7-Eleven

I went into this store today to get some coffee and water. There was an ad up for Fuji 2 for $ 4. Got to the counter and rung up and the price didn’t seem right after I swiped my card. I asked the guy ringing me up if the Fuji was 2 for 4 and he said that deal was done a long time ago. I told him the ad was still up. He went and checked and then came and tried to give me a receipt. I told him to refund the water if it wasn’t $ 4 and he was very rude while issuing the refund. I will always go to the 7 – 11 down the street now. When an ad is up you give that price and don’t give your customer attitude when you don’t give them the price they are expecting.

It is what it is… don’t come here expecting amazing deals, just convenience on your standard convenience store fare. Didn’t feel like driving the extra little bit to Von’s so I stopped by here for milk and water. It costed a little bit more, but saved some time and driving… No more, no less.

OK, the 7 – 11 is OK over all, but they really need to get a bigger bathroom. Every time I go here there’s a line.

Was not greeted walked in, went to get some donuts and it was old and hard. When I checked out there was a customer or a friend of the cashier just hanging out and talking to the cashier.

Cleanest floors in town… The guy looks like he spent hours polishing the floor. Great customer service but they do not know their inventory

Came in for some last minute fireplace supplies after 11pm. Greeted the guy working and he was just as dull as a butter knife (rude in the sense that he seemed bothered by me greeting him and asking him a question). Maybe he had a rough day? I don’t know. Regardless, I got what I needed and enjoyed a nice warm fire that evening.
Kudos to being open ²⁴⁄₇!

I went to this location on 12 – 27 and 12 – 29 of 2014 around 10:30 at night. The cashier was the best guy ever. He helped us get fresh chili and cheese for our nachos and was willing to do whatever he could to make us happy. He was clearly busy and knew we were from out of town for the weekend. Still, he was pleasant and helpful beyond what we could have expected. If you own this 7 – 11 and you’re reading this, your cashier is the best. I’d hire him in a heartbeat because he possesses the right attitude and effort. I will always have a positive memory of this trip in large part due to his excellent customer service.

Conveniently located right below Snow Summit on Big Bear Blvd. They have a large variety of goods here, gas prices are reflective of being in a small mountain town like Big Bear. I always buy cigarettes from 7-​Eleven because they usually have $.75 off Camel packs as well as offering discounted pricing on two packs or more. I grabbed two donuts for $.99 when I visited recently, they were OK at best, but I wouldn’t expect much better from a gas station unless maybe they had Krispy Kreme boxes, but that’s rare and you would pay a higher price. I didn’t get gas since I drive a diesel and 7-​Elevesn rarely offers diesel (can’t think if I’ve ever seen diesel at one before). The lady working today was much friendlier than the staff they have had in the past so I left very satisfied.

If you like 80s movies and saw the movie «Wargames» with Matthew Broderick then this was the 7-​Eleven in the movie. It was a small part in the movie, but this is the location he walked out of sippin’ on a slurpie.

Best place to get a Daily National Forest Adventure pass needed to park on any US Forest land — quick and easy; just $ 5. If you want to get the annual pass for $ 30, you have to go to the Discovery Center on the other side of the lake.

This 7 – 11 is on the corner at the traffic light, real easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Definitely prefer this 7 – 11 over the older one because this one has a great Slurpee and soft drink selection and public bathrooms. Plus its real near the ski runs so super convenient for those snacks after you ski all day.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The first time I came here the clerk was not nice and very rude. We asked him about some of the local establishments (seeing as we were tourists) but he totally dismissed us and acted as if he couldn’t hear. The next night we came back and the clerk (a lady this time) was super nice and even pointed out that my bag of cheetos was opened (since it happens on the way up the mountain) and I thought that was super nice of her because I would not have noticed.

What can i say, all your regular stuff. Clean and the guy working there was cool.

Why review a 7 – 11 you ask? Because there are some gnarly gas stations in big bear. This place is amazing and should be noted due to its amazing selection after a long hike. Sweaty, nasty, stinky-​come here and revive youself!
