This market basket is a little slower than some of the other ones. Even tho they do not have a bakery, the service and quality of the perishable departments is top notch. They will go out and beyond the call of service. If they don’t have it they will get it to you one way or another. The meat department is always bright and has the freshest meat. Some one is always cleaning something if they are not stocking. This store really knows about there customers and how to take care of them. I will continue to shop there, this is my store and I invite you all to come do your weekly shopping at the basket in the Kmart plaza!

Hyde Park, NY
This is undoubtedly an older Market Basket, but it proves an oldie can still be a goodie. You won’t find a lot of the specialty departments, or perhaps not quite as extensive a selection of certain items. But you will find the other things you expect at a Market Basket. That includes an extremely clean, well-​stocked store, lots of sale items and teasers in the front (don’t come here hungry!), a hard working staff, and competitive prices. It’s a fine place to shop.

North Billerica, MA
I love the Market Basket prices, but would prefer a better organized store. This store has very friendly staff members (as does the North Billerica store), and it’s fun to see them dress up for each holiday and special event. Right now the stores are doing an extra 4% savings campaign so you save even more on purchases. The two Billerica MB stores are laid out the same (for the lost part), which makes it very easy to find things (even though items are placed in off locations). I do wish I could find a few more name brand items at the store (shampoo, shaving, and hygiene items are limited), but that’s the price you pay for shopping cheap. Overall, a great place to shop for grocery items!

I enjoy shopping at market basket. However I’m not a huge fan of this particular location. The first time I came to this store, I was looking for a bakery. I walked a full circle around the store when I them realized there was no bakery. All I was looking for a was simple birthday cake where I could have somebody write a quick little message on it. I was disappointed. The only bakery items they have are located at the very front of the store by the registers. However, a normal size birthday cake is not what you would find there.
Otherwise, it’s not a bad stop to shop at if you are looking for basic necessities. I have noticed however that this location NEVER has the Yellow enfamil powdered formula like the other locations carry. Which is another reason why I just drive a few more minutes down the road to another market basket.

Recently, we brought some spices and discovered an error in our receipt. This was due to a complex coupon found within the store itself and the differences between spices, herbs, and seasonings. One of the higher ups helped the cashier by adding an additional qualifying item on the computer after the higher up personally went to get the item for us. Unfortunately, the flustered cashier scanned the new item again, therefore resulting in our receipt showing 3 such items instead of 2. The coupon was also not applied as the machine still had issues. We didn’t discover the error until later that night.
The next day, we visited Customer Service and the lady there cheerfully resolved the issues. It’s service like this that makes me happy to continuously shop here.

There’s something *almost* charming about how outdated this particular Market Basket is. Maybe it’s how there’s no bakery, or perhaps it’s how tiny the deli counter is, or possibly it’s how the parking lot looks like it hasn’t seen a fresh coat of asphalt in 20 years.
Let’s face it: no one goes to Market Basket for an experiential shopping excursion, for the atmosphere, or even for the assortment. We shop here because it’s dirt cheap compared to the competition, and this location is no different in that aspect. Keep an eye on the produce you put in your cart, especially items that are packaged like strawberries. It’s easy to miss spotting mold or other not-​so-​tasty features.

I feel like I’ve been to every Market Basket store in Massachusetts except for this one, and I must say I won’t be coming back to this location any time soon.
This Billerica Mall spot looks like a depressed neighborhood, with a Burlington Coat Factory, K Mart, and Dollar Store. The parking lot is huge but it is in terrible disrepair. I’d say the lot’s about 5x the size it needs to be.
This Market Basket is the only one I’ve been to that doesn’t have an in-​store bakery. Also, aisles are small, registers are close to each other, and the store just seems claustrophobic. Granted. It was a nice day for grilling, but there was not one pack of hot dog or hamburger rolls at about 3 p.m.
Most of the MBs I’ve frequented have a similar layout, but this one was quite different. Meat was on the right wall, and the produce was on the complete opposite side of the store. Was difficult to get my bearings.
Probably won’t be back.

Used to be our standard grocery store until we moved — not bad, not great. I feel like my produce tends to go bad quicker if I buy it here rather than one of the other local Market Baskets. I also love the bakery that the other stores have, so I often find myself at some of the others. Overall though, quality and price are just right.

The comment about packers is so common at every other store too. It all depends if you get the 15 ½ yr old that doesnt care or not.
The most important issue is that market basket is at least 25% cheaper than stop n shop. I can think of many items that I regularly buy that are at least this much cheaper on REGULAR price. All stores are usually equal on sales items
Remember store hours are open till 9pm every day but 7pm on Sunday.

Everyone has their grocery store: you know the aisles, the checkout clerks, the deli employees — and everything is pretty much right where you left it last week.
Market Basket has the lowest prices that I’ve ever seen — giving other chains, including Target and Walmart, a run for their business. I’m a loyal MB customer who’s learned the products, the sales that they currently run, and how to be a smart shopper.
The employees here are friendly and keep the store clean. The deli is often very busy and it’s a mixed bag in terms of the kind of service you’ll receive. I try to go during off-​hours (early mornings, lunchtime, evenings), but very often find that I’m there on the weekends.
Overall, this is a great store and my favorite of the 3 in Billerica. While it’s a smaller produce section than the one in Treble Cove, I very often leave the store with everything I need and feel fantastic from all of the savings.
