Suki is still the master — from blunt cut styles, bangs, grown out bangs, highlights, to permanent soft waves that can be worn air dry or blown out for a polished work day look. I’m always still amazed by her mastery of my very fine hair. Note though that haircut with wash and style runs $ 60 nowadays. She is totally worth it, I’ve NEVER gone wrong in her hands, and somehow my hair styles still stay in great shape in between visits, which only run every 3 – 6 months.

Suki rocks because she opened early this morning to accommodate my work schedule! And I got another great cut, as usual. I hadn’t seen her since February so I was long overdue, though it was growing out fairly well still. She is a sculptor with hair!

Suki knows hair. I discovered her after my other hair stylist suddenly decided he didn’t want to continue cutting hair,(after 10 years — ouch.) Suki is also very accommodating, and will sometimes stay late so that I can make an appointment. What I think sets Suki above the rest is her ability to see the specific hair growth patterns that each individual has, and cut their hair accordingly. She’s done a great job each time I’ve made a visit. She’s a breath of fresh air in a sea of Super-Cut trained stylists.

Saw the rave reviews so I went and she was cool, but my layers are not growing out very well. Not worth the $ 50. Cash only btw.

Wish I could give a 6 star if I could but Suki is an excellent senior hair stylist! Her style is my style, very modern, and chic! She has an artistic background and vidal sassoon training. I can be picky when it comes to my hair style but I feel pretty safe trying a different style with her instead of same ol’ I just cut a semi-mullet hair with lots of layers and I really like it. She takes time to listen to what I want and does what she does best. I like how she doesn’t just cut your hair the way you think will turn out well, instead she recommends what will look better for your face type and head shape. Some of my friends just want to go for cheaper places but they’re always left unhappy and so have I and have to wait until the next cut. I’m a frugal spender too but I’m all for paying a bit more if it will get me a happy hair. You get a $ 10 off the first time then $ 55 afterwards. I’ve been to places that ask for $ 80. min for a senior stylist so Suki is affordable compared to other senior stylists in bay area. The only caveat is the location. It’s hard to find, because it’s on the second floor and not at street level. You can miss it easily. I hope people will soon discover Suki’s talent and good eye.

Tired of the $ 14 «Chinatown» style haircuts… you know the type, when you tell them you want to try to grow it out a bit and try something new, then they say«OK,» and proceed to cut it the only way they know how, and you end up looking exactly like you did the last time? Well Suki is totally the opposite of that. She’s takes her time, and as an artist, has a good eye for what will flatter your face. I’ll definitely be back. Plus, if you walk in off the street, you get $ 10 off your haircut. $ 40 bucks for an awesome haircut, and she is totally fun to talk with! What more could you want.
