As I mentioned in my prior review for the Parlour, in the local area there are I don’t know but probably close to a dozen little Italian places all peddling more or less the same stuff and to be honest I’m not sure we needed another and I’m not sure that this place has really done anything since they’ve been open to differentiate themselves from the pack. Over the past year I’ve placed a few take out orders and a delivery order via Grub Hub for a few different things but never for pizza as I’ve got my place for that and I’m not going against it. My two overriding issues here are that seemingly they don’t use enough cheese on things and a good number of menu items are overpriced by a good dollar or two over what most others are charging. Nice if you’re putting out a superior product to justify that but to me everything here is very middle of the pack. The mozz sticks are decent enough but are priced a solid dollar over what pretty much everyone else charges for the exact same thing. The chicken cheese steak comes light on cheese and heavy on the sauce even though both times I’ve ordered it I asked for no sauce because to me red sauce on a cheese steak is just wrong. The meatball parm was also light on the cheese although the meatballs themselves were excellent. Probably the best thing on the menu are the curly fries. They’re damn good whether by themselves or covered with cheese or covered with cheese and bacon. While the delivery order was certainly completed fast enough and any take out orders were always ready when they were supposed to be, at the core it’s all about the food and to me anything I’ve ordered here while alright could have been had elsewhere like Rosanna’s, Nick’s, Broad Street Pizza or at Carl’s Corner with better quality and/or for a better price.

I really love the food at the Bethlehem Parlor… Absolutely delicious and it is easy to tell they prepare it with fresh ingredients. The service is excellent, the staff is always extremely kind and helpful when I come in. Excellent pizza parlor!

Nice little place. Clean and comfortable for a pizza joint. Didn’t try the pizza but the gelato is excellent and the service is helpful and friendly.

Eaten here a few times… its pizza. Never had many meals, only a few different types of their pizza. It was good, nothing to rave about. It’s good enough to continue to order from here since it is the closet pizza shop to our apt. Wouldn’t drive out of my way to go here.

The place was not busy when we went. We waiting a long time for the take out. The pizza was under cooked to the point it was dough. The fries were not cooked and were cold. We had to take the entire order and put it into the oven for 30 minutes. The point of eating out is not to cook. I would avoid this place and save yourself the aggravation. Several people have had the same experience.

I’ve had take out pizza from here a bunch of times when I’m in Bethlehem visiting family. I enjoy the thin pizzeria style pizza, back on Michigan our pizza is very different. The pizza has always been very tasty and cooked perfectly, never soggy or burnt. I also enjoy their gelato. We picked up some chocolate, strawberry and peanut butter and it was refreshing and delicious!

We ordered delivery and got a large plain pizza. It was pretty good. But we also ordered a penne with marinara and meatballs. The pasta was gummy had horrible texture. There was hardly any sauce on the pasta. Then the meatballs were a nice size, but were basically ground beef balls with no flavor at all. They tasted as if they had been freezer burned or something. Pizza yes, pasta thumbs down.

What can you say. $ 6 for two slices of Sicilian and a soda. Pretty good slice but nothing to write home about. Would do it again. And maybe get some frozen treats

Always fast delivery. Large Plain Pizza– the sauce was a bit plain but otherwise decent. 6pc Hot Wings were very small considering the price Curly cheese fries were perfect. Prices are a little higher then most but free delivery is always a plus. I order maybe once or twice a month and will continue. Still haven’t tried gelato but would be cool if they delivered it.

best service and amazing food! first time going tonight and i will be back! I had the meatball sub and my boyfriend had chicken parm sandwich and it was incredible curly fries were the best I have ever had ! And the pickles just topped it off.(I’m a big pickle fan) they were legitimately incredible. We are right down the road and we will definitely be back. If you want a modern family style pizza place this is IT.

Ordered lunch here because they dropped menus off at my office. I got the«Chiken» Monterey sandwich. The Chiken(as they call it) was almost all breading and WAYY overdone, it was crunchy like chips!!! There was hardly any Monterey Jack cheese and the ranch dressing was the only thing that made the sandwich half edible. …got an order of pierogies too, Mrs. T’s/frozen, you can’t go wrong with those, so those were the only plus to my lunch. Total cost: $ 13. :( Wouldn’t try this place again unfortunately.

This place needs more credit. Physically, the interior space is nice. Good atmosphere for lunch or dinner with family. And the workers have been nothing but friendly in my several trips there. The pizza is good, and that’s their specialty in addition to their gelato(still need to try that). The sandwiches are just OK. Not a huge fan of the bread. But that’s not why you go here. For a good pie in West Bethlehem, this place has it.

Really, really, really almost just okay. Pretty awful set up, poor management and service and food i wouldn’t even consider«restaurant food». The atmosphere is so new and«trendy» it feels like it’s trying to trick you into thinking that it’s good. The pizza was nothing special. No better than Broad St. Pizza or Marlo’s and not even in the same category as Westgate, Penn or Lehigh. Honestly? I’m a purist, but i would order Papa Johns before I called in here. They it took forever for our food to arrive and they do it in front of you… They don’t even try to hide that it’s frozen or stored or whateverthehell. My one biggest, most Passionate complaint is that they don’t even give you WATER. i Ordered water for my table and they gave me individual cups and charged me for every. one!!! If you’re in the restaurant business … well… if you’ve ever BEEN to a restaurant you know that’s just bad business. Sure each cup cost like $ 0.15 but A. that’s a choice you’re making to use crappy paper cups [especially surrounded by Beautiful wood and wicked steampunk lights] and B. it’s a price you can pay for not pissing your customers off. It’s a price you could pay for avoiding this review! because… C. A good restaurant doesn’t make your money off of petty charges on paper cups and tap water. It makes it off of fair prices for good food and consistent customers who want to see you and your business thrive.

This place has quickly become my favorite pizza joint. We usually come by later, which is 8 or 9 for this place because they close pretty early for a pizza shop. We’ve tried a number of pies and usually get a margarita pie with one or two toppings. This type of pizza is very finicky when it comes to toppings and will get soggy quickly. Try one topping the first time. The pie is saucy and chewy with some crispness underneath. Traditional pies are very good, the brick oven gives them a unique texture. I would have preferred to have seen a coal oven on there but it is still good. As the evening moves on, more and more people come in for the gelato. People seem to like it.

Ok First off this joint is spacious and giant and shutter… QUIET… Quiet because it was empty ?! Is it empty because of it’s location you can enter off of Broad St but you can’t exit that way ? Is it empty because it’s dark and divey like ? My wife and I shared a small Espresso Gelato with Espresso beans in it and it was wonderful ! WONDERFUL ! We will be going back for more Gelato ! The Gelato is made by their brother Restaurant Stefano’s and it’s on par with getting Ice Cream at the Bethlehem Dairy(aka the Cup) THE place in the Valley to get ice cream. So.Clean and empty. I sure hope they start hopping with business. They seem to get a steady traffic of take out. but perhaps if their design element was more vibrant and colorful more people would go? I don’t Know. Ice Cream/Pizza Parlour cries out for round stools, a Jukebox and a kid giving me ice cream wearing a paper hat ! Ok I tried the other half of the parlour. A ridiculously greasy stromboli and one of the cheapest grossest salads. The lettuce tasted old, the olives tasted tinny and canned and the tomatoes and onions were on the verge of spoilage. Even though the Gelato was AMAZING. I just can’t see coming back.
