This place is the WORST! Based on its POOR service and OUTRAGEOUS prices, stay away!
1) POOR SERVICE: The lady who mans the counter is exceptionally unfriendly, unhelpful and just plain awful. She wouldn’t even count the shirts I had brought in and failed to mention to me that it would be $ 16.95 to launder a cotton dress, not even dry clean!!! ANY DECENT PERSON/​EMPLOYEE WOULD HAVE DISCOURAGED A NEW CUSTOMER WHO DOESN’T KNOW THE PRICES TO NOT HAVE A COTTON DRESS WASHED FOR NEARLY $ 17.
2) OUTRAGEOUS PRICES: My bill for the dress and 10 dress shirts came to $ 52!!! I just about keeled over. It would have been less than $ 18 – 20 ANYWHERE else. Note: I was a new customer from LA (the MOST UNAFFORDABLE CITY IN THE U.S.) It never occurred to me that the bill would be nearly triple the average cost I am used to paying. I obviously learned an important lesson to ask first and take my repeat business ELSEWHERE!
3) Owner never called me back when I tried to contact him regarding the above. Figures!

Top Notch!
Came here on a Friday morning with an out of town guest that needed a last minute miracle. We were headed out of town for a funeral, he pulls out the suit and it is suuuuper wrinkled. Stopped by Douglas Cleaners and they had it pressed and packed nicely in 10 – 15 minutes while we waited. Super friendly and FAST! They didn’t charge too much considering the circumstances. This is class-​act cleaners. Feels very professional and like they take good care of the customer and their clothes.

Douglas Cleaners does great work. They are family owned and operated. There are a few locations convenient to neighborhood homes… or routes to work. They also pick up and deliver for those too busy, or too rich to drop off their cleaning. High quality cleaning, personalized service, quick turn around, overall great place.
