My family own pupuserias all over in LA. I love eating their food but it’s a drive. I decided to try this restaurant close to home, and I have to say, their food is excellent! The waitress gave us great service, despite of how busy she was working the floor all in her own, on a Sunday morning. I would totally come back.

Great food! Pupusas were full of cheese and beans. The masa was perfectly crisped on the outside and soft in the middle. Huevos rancheros has a very flavorful sauce. Casamientos was excellent. The waitress works really hard. She is working the whole floor by herself, so be patient. Although she is completely overwhelmed, she is nice and gets the job done. I have to say this, my mother-in-laws pupusas are better, however these are the best I’ve had in a long time.

Authentic Salvadoran food doesn’t get any better than this. Highly recommend the Morenita plate #1 which has a little bit of everything. Two pupusas, casamiento, pastelitos, platanos fritos, and a Salvadorean chicken tamale. I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always consistently great.

So far we have come back twice. At first try pupusas on the small size little filling. Same with tamales. Big 4 stars on the 2 soups, pollo and res big«yummy»!!! Breakfast was on the blab and service very slow. Food moderate warm. Not too appealing. Chorizo was very skimpy. Scrambled eggs was good. So far soup was the highlight. Good thing because I’m a Soup Fan !

Service was really slow but the food made up for it. Solid pupusas filled with yumminess! I really loved the ensalada drink. We have pupuserias at home where I am from but they don’t ever have the drink so it was a real treat while on vacation. Prices were good and big portions. Will definitely visit again!

Mal servicio!!!

Pupusas are so good, and you can’t go wrong with their prices. My wife literally can have dinner here for around 5 dollars, can’t argue with that.

Hubby and I were in the area and looking for a place to eat as the one we had originally chose was closed so we stopped here. I ordered two pupusas and an order of pastellitos. Hubby ordered four. Our food took fairly light g but I can appreciate that they were freshly made. They were pretty good. We came out of there satisfied and willing to go again another time.

Amazing! First restaurant in a long time where I was completely satisfied with everything! Small but very clean restaurant that just felt like home. Pupusas were really well cooked, tasted really fresh, and overall delicious. Really friendly staff! Will come back again!

Food is ok. Price is fair as well but service sucks. I don’t like when the waiter is rude.

I come here often because the pupusas are good. The one negative thing is their service is very slow.

I always come here to get the best pupusas in town. They taste just like the ones my mom makes at home. The food here has a certain taste lots of pupuserias have lost. Seems like they make everything fresh. My Sopa de pollo was delicious this last time with home made Salvadoran tortillas, the chicken was seasoned with mustard to grill, fresh bomb tasting rice and real refried beans. The broth was healthy and tasty as well. My Tamarindo drink taste like real Tamarindo fruit and I did ask… They make it fresh. Not to mention the the service was perfect. Very friendly staff. Dope cumbias too lol.

Oh my word!!! I ordered the fish soup and morenita plate and they are both incredibly yummy! I was excited to see that they sell plantains on the plate because I absolutely LOVE them! I HIGHLY recommend this place and will definitely frequent it.

The pupusas are great, all the ingredients are fresh and you can actually see a lady making them as people place their orders. Service was great, food came out pretty fast and one thing that stood out to me was the menu. I noticed that they had a plate called the«Morenita plate», it reminded me of Olive Gardens tour of Italy. Except this was a tour of El Salvador. The plate had my favorite Salvadorean foods like, pupusas, pasteles, a tamale, platanos and casamiento. The plate was huge and the food was delicious. I also tried a pupusa de arroz, and it is now my favorite, I will most likely go back and try the other«Morenita dishes».I highly recommend that you try this plate. I also noticed that lots of people would walk in and pick up pupusas by the dozens, so i guess you can place a phone order to save time.

Pupusas’ were not greasy. The cheese and bean pupusa was delicious. I also ordered a mix that had pork, beans, and cheese, but I didn’t taste the pork. Not sure if it was in there. But overall the food was pretty good.

Soooo glad I don’t have to drive to far now for good pupusas. This food easily stands with any of the local«great» Salvadorian food joints.

My coworker and I had quite the lunch adventure the other day. We first attempted to go to a new breakfast place down the street from here, but they were closed that day. Then we tried to go to a soul food place nearby, but my parking skills(or lack thereof) forced us to leave that establishment, cause I could not figure out how to get in the tiny lot or parallel park… I know, I need to get it together. So, we had now wasted about 20 minutes of our lunch break, and he suggested we try this new Pupuseria across the street. I’d never had pupusas, but I am always up to trying something new. I am so glad he suggested this place, because I have found some new favorite food! The people who work here are super friendly. They said they had been open just a couple weeks. All the food is made fresh when you order it, so expect to wait a little but for your food. It’s worth the wait though. I ordered a Queso con Frijoles Pupusa and an order of Pastelitos. My coworker ordered three different pupusas. The food arrived and we dug in. I was glad to have my coworker with me, he showed me how you are supposed to put the cabbage on top of the pupusa and then cover it in red sauce. Without him, I would have been lost. While the pupusas look small, they are super filling. I definitely didn’t need the side order of Pastelitos, but I am glad I got those as they were delicious as well. I absolutely loved the pupusa, I also tried a bite of his Chicharron filled pupusa and it was great as well. The Pastelitos were the most delicious little chicken and veggie«pies» ever. Oh yeah, I cannot forget the Jamaica. The BEST Jamaica I have ever had. I liked it so much I bought a refill to take back to work with me. Very sweet, not tart like other Jamaicas I have had in the past. I know I will be back here. My coworker was talking to the owner about their breakfasts, and he said he will probably stop in and pick up breakfast for us some day. I am looking forward to that!
