The eyecare assistant was blatantly unknowledgeable about the tests she was supposed to be performing and about the payment structure of my purchase. Additional fees were constantly being added to my purchase, and I had to question everything that was added without my approval to have it removed. It didn’t seem that the extra charges were added with malicious intent; the assistant just didn’t appear to know how to do her job or which add-ons were truly optional. I spent almost three hours in the store today just trying to get a routine checkup and a new pair of glasses — this is far longer than anyone should have to spend in a LensCrafters.

This is the worst place! Every time I go to this location, the«store manager — Stacy» is rude to customers. This time, I heard a customer ask for another associate, and Stacy stated that the person is «not in the business now». The customer then asked what she meant by that, Stacy replied, «she is out on personal leave, I can’t say anymore than that!» Then said in a snarky way, «how can I help you?» Stacy is so fake and truly needs a course in customer service. I have several choice adjectives for her, but will refrain from this site… She is always condescending to the employees and customers! Unfortunately, I try and stay away when she is there, but had to go into store for my daughters needs. I’m going to try a different Lens Crafters…

I have been going to lenscrafters for at least 20 years. After yesterday never again. The doctor was nice and good. But the girl who started me off is a liar. We discussed the price 5 times. I told her I wanted the 59 optic instead of the 79 dialated. I get to check out and my total was 98!!! She lied and said she never told me anything like that. The other staff just sat there giggling and staring. Is this something you guys normally do, set people up

Doctor mixed up OD and OS numbers on my Rx. I ordered glasses with the written script and now the glasses ive ordered are worthless to me! They really need to improve the quality of focus at this location. Ive gone to Lenscrafters for the last 18years ive worn glasses. I hope this locations rough edges dont sour my business to Lenscrafters in the future.

If i could give less stars or none i would! I called this morning and told me they were taking walk ins since it wasnt busy, i waited there for 30 mins and a young lady helped me with my insurance, after that they took me into a eoom to get started with the eye exams. It was a guy that did it, when we did the pressure machine, not once did he tell me what it was and i got freaked out when that thing went off on me, after that, the«doctor» made me wait and never greated me. She did her testing and told me i needed to sign a document saying that i didnt want the back of my eye to be checked and that there was something wrong.(Sure) when i was doing the check out i wanted glasses that were $ 188 dls and my deductible for my insurance covered 130 dls. So i needed to pay 58dls out of my pocket plus tax. The guy that was doing that told me that my total came to $ 188 dls and he was gonna charge me for my eye exam separetly(really? When i had 0 copay!!) i asked him to please disclose everything that he was charging for and his response was I DONTKNOW!!! I asked for my results for my eye wxam and left, i called again because i wanted an anwer of why he was charging for 188 dls?!? And whoever i spoke to, was rude ans told me that he had added a bunch of things i did not know! I was beyond angry at this point! Costumer service sucked and trying to make money off of me didnt work! Will not ever recommend this place to anyone! Be on the look out for what they are charging you!!!

Your mileage may vary depending on so many factors. And it only takes that one bad experience(like I had at Sears Optical in Stratford) to turn you off from the place while others may have had somewhat better experiences there. Thankfully after my awful experience at the aforementioned Sears Optical in Stratford, I found a much better experience at the Lenscrafters. It didn’t take long for a staff member to greet me and when I mentioned I didn’t have a prior appointment, she put me in for one within the hour, which was cool. I was way overdue for an eye exam so I was glad they were able to fit me in such a short period of time. The entire appointment was pretty good and the whole process, including buying new frames was completed in just under 3 hours, which is great in my books.

DONOTGOTOTHISLOCATION. They have terrible customer service. I was just standing there. The guy was on the phone the entire time and never looked up to say I will be with u shortly… It was like he could care less about even being at work!!! I tried on glasses while I waited for him to acknowledge me but to no avail. I needed up just leaving because I was not about to patronize that establishment by being a customer. I had to give it a star to post my review; but I do NOT give this store a star at all

Lenscrafters — Stratford Square Cancelled my annualy scheduled eye-exam without notification. When I went online to verify the appointment, I couldn’t and when I called to verify I was told they had already«given away» the scheduled time. Pretty much a waste of my time — by hey, they can schedule me for another time that’s more convenient for them.

Twice during the holidays, my lens popped out of my glasses. I procrastinated in taking them in to be fixed but finally remembered to bring them along to the mall this past weekend. When I walked into the store, I almost walked back out within a few minutes. A group of employees were standing in the middle of the store chatting. I stood there waiting for them to assist me for a long while. It wasn’t until another employee(who had been helping a customer fit glasses when I walked in) asked if I needed help. A few employees in the circle turned around and were embarrassed that they hadn’t seen me standing there. The ones that were directly facing me didn’t seem to care. They carried out there conversation, which I picked up to being about«switching hours with so-n-so and going home early today since there are like no customers today» Once helped by the associate that seemed to give a shit about customers(she was really nice, btw) one of the technicians came out to discuss the situation with my lens. He was also really helpful. When I left, the woman that appeared to be a manager was spinning around in one of the chairs. I gave the scene and eye roll and went on my merry way.
