What a fun Big Bear visit. A little mountain shopping gem. Take a camera and snap some fun shots with the kids. This is the place to find that perfect cabin welcome bear … or animal. I love the Bears of corse … But the eagle and Native American stuff is classy too.

We bought a «little big bear» here. The staff is friendly, and the work is quality. They will offer 20% off, but they will go lower than that. You can definitely get one of the small carved bears for $ 100, even though they are priced a good bit higher than that.

You want a what? Are you loco? A bear hunting trip isn’t a trip without: flying high tunes, salty snacks, a high pixel camera, 2 cozy jackets, antibacterial lotion, a notepad, sunscreen, and Dramamine. I think it would have been better if I had taken the Dramamine before cruising through the crazy eights. So after traveling 2 hours in a freezing car I was ready to hunt for the perfect bear. We pulled in the lot and were welcomed by a 15-foot growling bear. It was enormous, but very beautiful! Each creation was handmade from tree trunks! All the bears were so impressive! Some were tall, several were beaming with large grins, and few were sad. I noticed a bear that a welcome sign with a lantern. All the bears had many hairline grooves. I was so amazed. I felt like I was at a bear museum! I wondered around, and saw the artist himself. I was in awe, it was like meeting Edward Scissorhands, but this man worked his magic with wood not bushes. haha. The screeching of the chainsaw was the soundtrack to our adventure as we studied each bear. If you want to buy a bear, a moose, or an Eskimo; i suggest you sell your dining room table because they are very pricey. A four foot bear was $ 300! Each bear had a lacquer finish that stood on a 6″ stump. Have trouble lifting this heavy piece of art? They even help you lift your new woody to your car! check out the photos:
