Some children’s sports teams were staying at the hotel and the staff let them run wild all night without intervening. The main function of a hotel is providing somewhere to sleep. It’s really hard to sleep with kids running up and down the halls, screaming, with a few adults yelling at them to go to their rooms or be quieter(to no effect).

I was here last month for a race and booked the room online from a 3rd party. My stay was great! Location is a short 5mins drive to downtown Bellingham(which is where I spent most of my weekend). It can be a slight pain to turn left out of the inn’s lot and then the next few blocks can be really slow due to congestion of folks wanting to get to the freeway, but that’s no fault of the inn. There is lots of shopping along the way from the inn to the freeway. Parking lot had plenty of spots and I was able to park near the front entrance each time. The lobby was super clean and I saw at least 1 person there any time I walked by, who greeted me. There is usually 2 when it’s a peak check in/check out time, which I appreciate. Check in at 3pm and check out at 12pm. I asked the person assisting me(sorry, did not catch his name) for a late check out and he offered me 1pm, which was perfect. While checking in, he offered up 2 room options for me. I asked for the quieter one and we had a short discussion before deciding on a first floor room that was not connected to another room. The hallways were nice, didn’t hear much sound from the occupied rooms as I walked by. I took a peek at the workout room and the pool area and they looked clean and modern(did not use either). There are vending machines and the ice machine along the way. The room was really nice and comfortable! Spacious for 1 bed(I think it was a king). It had FOUR pillows. There is a dorm-sized fridge/freezer and microwave in the tv cabinet. The bathroom had a hair drier and coffee maker. The tv had a random selection of local and national channels. I didn’t stay in my room long but would flip through some channels when I was in for the night. The shower had a good pressure and hot water. I had plenty of towels for myself and the toiletries set felt good, didn’t irritate my skin at all. The bed was super comfortable(I enjoyed my four pillows) and the sheets were soft. I didn’t really hear any of my neighbors during the night which is always a plus. The morning complimentary breakfast was simple but did the trick. I helped myself to scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits&gravy, and OJ before taking everything back to my room. There were cereal, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and a waffle maker available too. Checking out was easy. I was so grateful for the late check out since I knew I couldn’t finish my race and get back here before noon. That extra hour made a huge difference. Thanks so much for the wonderful service and stay! If I’m ever back in Bellingham, I’ll gladly stay at the Comfort Inn again.

We had a power outage that lasted several days, so we went into town desperate for a place to stay with running water and electricity. The first few places had no power either, but the Comfort Inn still had room for us and was surprisingly affordable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the accommodations were great. We used the pool and jacuzzi every day we stayed, and enjoyed the usual breakfast bar every morning. The staff was polite and helpful, and our overall stay was a nice unexpected vacation. Note for Disabled: Reasonably accessible, has its own parking lot.

Pretty nice place — clean & comfortable. We booked our weekend before the power went out & the place got CROWDED. There was only one person the entire weekend — very understaffed hotel. They kept telling people a manager would show up in 30 minutes(literally, all day) but no manager ever showed. NODVD players or ways to plug into TV but they do have fridges + microwaves. AAA discount.

I have been there for just two nights, but I noticed that some of my cloths are gone!!! That’s soo wired! I even ask them to find it for me and they just told me that there is nothing in lost and found!

The nicest Comfort Inn I have stayed in so far… A very clean and well-kept property. From the parking area to the bathroom everything was, clean, new and well taken care of. A very pleasant atmosphere. No musty or cover agents smells. Quality air ventilation systems in the rooms. I couldn’t find one thing wrong during my 2 day stay. Great water pressure in bathrooms and beds are very comfortable. The staff very friendly. Initially dealt with the front desk agent Kristy. She is was very nice and helpful and even went out of her way– stopping me to ask if we were happy with our stay prior to my departure. I spoke with two housekeepers… again very happy showing positive attitudes. Everyone appeared happy to be working there and the property shows it. I have to think this place has a great ownership team. A great selection of food served for breakfast. The breakfast area was extremely clean and the attendant very on task, upbeat and helpful. Almost forgot, they also have food and ice cream available anytime in a refrigerated case by the front desk. This is a no brainer stay for anyone looking for a great, quality place to stay in Bellingham. Especially at the rate.

I got this hotel through Hotwire, but the regular rates are pretty good, too. It’s a great deal for your money. The bed was comfortable, shower was nice, and everything was really clean. Didn’t take advantage of the pool, but families seemed like they were enjoying it. I also liked how quiet things were. No road traffic and we couldn’t really hear people in other rooms or in the hallway. Breakfast is good as far as hotel breakfasts go. Lots of hot options(waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, etc.) and the woman managing the breakfast area was really friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

AWESOME hotel, very reasonably priced. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The breakfast is a little lacking but there’s lots of restaurants around the area. The indoor pool and sauna are a nice touch. The front desk staff are super friendly and knowledgable about the area. I wish I could work here!

It’s your standard clean comfortable chain motel, conveniently located. Staff helpful and friendly. Modest gripes so far: the heater is the usual noisy wall thing with two fan settings, Loud and Jet Engine; and the wifi, while free, was so slow at times to be unusable and I’m typing this in an iPad tethered to my jailbroken iPhone which is using LTE. BTW to connect a tablet or smartphone, after joining the unsecured wifi, you must open a web browser to login, then you can use it. Breakfast is good but lacks plain(sugar-free) yogurt and cereal choices.

This Comfort Inn is SOSOSO much better than the last one in which I was a guest: Surprise, Arizona. The Arizona one seemed old and tired; this one in Bellingham seems modern. It’s certainly clean, and the desk staff has been very friendly. Comfort Inn breakfasts are pretty bad, especially the eggs(yuk!). If better, I’d give Comfort Inn an even higher score.

Arriving just south of the US /Canada Border to a nearly sold out hotel, we enjoyed our stay. This hotel caiters to international travelers with many insignia in both standard and metric measurements and comments. The sauna was awesome and the indoor pool and spa were great and well ventilated and didn’t smell like chlorine. Extended hours were available at the pool. After being fully refreshed from a good night’s sleep, we got to the border in 10 – 15 minutes and crossed. It was a great stay.

Put this hotel on your list of places to stay while in this area, or just need an overnight while driving up or down I5. Really fresh and clean. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rates are cheap with all the usual discounts, internet price, AAA etc. No extras for anything, free breakfast, free internet and a great pool. Location is just of the interstate, but only minutes away from downtown for great eateries and shops.
