The Village Spa

First of all, ignore the fact that Google says this place is Permanently Closed. Apparently they used to operate at a different location and reopened, so they are in fact operating and well!
Anyway, had a great experience here today! Izumi was my masseuse and she gave a fantastic massage. I got the 90 minute Swedish and I left relaxed and happy. She used the perfect amount of pressure and was super friendly, the rooms were nice and toasty, the massage beds were comfy, and the music was super relaxing. And über bonus, she actually covered my eyes with a cloth when I was on my back for the second half of the massage! Sounds like a dumb thing to notice, but so many massage places seem to think that you want to squint and stare into their fluorescent lights/​the masseuse’s face for half of your massage, so that was a nice touch! They’re very reasonably priced as well, it was $ 99 plus tip for a 90 minute massage.
I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I recently visited Village Spa and am so happy with my entire experience. The customer service was great and the young lady at the counter was very sweet and helpful. I used the Pura sunless spray tan machine and I am so happy with the results. It was so nice to get a sunless tan that was even, blended and did not make me orange like a oompa loompa. I will be retrning at least twice a month to keep my sunkist summer glow! Thanks Village Spa.

The Village Spa has only been open for a week or so but they are doing a great job.
I got a Swedish massage and was very pleased. The masseuse did an amazing job. She knew where I was sore without even telling her. I did not feel rushed and she did a solid hour unlike other places that do a 50 min hour.
The rooms are very well done and the staff was great. The price of $ 69 bucks is the best on the mountain. This is a high class spa with high class services. I would highly recommend it.
The place is a little hard to find as it is in the back of the village mall. I would park around back and come in through the Cameron Dr. entrance. There is a ton of parking and it gets you closer to the spa.
I only got a massage but they have tons of other spa services. This is a full service spa.
I know this sounds weird but I really liked the bathroom. I looks like they really spared no cost doing the build out here. This is not just a storefront spa. They really made it look and feel like a pro spa down the hill right down the the candles and the music.
I would make sure you make an appointment ahead of time if you are coming up for the weekend. The currently have two masseuses and I believe the weekends will fill up fast.
This is the best place to wind down after a full day of physical activity on the mountain.

I am a local to Big Bear and finally found a great day spa I can spend my days off from work at. I have used their Pura sunless spray tan machine every week for the past month on their monthly pass and love it! I have also sat in their fantastic gravity massage chairs and didn’t want to get out. Last week I received a massage from their massage therapist and it was the best Swedish massage ever! Their mini facials are so rejuvenating! I am trying out their new infrared saunas this week and cant wait. Always friendly and calming environment and staff. I am regular here already !:)
