This quilt store and the owner are super friendly and so is the staff. It is a new quilt store in Big Bear, with a lot of different fabrics to choose from. They offer classes and are open to suggestions. First Fridays of the month, Belinda the owner hosts sew in and dessert on the house, when you RSVP in advance. Give this shop a try and keep our quilt stores in business by frequenting them. Fabric is expense and she’s competitive.

Such a sweet quilt shop. The ladies were so helpful with their input and advice. The store was set up with plenty of room to look around and beautiful displays. I’m not a huge quilter but I’d go again!

A wide selection of charm packs and jelly rolls with coordinating yardage. Exquisite, high-​priced quilts on the walls.
I found it to be a tad high priced. I also didn’t get a welcoming vibe.
The workroom is small and narrow. I had no idea they carried solids until after I’d made a purchase as there is another backroom.
Staff seemed new to quilting and had to go ask others for more information when I was looking for something. Owner was very condescending and wasn’t kind to her employees. Granted, it was the grand opening and she may have been stressed, but keep comments like that to the office!
Overall, I won’t be going back.

I was there this past weekend with a group of friends from LA… I found the employees lacking knowledge… each time I asked a question they had to ask someone whom I can only presume was the owner… because as we were leaving the store she was reprimanding one of those employees for doing something she wasn’t happy with. The store seemed a bit stiff and a tad high in pricing… I don’t want to feel like someone is looking down their nose at me when I enter a place of business. Other than that if you are looking for a place to just buy fabric than they have a ton of Moda Charms and Layer cakes… with yardage to match…

Big Bear now has a quality quilt store to visit. If you like visiting quilt stores when you travel, this is a must see. Recently opened on February 14, 2015, it is a warm and welcoming place with lots of fun things to look at and many more coming. Wonderful quality fabric and great patterns. Charming store with wonder help to answer any questions, even if you’re a beginner with quilting. Owner Belinda Evans’ new shop (across from Vons) is a warm and welcoming addition to the Big Bear Lake area. Best of luck Belinda and I will be visiting your store when I’m in town. Kandy
