I am disappointed with this place since it had such high reviews but unfortunately this place will lie to you about pricing so BEWARE! I brought my shirts and pants in to be cleaned and asked what it would cost and was told $ 2.50 per shirt to be cleaned and pressed and $ 8.75 per pants to be dry cleaned. When I went to pick it up they said they had to do «special cleaning» on 11 out of 12 shirts and charged $ 8.50 per shirt instead of $ 2.50 without my consent. I won’t be coming back after this but if you do go here WATCH OUT!

If you love your clothes, then cost is no object — unlike what others may tell you. For a tiny more money, I find a lot of value in what Douglas provides. I’ll provide an example:
I brought a flower girl dress to be dry cleaned. In an unfortunate turn of events a down pillow exploded in the back next to the dress and feathers got stuck in the netting of my dress. They called and asked for some more time and had to pick each feather out of the netting with a toothpick or needle (actually I never asked how they did it, but I am certain it took forever). What I liked the most was they told me what happened (it really could have happened at any dry cleaners), what they were doing to rectify the issue, and a time frame to expect the situation would be fixed… a time frame that they stuck to! Bottom line, they are honest and reliable — which is more than I can say for other cleaners.
Highly recommend. Plus I think they deliver.

he day before New Years eve, I took my ski jacket in to fix a rip in the hood… for 5 bucks the tear was repaired perfectly and for another 7 my jacket looked like new again!
I was asked when I wanted to pick up the shirts I also brought and said Monday was fine, but would it be at all possible to get my jacket back before the holiday weekend? It was a lot to ask, but by 2pm the next day everything was already done.
People say take your VIP items here, and I am glad I finally know why. I will definitely be back.

I love my clothes. If anything were to happen to my clothes (especially not by my doing) I would probably spit fire. or even worse. threaten lives. No, not really, but they do mean a lot to me.
With that being said, I would like to thank Douglas Cleaners for taking the utmost care and caution when dealing with my beloved belongings. I truly am sorry I may or may not have blamed you (not to your face) for stealing a pair of Rock ‘n Republic jeans from me. I know now you would never do such a thing. I love when I send something in to be dry cleaned missing a button, I always get it back with a new button– without even having to ask. I love that you clean things same day– god forbid I am ever truly prepared for the drop of a dime events and soirees I MUST attend. I trust you with my clothes. Therefore, I am trusting you with my life.
Thanks for not letting me down.
