Fantastic place! Great management! Family owned and they definitely care about their guests. My company specializes in booking companies in hotels and we book 100k room nights a month. So I am very particular as you would guess. My wife loves it and that matters more than anything.

I was worried to be staying in a Best Western hotel… But this place exceeded all my expectations! Super clean. Super friendly staff. Breakfast wasn’t the best but Redbud café is right down the street. They accommodated our needs(traveling with a toddler) and we would stay here again. Hopefully I won’t be back to the middle of freaking no where anytime soon but if I am– this is the place to go!

This hotel is very nice on the inside and the rooms were very comfortable and large. We stayed here during Octoberfest, when all of the rooms in Fredericksburg were sold out, and the only rooms left in Johnson City were smoking. This is a nonsmoking hotel and it seemed very new. Parking was plentiful and free. This hotel advertises itself as wedding headquarters, and we were asked if we were part of a wedding party, which we weren’t. We didn’t have any issues with noise, though. The hotel clearly markets to this element, and there are roses everywhere. The pool looked nice, if small, but it was too cold to swim. The location is good, in Blanco, and there is a cute little town square. The LBJ ranch is pretty close, too, in Texas terms. The things that made me take off a few stars were the internet and the breakfast. The internet didn’t work in our room, despite there being four levels of wireless. It would connect briefly and then conk out. It did work in the lobby. The breakfast room was bizarrely small for the size of the hotel, and one family ended up eating on a coffee table. There was the usual continental breakfast, but the coffee came out of a machine. They also tried to do a «hot» breakfast, but it really consisted of little pucks of powdered eggs, pre-cooked soggy bacon, and gravy for not-so-fresh biscuits. My kids loved the Texas shaped waffles, though. We would stay here again, but I would plan for not having internet and for eating breakfast out. The rooms are obviously the most important part, and they were very nice.

Very friendly staff — Tony checked us in last night. Clean, hot water & great buffet breakfast. Would highly recommend! It’s not the Ritz but It’s new, well kept and the staff is friendly.

This is a brand, spankin’ new hotel in Blanco, right off of the highway. We stayed here to attend a wedding in Wimberley, so we had the discounted rate. The hotel is immaculately clean, the beds are comfortable, and the free breakfast is nothing to sneer at.(Texas-shaped waffles included!) There are several things to do around the hotel if you’re bored: antique shops to browse through, LBJ’s childhood home and ranch, eat lots of unhealthy West Texas deliciousness. Not awesome? The standard«conditioning shampoo» and soap they provide. Bring your own. Also, the blow dryer in our room wasn’t working, but I always recommend bringing your own travel dryer anyway.
