Came to this location for the first time on a Sunday. This one is really big so we were seated right away. They put us near the kitchen and after reading one review that complained about the noise, I was worried. Fortunately, this location took the complaint seriously and we heard no more than normal noise from the kitchen. No yelling whatsoever. So, way to go to management! Now for the food! I had the pineapple pancake. It was huge and came with two eggs and bacon. The pancake was delicious. I didn’t think I’d be able to eat it all but, no worries, I devoured it! Eggs were perfect, bacon crispy. I asked for hot tea and was thrilled when I got a pot of hot water with two tea bags. So unusual. The hubby and the kid enjoyed theirs as well. The kid is pretty picky about her eggs but she really liked them. The manager was really friendly and checked to make sure everything was OK before we left. I’m sure we’ll be back to this location.

Where to start… Sunday morning around 10:30 we were looking for another place to eat since the«another broken egg» had an hour wait. So we come to «the egg an i here. Were seated immediately!!! Pleasant surprise. Staff was really friendly and the manager at the time, hats off to you sir! You were fully engaged and maximizing your seating and staff! Now on to the main review, the food. Just like all of the egg and I’s it was really good. I had the 2 eggs, biscuit and gravy with a side of whit toast. All was really good, bacon had a real smokey flavor, and the gravy… Really good! I always get the strawberry-lemonade, here they do mix it heavy on the strawberry. Other than that, was a 4 star breakfast all the way. Great job, and we will be back.

Food was bland, silverware and cups were dirty, server was nice but not very attentive. Probably won’t return

Better service and food there this weekend than we have had in the past. Definitely had a very long wait with Sunday morning crowd, but they delivered really tasty dishes fairly quickly to all 5 in our party once seated. Our daughter loves the children’s Ali Baba which is a whole wheat pancake in the shape of a bear, with a little face made out of fruit and bacon. That has been consistently well done. Hubs had great French toast, I enjoyed my Santa Fe Huevos with added chorizo, sister enjoyed a patriot waffle, and dad liked his Reuben with fruit. We love that you can get a pot of hazelnut coffee for the whole table too.

«I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» «I need a runner!» If they try to seat you near the kitchen, simply refuse. We constantly had to listen to the kitchen yelling for help and wait staff moaning about everything. Pretty good food but a bad table can lead to a miserable meal. We were there with out of town guests and repeatedly had our conversation drowned out by the call for a runner and other random kitchen conversations which I will describe as inappropriate for patrons to have heard.

The good: 1. Food quality is spot on for a chain. Many times when going to breakfast/brunch one gets a dish of salt sprinkled with ingredients. Not so with the Egg and I. Keep up the good cooking. 2. Service was attentive & non-intrusive. Quick seating and service. Points of improvement: 1. Very«stepfordy/fratty» feel. Consider adding a kitchen-view counter area for those individual drifters/singles(this also will help with maximizing group seating) 2. Loud. Although an open environment accelerates throughput and floor management, it detracts from personal conversations and enjoying a meal(ever sat on an airplane near a baby/toddler?) Go here if you have: –a herd of kids –a hungover frat/sorority group –a crew of retirees

I’m not a breakfast or egg fan but The Egg & I was very good. I had a dish with a flour tortilla, eggs, guacamole, green chili and some black beans that was rather nice. The eggs weren’t overcooked and the flavors were quite good. The seating estimate was«overly optimistic». Our 15 minute wait was closer to 30. The host also ran the register and although they were busy, I was surprised and taken aback that he didn’t ask us if we enjoyed the meal, thank us for coming in or inviting us back. Social niceties go a long way with me and not using them makes a negative impression in my book. It also took forever to get a ticket from our waiter so we could leave. Would I go back? Sure. Food A+, Service C.

The omelets were very good and pretty healthy. The veggie over flatbread was very good. A great place for children with a good kids’ menu and plent of projects to entertain kids. Coffee was good.

I visited the restaurant during lunch. I was both quickly seated and quickly approached by my server. My hot beverage came out within minutes as did my meal. The omelet was palatable, but not delectable. It was u flavorful, no salt. I prefer fresh eggs as opposed to the carton ones; this one was made of egg beaters. They should re-name this place the Egg Beater & I. I ordered the Mexican omelette. Usually the salsa is served on the side. They served theirs cooked on top, directly under the cheese. The ranch potatoes were dry; tasted as if they were made and sat for a while. I’m not sure why restaurants refuse salt, oil/butter and onion in their potatoes, but it really does make the difference between delicious and disgusting. The bacon, I got three slices for $ 3.99. Pretty expensive. I’m from the north, we use Applewood bacon & maple bacon… This was regular bacon. It was ok… Crispy… Would have been better had I had syrup on my table. I left wanting another meal… Elsewhere. I doubt I’ll ever visit again. You’ll most likely leave with the same opinion.

A-OK breakfast place. Service was a bit spotty, but food was excellent which evened things out. That being said, if you go for Saturday or Sunday brunch don’t be expecting a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa with your meal, for it was explained to me in a rather snippy tone that«We’re a Christian-based restaurant so we don’t serve alcohol.» Hmmm, I’m Christian-based and I don’t have any theological issues with having a glass of something with my meal. And I’m guessing Jesus would have likely ordered wine. Or, failing that, just made some from the water brought to him by the waiter. Anyway, if you can’t make it to Another Broken Egg or Silvertron, it’ll do.

Food was great, but the waiter first tried to tell me that I couldn’t leave off a muffin and get a side if bacon, even when I told him an extra charge would be okay. I literally had to tell him, «Fine, make the muffin and hollandaise to go with the hash, just don’t bring it to me. Also, give me a side of bacon.» Additionally, glasses stayed empty for far too long throughout the meal. About ten minutes later, before food arrived, they began vacuuming the dining room(over an hour until they stopped service for the afternoon) with a small thing that was terribly annoying.

Since opening, our family of 4 have been here several times. At opening of the restaurant and several times after, it was great. The service was efficient and the food plentiful. Sadly, that changed the last time we went there. Our server was non existent, the food was not delivered at the same time, the portions have decreased in size and some of the food was cold. Very disappointing. I’m not sure we will be back.

Eat breakfast here on regular basis. Good solid breakfast. The service has always been very good and always accommodating. Has really good iced coffee for a place like this. The granola pancake is delicious. Omelets are also very good.

I’m typically not a breakfast person, however everyone else in my family is. During my visit all I had was coffee and a Belgian waffle. Both were really good! The service was good, however the tables were sticky and it smelled like a weird mixture of maple syrup and cleaning chemicals. If you want a quaint breakfast, this is not the place to go. Way to many children running around
