Oh sweetness goodies! The only thing I wasn’t super fond of was the oreo… the original oreos are better, other than that their other stuff is amazing!

5 star pastries; 3 star coffee for a average of 4. Grab a pastry and head up the street to El Fornio for your latte.

cute packaging. great bread. love the French macaroons. not a nice as the location in Yountville but I was pleased to find one out here in Southern California. plus it’s still larger than the location in Las Vegas, which is more of a small area in the middle of the palazzo. everything is made fresh daily. French snacks done right ;)

Real close to 5 stars for Bouchon bakery, minus one for the tiny location, small selection and prices that keep you from buying one of everything (ok maybe that’s a good thing, my waistline just chimed in) Anyways, line out the door, coffee looked good, will keep that in mind for next time. I went with the coconut chocolate beignet and the better butter(nutter butter) cookie at just over $ 4 each. Well the $ 4 cookie turned out to be one of the best desserts I have ever eaten, so much that I could actually justify buying it again, and again. Two soft, peanut butter cookies filled with a peanut butter cream, it was divine, I tell you. The beignet also great, though the chocolate coconut filling was a bit off, I wouldn’t bother with that again. Service was excellent, everything was packaged well, the courtyard outside is perfect for a latte and dessert, I will be back for more!

I love french macaroons, but after going to this place, my macaroon standards are so high! I love the salted caramel flavor and the espresso flavor. The peanut butter and jelly macaroon has REAL peanut butter and jelly. I love how they have giant sized macaroons. I love this place. When I found it I was so excited! Too bad they don’t have more locations.

Always a favorite stop for macaroons. get the small versions! The raspberry ganache was amazing and might be my favorite macaroon at the moment, pistachio and earl gray are always my go-to choices and done well here.

Dear God in heaven please help now that I know this place exists. The macarons are surely the best I have every had and the croissants are redonks. Had some kind of pastry butter something that made me want to drive my car off a cliff, because I don’t think anything could get better in life. Soooo yummy. Not cheap, but who cares. The staff is terrifically well trained — it felt like the Ritz Carlton as a pop-up bakery. For such a small stand, they had a great selection. Bouchon and Bar Bouchon are right there, too. Stop in for a meal at either place, the food is beyond, beyond. I also saw Thomas Keller while I was there.

Je vais prendre pain au chocolat, un macaron de pistache, trois bouchons, un tarte de chocolat, avec café au lait, s’il vous plait. I ordered all this but only consumed the pain au chocolat and café au lait for my breakfast, then the macaron and a bouchon for lunch, another bouchon for tea time snack and then for dinner the chocolate tarte and the last bouchon. My entire day was patisserie/chocolat based. Are you there PMS? It’s me, Namella. OK, so Thomas Keller of the über-famous and super-renowned French Laundry is a demi-god in the pantheon of great celebrity chefs like Ferran Adria, Jose Andres, Grant Achatz, Daniel Boulud, David Myers(who I almost worked for– darn!), Jean-George Vongerichten, Eric Ripert, David Chang and a whole slew of other notables that even I can name off. He is renowned for his Cali-spin on French cuisine using seasonal ingredients and holds 3 Michelin stars. The man is a genius and this is a treat that I can enjoy all by my little self. This pop up is a tiny little stand with excellent morsels of ultra luxurious baked perfections. I would rather have this than sex. It is THAT good.

While I realize this was a «pop up» the selection was quite poor compared to those in New York, Las Vegas, or Yountville. As Bouchon upstairs and Bar Bouchon obviously have highly functional kitchens I’d wonder why such a poor showing. I realize Los Angeles is all about the«pop up» concept currently — just as they were about the food truck before that caught on — but I’m uncertain as to why Chef Keller would commit to doing something like this if he wasn’t going to do it up right. Ideally Los Angeles will get its own Bouchon Bakery in the future because if this is supposed to suffice then they are getting ripped off.

Bouchon Bakery Pop-up is only going to be at Bouchon for the month of December. Bakery hours are from 11:30am-7:30pm. All confections are baked in-house by pastry chef Sharon Wang, come by to sample the likes of bouche de noel panettone, snowflake shortbread, peppermint bark, those signature chocolate bouchons, plus granola, coffee, even foie gras dog biscuits! DMTB and I found out about Bouchon Bakery Pop-up thru a food blog, and we’re both all about the pop-ups right now(hence the fanatic Ludo following). So we decided to have dinner at Bouchon upstairs, then carry away from goodies for dessert. Located at the base of the stairs on the first floor of the Bouchon building, one really can’t miss the little shop while walking to and from Bouchon upstairs. December is all about the food — the sweet and the savory. So considering that both of us indulged on the delicious savory — we «needed» to balance it out with some sweets. We picked up the Shortbread and the Chocolate Bouchons. Not cheap confections by any means — however, because I’m a baker myself, I can really tell the preparation and care that these confections went through. I highly recommend stopping by the lil bakery to pick up some holidays treats. I’m certainly hoping that a permanent Thomas Keller Bouchon Bakery gets added soon.
