Great Hotel. very clean and modern Décor. Comfy beds, great pool area. Awesome breakfast. Hotel is undergoing a major renovationt though, so the hot tub was out of commission. My only complaint is that the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed. Ended up waking up in the middle of the night to put it back on the bed. Same thing with the second bed in the room. Seemed like the sheets were too small for the bed.

Our room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. This is a new Holiday Inn and it’s very nice and well maintained throughout. Would recommend. We had a large king suite for the evening with a comfortable king bed. Our room also included a large bathroom, small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, sink and even plates and utensils. We also had a sofa(which turned into a bed) and coffee table, small table with two chairs, an easy chair and a large 50 inch TV. Lots of nice amenities for just the two of us. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was okay. But to be honest I never really like hotel continental breakfasts. I’ve been very satisfied with the Holiday Inns we’ve stayed at recently, including this one, and would certainly recommend it.

I like this place a lot; it’s a classic HI Express, and the people are wonderful. The rooms are clean and well kept, the employees are friendly, and I find it a central and easy place to stay in Bismarck. From what I can tell, it’s one of the best places available in Bismarck – and Scott C’s low rating appears to be for the Hampton, not the Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast could have a few more healthful options, but over all I have been very pleased both times I’ve stayed here – and I plan to come back. And Allan K’s right – the internet speed is impressive for hotel wifi, which I always need for work on the road.

I’m usually a Hilton guy and would on usual days find myself at the Hampton Inn next door, but for some reason I wasn’t able to book it so I wound up staying here for 4 nights. It has much of the same feel as a Hampton Inn. I agree with Joe that the staff are friendly and the place is clean and quiet. I actually like my room slightly better than the Hampton’s I frequent for the mini-fridge and microwave. The downside in comparison? Breakfast here isn’t all that great. They do have an indoor pool/jacuzzi but I came prepared for snow and didn’t even think to pack a pair of board shorts so can’t really comment. As an IT dude, I need my fast internet. The wi-fi just blows away most Hilton properties I stay at. I’d be lucky to get a third speed from most of the Hilton’s I stay at. Check out this speed test of nearly 14mbit down and over 3mbit up that I just ran as I’m writing this review. Legit.

No reviews yet? I don’t get it. Friendly, clean, quiet. I called for directions and got great service and a friendly attitude. We forgot something in our room and it was sent to us promptly at a very reasonable rate. I know there are not a lot of Unilocalers in North Dakota, but I am going to weigh in on this place for the travelers. North Dakota is a busy place these days because of the oil industry boom, so accommodations can be tight at times and this place is not giving discounts(AARP etc) because of the supply and demand. They were full.
