Waffle House

Nothing makes me feel more welcome at a restaurant than waiting ten minutes to place a to go order while the relief manager repeatedly asks people to take the to-​go orders and the only acknowledgment I get is by agitated employees curling their lip at me (if they were so busy, couldn’t the relief manager have taken to go orders?). For the record, there were only four tables of customers and one other to-​go order ahead of me.

Actually, this was my first time at this location and Susan made us feel right at home. She was honest, friendly and very attentive. Typically Waffle House don’t usually leave an impression on me, but this time they did. So glad that Waffle House has great staff at this location. Way to go!

As I ordered the Texas toast bacon egg and cheese sandwich, the server suggested I try the hash browns topped. The air of the city electrified as I pondered the implications of such a decision. Topped? Am I ready for this? My soul was bare. Never had I been faced with the cold reality of dealing with what could happen if I werinto my maw. The lights went dim…
I believe the poet Ice Cube once said, «Life ain’t nothing but b*tches and money», citing the basis of many a would be patron into what is known as the Waffle House, but I would disagree. Life isn’t about such wimsical notions, but a vast belief in a crisper bacon. So sayeth the prophets. So sayeth the people. This place rocks. e to order my hash browns topped. Magic. I conceded. Death itself was but a mere fantasy as I drew the first bite.

Nona is amazing so sweet and beautiful. Nona checked on me several times and made me feel welcome eventhough i was alone. She deserves more than what we normally tip… Food was fast and pretty tastie coffee which can be like hotel coffee at some establishments was great flavorfull and made fresh. Thank you nona and staff for a great start to my day off

I love the food at Waffle House but today it was okay. This location is unorganized and not professional. I believe two dishes were broken while I was there and some of my cups were dirty. Everyone was running and telling someone else what to do. I was trying to figure out who was the manager because things did not run smoothly today. Hopefully my next visit will be better. Just a helpful tip…“Have a system in place so everyone knows their job and do it!”

I have eaten at Waffle House all over the country and this one is very possibly the worst one ever. After getting a table we waited 10 minutes for the dirty dishes to be cleaned off… That never happened. Arguing over tables was more important and one waitress was For sure stoned out of her mind. Never again!

Our waiter left us alone for 10 minutes while he stood in the corner and talked on the phone. Based on the evidence presented, he was almost certainly making a meth deal.
So at least nothing’s changed about Waffle House.
