Rent to own places are never a good idea.
However, for whatever reason, I decided to get a washer and dryer set from here.
2 years, and $ 2500.00 later I own the set. But it wasn’t without being harassed several times due to «late payment» when in fact the due date wasn’t until the 15^th. We had the due date changed from the 1^st to the 15^th prior to these calls. They’d call on the 3^rd of the month nearly every month. Don’t ignore them either or they’ll call your references! Many times I told them to come and pick the set up and take it back because it wasn’t worth being harassed. They didn’t, they just wanted money. I never missed a month’s payment, ever. I was so glad when I finally paid them off, it was pure relief. I’ve never been in jail before, but I imagine it was the equivalent of being released from jail. *deep breath*
I could’ve bought the same set BRAND NEW, and OUTRIGHT for about $ 1000.00.
Hind-​sight is ²⁰⁄₂₀ though.
If you can hold off, save your money, do whatever you gotta do and go to a store and buy whatever you’re looking for outright. Don’t mess with the mumbo-​jumbo from Aarons.
