was prepared very well and was tasty, friendly service also. Favorite appetizers were the garlic peel & eat shrimp and the calamari.

Good food as expected by this place. Service was fast and friendly. Also some drinks on the menu allow for a free souvenir from the gift shop. We ordered Clamari which was great. But the onion rings were a disappointment. Super oily and soggy. The ribs, po boy shrimp, and fish was great.

I typically stay away from chain restaurants, but when you’re shopping at the MOA, your options are limited for local ownership(without breaking the bank that is). So, I’ll take what I can get and hope for the best. This time around, my family and I ended up seeing if a life is really like a box of chocolates! Forrest and Bubba may have had one heck of a conversation about the different types of shrimp to be served, but there were to options that my wife and I chose that I think should never be overlooked. One is the«I’m Stuffed!» Shrimp and the other is the Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp. I’ll start with the«I’m Stuffed!» Large Shrimp with Crab Stuffing(which by the way was insane), baked in Garlic Butter, and topped with Monterey Jack Cheese. Served with Jasmine Rice. Seriously, this was actually insanely awesome. In fact, had my wife and I decided that we weren’t going to share, I would have enjoyed the whole meal myself. For that Coconut dish, another delicious meal. Straight from the menu, Bubba always loved this one! Served with Cajun Marmalade and Fries. It also came with a side of coleslaw and was able to make it one of the best coleslaw’s I’ve been able to enjoy. How so? Take some of their pineapple & habanero hot sauce and add it to the slaw. In fact, add it to everything, that’s what I did. I could drink this stuff! I even picked up a couple of bottles from the gift shop on the way out. To think… we almost ended up at the Rainforest Café, but with an hour wait and a couple dozen open tables, I decided to go a different route. Glad I did, because I really enjoyed my dinner and would go back for the same two dishes. As for those expensive adult beverages, $ 13 for a beergirita, is a little disappointing! I’ll get a diet coke or lemonade next time! I wonder if Jennnnay and Lt. Dan would like this place? #knowbeforeyougo

A family favorite! We’ve been visiting this Bubba Gump for years. It’s one of the reasons wh visit MOA. Great appetizers and food. I tend to go with their salad or sea food entrée. No mater what you order, the food is prepared to perfection and the service is excellent as well. We’ll continue to be regulars at this venue so long as we continue visiting MOA.

Bubba Gump is a theme restaurant, of course, and usually a tourist trap, but this is worth it! Food is stellar, service was even better. Ask for Joe! He’s been there 12 years, takes immense pride in his work, is unpretentious, knowledgeable, and ONTOP of things. My 16 year old who is hard to fill, and even harder to impress, said the«I’m Stuffed Shrimp» was«stupid good!» The hubs had the«Net Catch», garlic version, and couldn’t devour it fast enough. I had the ribs, with a standard sweet sauce, but they were über tasty and SO tender. Of the trap restaurants in the mall, this one has the best food!

Bubba Gump is not a place that I would typically choose to eat at, but I was given a gift card, so we gave it a try. Pros: The license plate protocol made for speedy service. That is, you flip one license plate if you need help from your waiter and flip it back if you are fine. This was efficient and made it so that whenever we needed something, someone would always stop and assist us within a minute or two. The hot food came out quickly and was cooked well. We had the coconut shrimp and the po’boy and would recommend both. Paraphernalia from the movie Forrest Gump was on the walls and music that was similar to the movie soundtrack played on speakers. If you are a fan of the movie, I am sure you would enjoy. Cons: We put our name in at 1:30 on a Saturday and waited about 45 minutes. In the crowded MOA people were expected to stand around the front of the entrance until the hostess literally screamed your name. We then followed a yellow line through the halls, where we again waited in line for another five minutes to get a table. I felt more like I was waiting in line for a ride at Disney than waiting to be seated. We both ordered side salads which were ice cold, water logged, and clearly had been sitting in a fridge for a good portion of the day. Save your money and avoid ordering one. There was really nothing special about this dining experience, hence the three starts. I likely won’t return, but if you like shrimp done 500 different ways, give it a try.

I have always wanted to try a Bubba Gump due to loving the movie, Forest Gump, so I figured, why not? I sat at the bar and my bartender, Jenny(no, I’m not kidding) was nice and attentive as could be. I ordered a small cup of chowder which was pretty good. Then I went with the fish and chips for an entrée. I wanted something more fresh but pretty much everything on their menu is fried. It was a HUGE portion of food. It wasn’t the greatest by far, but for a gimmicky restaurant next to the theme park at Mall of America, I guess that is what you should expect. I probably wouldn’t come here again, but I am glad I tried it for the experience.

I really liked what I ordered. The New Orleans dish. Very flavorful! My cousins ordered the buckets of seafood which included shrimp, crab and fries. They’re a bit too salty, but I love sea food. This place is also pretty pricy. But I’d eat here again!

This is a must have everytime I go to the mall of America. It’s all about the garlic bread here, which sounds random but believe me people fight over it at our table and have to order another basket, it’s that out of this world. The trivia is all also fun and the waiters have always been outstanding

Decided to try this place after a long day of shopping. I ordered the«I’m Stuffed» shrimp, which is large shrimp with crab stuffing, baked in garlic butter, and topped with Monterey Jack Cheese and served with jasmine rice. It was so delicious! My boyfriend ordered Forrest’s Seafood feast, which came with hand breaded fried shrimp, fish and chips, seafood hush pups, and fries. Both entrees were very good, and my boyfriend’s entrée was a big platter that could be shared among 2 people. Service was excellent, and I thought the sign used to flag down the wait staff was helpful.

Alex did a great job as our server. He was personable, helpful with the menu and drink choices, and knew how to take my sense of humor:) We ordered too much food, so my advice is to ask how large the portion is before ordering, and/or split a dish, and add an appetizer. My husband and I both ordered a shrimp platter that came with several types of shrimp, sauces, and French fries, and we could easily have split one and had leftovers. Because we were staying in a hotel, we had nowhere to put leftovers, so the price of one whole meal basically went down the drain. The shrimp was well-prepared, and delicious. The sauces were nicely paired. If you order drinks, be aware that souvenir cups and glasses are rolled into the prices of some. In addition, know that the mixed drinks are weak, and you’re better off sending your money on something else. It’s a touristy restaurant, so you pay for the experience, but it’s worth an occasional visit.

If you’re looking for mediocre seafood at amusement park prices then look no further. We stopped here while visiting the MOA with family from out of town. Decided some seafood was in order. The atmosphere of this place is fun. The service is good. The food is ok. The price is outrageous. I had the«shrimpers heaven» it came with four different style of shrimps, fried, coconut, tempura, and grilled. The coconut was the worst of the bunch, just bland. The tempura shrimp had promise but failed to deliver. The fried shrimp was so so. The grilled shrimp was really good. One out of four isn’t bad, right? I would actually order the grilled shrimp again. We also had drinks, what wasn’t communicated is the price of the first drink included a souvenir glass, the second drink was a lower price and no souvenir glass… I would have passed on the unneeded souvenir glass. The final tab was more than $ 70 for two adult meals, one kids meal, a soda and a beer. Kind of makes we think we should have just gone to the food court and saved more than $ 50.

I really enjoyed our visit here. The kids loved the shrimp character walking around. I ordered the Run across America appetizer and I thought everything was good on it. I really liked the dip and the chicken bites. The kids got popcorn shrimp meals. They came in little boats. It was really fun for the kids and they really liked the popcorn shrimp. A funny thing happened. My husband ordered New England Clam Chowder. He was eating his bowl of soup and made a comment about how spicy it was. He had me try it(I don’t eat chowder) and I thought it tasted like dressing. He kept eating it and then he offered our daughter a bite of spicy sausage. She said no thank you but she would like some of the rice. A red flag went up in my brain that said«Clam Chowder is not spicy, does not have rice or sausage nor should it taste like dressing»!! They gave him Gumbo. He ate the whole bowl before we realized it! They offered to take if off the bill but he said no he ate it anyway. Too funny!

So, I got a po’ boy. It was amazing!!! That bread tho’. Holy cow, it was delicious. Now, there were so many shrimp in the sandwich it was hard to eat. The shrimp were delicious just hard to eat as a whole sandwich. I fork and knifed it. The fries were great. My son got the chicken fingers. Those were good, the fries were great, the ‘fruit’ promised was one slice of orange, and the surprise was blue raspberry jello. That was a nice touch, but he did not care about that. The kids serving boat was cute and would entice many kids. Food was great, the customer service was average. They acted super annoyed with a child at the table, maybe she saw $$$$, but still annoying. I’d go back if I was in town, as the food was really good, but I’ll just know not to expect doting service.
