Worst meth at any motel in Bellingham. Now that the aloha is gone, what is a tweaker to do? I can’t afford to go to mt. Vernon every day, and I sold my tires for some aloha gold. Oh well, the place is super clean and everyone who works there is respectful, courteous, and does their job with the upmost professionalism.

This is the place to stay for a night or two. The owners take very much pride in their family business, over all the staff and owners are very friendly and nice, over all they have grate people skills and are very kid friendly. I have to say that the rooms are very clean clean and all the rooms are none smoking and nice the beds are very comfortable and clean. They take much pride in keeping this place well kept up with no drama and drug free. I’d chose to stay here over other places and this is in a great location and right on a bus line and walking distance to the store and a park right around the corner. My family are very happy with our stay.

Lions Inn is a older motel that is in the final stages of renovation and upgrading. Price is good for the area and it is located in a good part of town. Customer service is great, friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the room and had a great stay! Points to watch for: Currently their website advertises rooms as having queen size beds… the bed in our room was full size. The beds are on wheels and the floor is wood laminate — good for cleaning the rooms, bad for trying to sit up in bed as the bed will roll. Non smoking — I specifically inquired about smoking /non smoking as the smoke bothers us. I was assured on the phone at the time of reservation that all rooms were non smoking and newly renovated so no issues…(and of course there is the WA State Law that prohibits smoking within 25′ of a door or window…) When we arrived some doors had NONSMOKING signs on them others did not. There were ashtrays in front of almost every door. Our room had an ashtray half full of cigarette butts sitting right in front of the door. Saw several people sitting in the chairs next to their doors or in their doorways smoking. — Management was super OK with this — hey their motel, their renovation, their decision… BUT… it was a turn off for me, and may affect the rooms later on.

This place was a great little gem we found, would not hesitate to stay here again. The room was clean with a nice tv, and I liked the choice of a hardwood floor over carpet. Nice place. Next time I will make my reservations here before it gets too late, because they were kind enough to accommodate us! We could have missed out on this room in a few mins as ALL other hotels in the area were booked! Hit this place up for a room any time you need a place to sleep in Bellingham!(This area is so beautiful in the summer!) The operator was a gentleman even after he spent 19 hours that day remodeling/running the place and in the morning again a genuinely nice vibe with clean rooms!

A dive bomb with wife and mother –in –law lost major points, first of all in looking at other reviews it appeared to be okay, not so he somehow jacked the price up to $ 84 dollars on a $ 60 dollar room(If that) musty hair all over. Two full size lumpy beds, No Coffee wow. The list could. go on Don’t come here

The owner Nick is super-nice; friendly, helpful, aims to please. The hotel is about what you’d expect for around $ 60/night. Nothing fancy, no extras. But we could tell that care is taken to make it as comfortable as possible. Room-clean. TV-worked. Bathroom-spotless and newly reno’d. Bed-soft but clean. Smell-overpowering air-freshener to cover up stale smoke. Very quiet neighbourhood except for the trains but in Bellingham they’re never far away, it seems. We stayed here cause it was close to downtown where we’d be going to have drinks in the evening… we could walk there in about 30 minutes. For lazy types the hotel is on a bus route. Thanks Nick!
