We had the great pleasure of having TransFix work on my wife’s Volvo XC90. Darwin and the crew went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied. When was the last time a mechanic brought out all the used parts they replaced? that practice doesn’t happen at the dealership…

Absolutely fantastic shop! I take my 2004.5 Volvo S40 here all the time and Darwin is the Volvo MASTER! I have had nothing but amazing experiences every time I have had my car in the shop. Prices are dirt cheap compared to other shops, work is completed quickly and thoroughly, and their customer service is ace. I’m always called before the work is started with an estimate, I’m always called if anything else pops up during the service, and I’m always called when the work is completed. 5⁄5 every time for this shop, I wouldn’t take my S40 anywhere else if my life depended on it.

BAD Experience. Owner installed a defective rebuilt transmission into my truck. Knowing that there was a problem he nonetheless released the truck to me after a charging me $ 3,000. In less than a year I had to have the transmission he installed rebuilt (elsewhere) due to defective overdrive clutch assembly to the tune of another $ 2,000. Although under warranty he refused to honor the warranty. I originally went to this shop due to positive reviews but sorely regret this decision. Bad product, bad workmanship, bad experience.

Love these guys! My husband and I bought our own parts to change out the brakes and rotors on our motorhome and despite being brought in, they still changed them out, no problem! Both guys we talked to were very knowledgeable, friendly and understanding when it came to our situation which made us very happy with our choice of shop. A sweet cherry on top was after having to order a couple of extra parts they charged only charged us a hundred dollars flat. So honestly, we have to agree this is the best shop we’ve been through in years and wished we lived in the area to get all of our future work done at this great shop with even better mechanics!

I was told by the «oil change guys» that my car was due for transmission service. A friend recommended Trans-​Fix. I called an made an appointment. It’s in an odd location, near the BendBroadband office off Empire Ave. But the guy on the phone gave me good directions and I found the shop easily.
While they worked on my car I returned to work, and they called to let me know when it was ready. Everything went smoothly!
The owner of Trans-​Fix is a hoot. He has a really great sense of humor and is fun to talk to.
