Piccolino

This place is simply beautiful. The selection of European children’s apparel is unprecedented and the accessories (specifically, the giant gorgeous flower headbands) are stunning. I come here whenever I need a special outfit for my son or daughter for a special occasion or a family photo shoot. The customer service has always been great. Not sure what the other reviewers experience, but I am a pretty picky shopper and have never had an issue.

I work in the same building, so I thought it would be nice to shop here for my baby girl. Needless to say, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Both ladies working the store were rude and kept speaking a different language to each other, and laughing, as if they were making fun of me and my child. My baby girl, Veronica, started crying and asked me why the mean ladies were making fun of us. I could not answer her.
That isn’t even the worst part. On my way out, the male employee standing at the door blew cigarette smoke right in my face.
It was terrifying. The clothing was overpriced and I’m pretty sure they’re charging more for taxes than they’re legally allowed to charge.
Oh and for the love of God, DO NOT ask to use their restroom. Others in our building refer to them as «restroom nazis.» They’ll chew you out for even looking at their PUBLIC restrooms, of which they have several.
I wish I could give them 0 stars… AVOID THIS PLACE.

This place is not cheap and it shouldn’t be — it is located in Beverly Hills and caters to locals rather than visitors. If you are the kind of person who asks: «Why would anyone want to buy an Armani for a little kid (who will outgrow this Armani in a couple of months) for hundreds of dollars?», I am with you.
And yet… I have a 6 year old. Recently, I looked at different pictures we took over the years. Here is the interesting thing: while I shop in this place for 10% of my son’s clothing, I can find it on 80% of family pictures. I guess that when you want the kid to look VERY good on a special occasion, you naturally choose the stuff that Picollino sells.
To me, it means a lot.

Horrible customer service. Owner was rude and clothes were overpriced. I would never walk into that store again.
