We stopped here for lunch on our way from Austin back to Dallas. It was a better choice than greasy fast food, but average as a Mexican restaurant. I had a cheese chile relleno. Some of the lettuce was brown and the cheese in the middle wasn’t cooked. The salsa was fresh and good, though, and the service was friendly. Not sure I’d agree with the review that the queso was the best ever, but it was okay.

Food is solid, but after buying 7.01 of food at the drive thru, my card was run for 10.01. The $ 3 isn’t worth going back for, but keep an eye on your card receipt. With as much high quality tex mex and Mexican as there is in the area, there is no plan to return here after my initial experience.

5 stars for sure! Coming from Dallas where Mexican food restaurants are everywhere we’ve lived in Fort Hood for about a year no luck finding a great place to eat for Mexican food! This place makes me feel like home! The food was amazing service was great and it’s not too far from base! Highly HIGHLY recommend this place if you are wanting great Mexican food! Fed myself, my husband, and our son for $ 25!

Good standard Mexican food well prepared tasted good especially like the salsa housemaid very fresh delicious free chips and salsa is always a plus. I came in at 8:30PM Sunday night they’re about ready to close but they welcomed me anyway and cook me dinner I had the skirt steak with the cheese Insalata it was served with Mexican Rice and refried beans and cheese they also served it with three beautiful sick soft white flour tortillas fresh made and hot from the grill. I cut my skirt steak up some lettuce and guacamole and rice and beans and cheese and rolled it tasted very good the enchilada was also tasty. Very much appreciated the service friendly and quick I recommend this place

Pulled off the highway to try Miller BBQ. Guess what it’s Monday and they are closed. Next stop Jalisco. Better than expected: Looks like a converted DQ or something, still has a functioning drive thru. The menu is fairly large and the prices are very reasonable. No beer though. Chips are crisp and not standard out of the bag. The salsa is tasty but lacking heat, really gringo. The Tampiquena is skirt steak with choice of enchilada, rice, beans and guacamole. The food arrives quickly and is served on a hot plate. The meat was tasty, a tad chewy like real skirt steak is. Properly cooked to medium rare. The enchilada was pretty standard but the cheese was very stretchy and a bit difficult to manage. The refried beans are awesome, A+. The rice was very good. The tortillas served with the meal were flour. This place has some other things to try such as barbacoa. Solid Tex-Mex, worth a visit.

I love their chicken quesadilla. The serving is large enough that my spouse & I split a plate. I like the chips & salsa, too. Enchiladas are yummers, but their chicken quesadilla is the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. Nothing fancy or spectacular about the ambiance or décor– just good food.

Salsa is fresh and not too spicy. Fajitas are enough for 2 – 3 people, cheese enchiladas are great. Good food, good price.

Excellent food and fast service. They have an extensive menu(and lengthy American food page for those who don’t partake, like many children). The large bowl of salsa they bring out for free at the beginning is worth it alone.

We have searched the Killeen, Harker Heights, Belton areas trying to find reasonably tasty mexican and have been disappointed OVER and OVER again. Jaliscos was the first place in the this area that my wife and I have truly enjoyed. Good Salsa(although I liked it more than my wife… a bit heavy on cilantro), a solid fajita, and good enchiladas. Overall, and very good dining experience. Only downside… no margaritas(because no alcohol.)

The food was amazing! And great customer services as well. If you are looking for some good authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go! It may have been my first visit but defiantly will be going back soon for more and I will be recommending it to all my friends and family. They say first impressions are important and they made a great one! Its small but cozy and a nice family atmosphere. Theres something for everyone to enjoy even for the picky eaters.

We were in town for the State 4H Dog Show. Our group wanted tacos for dinner and Jaliscos delivered. I called and asked for enough taco meat to feed 30 people. They said no problem and charged us $ 75 for a big tray of taco meat. The entire group loved it! Thanks Jaliscos!

Modest décor and dining room, but the food makes up for what is lacking in ambiance. I had the chile relleno and thought it was good.(With great sweet tea!) My husband had the Tex Mix Fajitas and they were good, as well. The shrimp on top were exceptional! My kids had the chicken enchiladas(fair, according to her), beef chimichanga(amazing, according to her), and the Tex-Mex Enchiladas(good, according to him). The chips and salsa were great– warm chips are always nice! Overall, easily 4 stars. 5 goes to restaurants that have a unique dish I can’t make myself at home or something typical done so well that you tell your friends about it– nothing like that here, but the food was worth the mention.

Great salsa, service. Lunch was great. Enchiladas and tacos as good as I’ve ever had. Definitely will return.

This is our families favorite Mexican restaurant. The building isn’t fancy but the food is very good. The kids eat chimichangas every time. We have had the lunch specials often– they are inexpensive. There is a good deal of food and it is good. We will go back.

Delicious. First mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, where you have to tell them to stop bringing you their delicious chips and salsa. I had the chicken burrito special. Some of the best chicken I’ve ever eaten in a burrito.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner-I really like this and it’s cousin that serves beer(down 317 by the cleaners and Clem Mikeskas). You could say it’s what you think of when you think Tex Mex. Real good, prices are right on too. Just watch out for the chips and salsa-very habit forming!

Unilocalers, this is a good stop for a southbound road trip(Dallas to Austin) that’s something different from BBQ. Just a block off the highway makes this better than drive through Wendy’s. The place was packed with locals and we found ourselves there on Halloween and even saw diners dressed for later festivities. The service was quick, and easy to make changes on the standard menu(I ordered Queso on my enchiladas and my companion ordered his enchiladas made with flour tortillas over corn. It’s not great, but definitely worth trying for a change.

Breakfast– 8÷10÷13 I ordered a chorizo omelet. Dry and tasteless. Opened up the omelet and found the chorizo to be burned. Waitress came by and I told her of the problem. She apologized and removed the plate, asked if she could get me anything else. I said«no thanks, I’m ready to leave.» A different person came back with the bill and said there was a 30% discount. I said that my plate should not be on the bill because your chorizo is burned. She said«that’s the way it’s supposed to be». Because of this establishments’ business practice, I will never walk through their doors again to find out if the rest of the menu is as good as the rest of the reviews say it is.

This place is typical Tex-Mex. It was everything I expected when eating here. The chips were fresh and not in the least greasy, and the salsa hot but still had good flavor. My partner and I both ordered the same lunch special for $ 5.99(one cheese enchilada, one beef taco, rice and refried beans). The taco had good flavor, the enchilada sauce was very good, the refried beans had a hint of smokiness to them and were delis. The rice was a little disappointing, but not inedible. As far as service goes, we were promptly waited on and the service was spot on. That’s all I had to do was think about getting my iced tea refilled and it was done. Would I eat here again? Sure I would.
