Another great hotel, clean and close to Hwy 94. Staff is not the greatest but I had very little interaction with them.

Standard Hampton Inn across the board. Breakfast: Just like all Hampton Inns I have visited. It is lackluster. The waffle maker was cool, but the rest of it I could do without. Coffee: Always brewed and ready to go. Staff: Kind and courteous. Cleanliness. My room was impeccable when I arrived. Highly clean!

While on a trip through North Dakota this hotel was the best priced, safest looking Hilton property available on a Wednesday night. That being said, this hotel is nothing special. The staff is friendly and the hotel is relatively clean. The clientele is a bunch of people working in the oil industry and quite an eclectic cast of characters passing through the I-94 corridor in Bismarck. If you need to come up here it will serve its purpose, but I wouldn’t go so far as to recommend it. That statement goes for the hotel and the city in general.

I’m a big Hilton Hotels fan… so I try to stay at Hamptons/DoubleTrees/Embassy Suites etc whenever i can. I used some HH points to stay at this Hampton Inn while here for the Bismarck Marathon in 2011. I was happy with the room… was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice and they had a jacuzzi which was great given that I was running a marathon the next day. I also am a big fan of their delicious, albeit unhealthy, free breakfasts. 3 stars only because I cannot bring myself to rate a bland hotel any higher. That said, my standard expectations were adequately met with a standard room at standard pricing/HH points. Since I found a way to use«standard» three times in one sentence, I think 3 stars is fair.

Standard Hampton Inn – new, clean, generic, but nice. Unlike previous reviewers, our room was perfectly clean. The room was surprisingly narrow. Not uncomfortably narrow, just bit a narrower than what I’m used to for hotels of this type. One of the rooms we saw on our way out in the morning was much wider, so maybe there’s some variation, or maybe we got a unusual room. The bathroom was big, and had a nice deep sink. The Holiday Inn Express is right next door, and we would have stayed there if there had been a room available. We paid $ 125 for two nonsmoking queens on Thursday, October 21st.

same as the previous review. New hotel, and new furnishings. My bathroom had hair in the toilet and wasnt clean. So, they need to really get their housekeeping together. Overall furnishings are nice.

This is the only Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at where I left somewhat unhappy. It is pretty new(opened in December 2007) so the interior and furnishings are all still really nice. The gym had nice new equipment(treadmill, elliptical, bike) and a large dumbbell set. My problems revolved around the cleanliness… which is weird since it’s so new. When I checked into the room I noticed they hadn’t finished cleaning the bathroom(there was still hair from someone shaving all over the sink and there were no clean towels). Then the following morning I noticed a little family of beetles, crawling all over the bathroom. When I checked out I told the front desk about it and they said that some other rooms had mentioned the same thing and that maintenance was going to look at it the next day. I don’t know, maybe it’s common to have beetles in your hotel when you’re in Bismarck but still. If I owned a hotel and a guest of mine checked into a dirty room with bugs… I’d make a big deal out of it, apologize at the least, give me a free cookie or something… but to be like«yeah, we’ll look at it tomorrow»…doesn’t quite cut it for me. The only other thing I noticed is that I had a lot more inter room noise than most Hiltons, perhaps they constructed it differently. Not a big deal, but still noticeable.
