It’s been a long time since I’ve had pupusas this delicious! They were so good everyone ate them including my picky kids. They were paper thin either, they were thick and with plenty of filling! For only being $ 1 each, I was super impressed and satisfied!

After reading All the positive reviews, I had to try them for myself! Here you go! They are Really Good! Let me give you my feedback on Pros & Cons. PROS: You can call in your the order, and not wait for 30 min. Hand made to order. Fresh every time. The curtido is very tasty, and you get a generous amount. Decent size for $ 1. about 3 ½ in. Overall for pupusas, Great Flavor. Wednesdays you get one FREE Cons: No Utensils! No Napkins! on my TOGO order(you should not have to ask) Too expensive for one small scoop of beans, cream and a few platanos $ 8! Overall, 9 out of 10. Will be Back!

I was going to order pupusas today from my usual spot, but as I was driving down paramount Blvd from washing my car, I noticed a salvi place with a sign on the outside that said«pupusas $ 1 every day». I kept going but made a U turn to come try these cheap, $ 1 pupusas. I first parked next door which is actually a dentist only parking, and had to park in the VERYSMALL parking lot behind the restaurant. There’s only 7 parking spots, and they are very compact. I came in curious as to what to expect and the first thing I saw was that the pupusas are VERYSMALL. As for the taste, I ordered the revueltas and they are good! I ordered 8 more to go for my parents. I will definitely return with them next time.

I was not expecting this place to be good. I looked on Unilocal and it looked like a small spot but it had good reviews so we took a gamble. … and man I fell like we scored big… the popusas are so bomb. I was septal them being only $ 1 but they are work more. The fried bananas with beans and cream are good too. Even their rice. I’m most definitely coming back here.

Was so excited to see a salvadorian restaurant in my city. As a salvi it’s not too often that you find one that is a good price and good food. This has both pupusas for a dollar their small but enough to fill you up. Tried the revueltas they could use more beans and chicharron. Other than that they were still good. I also tried the queso con loroco excellent taste. The curtido and salsa were perfect. Yuca frita perfect taste that I love. Very crunchy! Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

I Unilocaled for Salvadorian food and this restaurant popped up. I drove to this place, entered and saw a colleague of mine having his lunch here. He enlightened me that this place used to be Mexico 86. He hadn’t eaten at the restaurant for a long time and was surprised to see that it was a Salvadorian place now. He said he loved the food. I asked the gentleman at the counter for his recommendation, and proceeded to order 4 pupusa’s and a Horchata. Total with tax and tip came to $ 6.80. Pros: Very inexpensive. Filling meal for under $ 7.00. Pupusa’s made fresh. Cons: Not much variety offered in the food. Horchata had nothing going on.

Amazing salvadorian food for an amazing price. Outstanding customer service. Very sweet and attentive family who owns this restaurant. Pupusas are yummy and only $ 1 everyday. You can’t beat that. The ensalada drink so fresh and tasty. My family and I go every Sunday and I’m so happy we have a salvadorian restaurant this close to our home.

Thers a reason the pupusas are for a dollar. Their alrite, I think they need to be a little more filled(revueltas). I mean c’mon only in El Salvador u can get a price like that for a delicious pupusa in some places even two. When it comes to the drinks I love them. The horchata was great real Salvadorian horachata. The ensalda was good too. Haven’t ries anything else in the menu tho. So I will definitely be back to try something else

$ 1 pupusas, I think so! Great atmosphere. Great and respectable service. Authentic as they come. Having high chairs is a plus. This place deserves more clients. Spread the word as this place is still new. Ordered pupusas, chicharrón, casamiento y tortillas hecha a mano.

My husband and I have been looking for delicious pupusas in Downey, CA let me say we have found them for just $ 1. They are fresh, cheesy. The empanadas de platano(plantain) were delicious, the horchata and ensalada is 100% Salvadorian. Family owned, friendly very welcoming place. Definitely bringing our family and friends !

So 1 dollar pupusas right? Must be the microwaveable frozen ones from the grocery story. WRONG, they actually are a decent size and filled just enough so you get the cheese in every bite. This was my second time here, both times very attentive customer service(will keep checking everything is ok with drinks and stuff while you wait for your food), and very sanitary. Every time someone leaves after dining you quickly see one of the workers wiping down the tables. As a comfort thing, while you’re paying at the cashier you can see a glimpse of the kitchen which also looks clean. Parking is on the side closest to the gas station and it’s quite small, 8 cars max maybe? TV, there’s two of them. They have cable, the televisions are usually channelled to a soccer game or a Spanish novela, they are willing to change the channel if they ask. If you’re into international sodas(I guess that’s a thing?) they have cola champagne, I’ve tried it myself. Sort of like bubble gum and something else. What I really enjoyed: when I went with my family, the adults got silverware and glasses while the kids got plasticware and disposable cups with lids Will be coming back to this place, definitely!

When it comes to eating Loroco and cheese pupusas, this is your place. Food is fresh. The plantain empanadas are great as well. Heck everything was goood. 1 dollar pupusas, dont expect agynormous ones, but the flavor is delicious. I sure hope they stay in business forever.

$ 1 Pupusas EVERYDAY! It was one of those days were we weren’t sure what to grab for take out. This place recently changed owners from Mexican to Salvadoran food. We’ve been meaning to check it out and thought today was a good day to do so. Honestly wasn’t expecting much being that the price is so cheap BUT to our surprise they are delicious! Cheesy and moist! Best in town(and I’ve tried them all nearby). Did I mention they’re only a buck! You gotta try them and spread the word, they deserve support!
