YIKES! Stay away from Mediacom! Absolutely horrible service. If a technician has to come out it will take them 5 – 10 days to get to you every time and they can never figure out the problem. Their only solution is to tell you to «reset» your box which we’ve become experts at doing and solves nothing. Mediacom is crap. AVOIDATALLCOSTS!!!

Horrible internet, super slow… we have to restart it every 20mins when we are using it. Cable sucks too… very little on demand in HD. Basically no HD ondemad. When I called to complain I was told«yeah, that sucks. I hate it too». Miserable. So frustrated we are looking into satellite and other options.

DONOTSIGNUP! I have basic and it’s $$ expensive, no channel station, so you have to flip through all the stations for find out what’s on. Over Christmas weekend(4 days) my TV looked like it was 1966 and we had rabbit ears on. Couldn’t get through to anyone, just went to a recording about the service being interupted because of the storm. ITWAS A 6INCHSNOWFALL!!! This is not Key West FL, it’s northern Illinois, it snows in the winter. Purchased a $ 70 digital indoor antenna from Wal Mart and thought it was great. Plan on cancelling my service today.
