Came in early morning when it wasn’t really busy at all. Review focuses solely on the. Chicken Caesar salad. Cost was around 8.75 with tax which is expensive but why not if it is good chicken Caesar salad. I am willing to pay for good quality. However I forgot to check my order when I received it so when I had it for lunch, I was digging for chicken thinking it was maybe at the bottom of the salad to only find nothing. They forgot to the chicken in which charged me an extra dollar! I looked up online and found out that small Caesar salad without chicken is 6.99 and with chicken is 7.99. I also found out from comparing to online menu, they missed the croutons, my favorite part. Overall, I was disappointed because if chicken and croutons were in my salad, it would have tasted amazing. Sad to say, I paid an extra dollar for missing ingredients. Pros: fresh green lettuce(no wilting pieces), thin slices of parmesan and delicious piece of focaccia. Tip: always double check your order before leaving. Tip for specialty: do not forget one of the main ingredients like«chicken» when making«chicken» Caesar salad.

Excellent soups and sandwiches, and the staff is always friendly and hard-working. –Only draw back is most of their breads are too salty.

Worst salad I have ever received via delivery– will not be ordering again for my team at work. Caution to all: salads are small, only have a few squares of chicken, one small slice of avacado & the bread is hard. Do not pay $ 13 dollars for this salad!

Ordered box lunches for a business meeting. They arrived on time and texted me when the delivery driver was on their way. Each box lunch comes with a bag of chips(you don’t get to choose what kind), a cookie and an apple. No drink provided. You choose what type of sandwich. I ordered the turkey and the ham. The apples were small and hadn’t been washed. The cookies were big and were good. My boss didn’t say what he thought of his sandwich. My turkey was cut in half and tasted OK, not great, not bad. You can order online and get delivery but there’s a $ 15 charge for delivery. They also charge extra for plates and silverware. Food: 3 Service: 3

Good food — BUT… They are ill equipped to deal with the hoards of people at lunchtime. Not only are wait times excessive– meals get served out of order jumping from customer to customer. This is consistently reliable as it happens almost each time I go with a few colleagues. There is always 1 person who is left out and their food is served when everyone is almost done eating and ready to leave. Lol. And this happens without any customization of menus item. The unfortunate thing is most people would just stop coming(vote with their dollars) but in the case of bellevue there is insufficient number of places to go for lunch based on demand /volume of people.

This is by far the best place to order catered boxed lunches. The sandwiches are always hearty and fresh and they deliver when they say they will! You can order online in the morning and receive by lunchtime.

I love the location, and the food is delicious. Service is unprofessional and rude and loud. I recommend grabbing something to go and eating elsewhere. I also wouldn’t recommend ordering online because it was just a hassle, I ordered online for convenience on the bus so when I got there it would be ready. Long story short they didn’t have what I ordered online and I had already paid for it, lady up front said I can’t get a refund and that I can only get something else same price. The few times I sat down to waste time before work the employees were talking loud I can hear them from back and overheard inappropriate conversations.

Second time was the charm. Won’t be going back. All I wanted was a hot ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce. For some reason this simple sandwich proved impossible for the staff. While they were polite and looked contrite while I waited, after two tries I gave up and took the miss-made sandwich and poor-tasting chili(vegan, but I wanted something wrong and couldn’t care if they wanted to make it without meat) and left. It just wasn’t worth waiting to see if they screw it up a third time. It seems this isn’t the first time they’ve made similar mistakes to other people in my office, as it proved to be a bit of a running joke(that I wasn’t aware of). Honestly, I would recommend going elsewhere. Don’t waste your money. I wish I hadn’t.

Went in here on the day before Christmas for breakfast and of course it was pretty quiet, but in the Specialty’s style, I got a beautiful breakfast sandwich made perfectly! I actually prefer this location over the one in downtown Seattle as the sandwiches in Bellevue do not come out at the approximate temperature of the surface of the sun. This one was PERFECT! and that morning there was almost no wait, just a couple minutes. This place is definitely a favorite spot of mine for breakfast and lunch!

The cinnamon roll I just experienced was stale and full of sadness. Adding icing like a 2 year-old colors in a coloring book isn’t a good way to cover up the crappy bread part. 2 Stars because the coffee I am drinking is pretty good.

These guys are awesome. Great sandwiches and salads(my personal favorite is the spicy thai peanut salad) and not to forget, their customer service! I ordered my soup online for a later pick up but was hungry an hour earlier. Went to the café talked to the cashier she was more than happy to give me my soup right away! Also they have a cool rewards program as well!

I think I might have had lunch at Specialty’s for more than 300 times — I believe almost everyone there knows me now. :) It’s a nice place. The sandwiches are great and I’ve been ordering Roasted Turkey Sandwich for a whole year and I still love it. The soup there is pretty good as well — try their clam chowder and chicken tortilla soup when they have them. Oh, and I think they make better Cappuccino than the Starbucks next door. If you don’t have enough time enjoying your lunch there — order online. They’ll send you a message when your order is ready to pickup and you get a free lunch after twelve online orders.

A comfortable and welcoming bakery and café. Haven’t tried any sandwiches yet, but I tried a few of their pastries, and all were very yummy. I like that the café is very spacious and a lot of seating area where you can take a little time to sit and relax and enjoy a delicious pastry.

So annoyed! Ordered a turkey pesto to go. Walked back to the office, excited to eat my sandwich and there’s no turkey in it!!! They truly made sure it had plenty of spinach though. Argh! Don’t think I’ll be back. Sadness.

Specialty’s is one of the few places where you can get a decent vegetarian sandwich. It’s stacked with mushrooms, avocado, three types of peppers, sprouts & whole grain dijon. It’s their token vegetarian option, I believe it is simply called the vegetarian sandwich but it’s excellent.

A great place to get a good quality sammich. Food always tastes fresh and there’s a great selection. Bread is so dang good too! I like ordering at the kiosk though it takes a little getting used to. I don’t know if I would call working in the same building a blessing or a curse. The food is always amazing, I love their pastries, salads and sandwiches. And the service is always spot on. I usually order online, then just run down and pick it up, so quick easy and simple. I haven’t had any issues with the service.

Where has goat cheese been in my life? Had the spinach, berry, goat cheese small salad. Along with it came a little piece of rosemary bread(I think). I had the raspberry walnut vinaigrette. They gave me the option of having the dressing in the salad or on the side. I thought it was a very nice gesture! The goat cheese was incredibly creamy and melted into soft little pats of tart explosion all over my tongue. What a cheese! The spinach was obviously very fresh — loved it. There were little pieces of candied walnuts hidden underneath the mound of soggy strawberries and goat cheese; delectable. The side bread was soft and well flavored. It complemented the salad very well! The vinaigrette was a little acidic, but still very sweet. I may have made the wrong choice in having a berry-berry combination because the salad was sweeter than would be considered healthy, but still good for the swet salad lover! $ 8.75 total. Pricey for a small thing with very basic ingredients; spinach, strawberries, goat cheese. And the tables were quite dirty when I went. Good amount of space for a meeting with several people, but not someplace I would frequent(if not forced by the limited dining options). Sigh. The goat cheese is so good.

I’m fortunate enough to work in the same building as this Specialty’s location. It is really convenient to grab lunch and go, especially when you can order and pay online. I usually save my «favorites» and re-order, and my food is waiting downstairs for me on a cabinet. I don’t even have to interact with anyone! YESSSSSSSSSSS(anti-socials unite)! In addition to the many other conveniences, I love that I can customize my order. I’m a picky eater and often have anxiety about it. So, I love that I can see the sandwich/salad and build(or delete) from scratch. Takes the pressure off having a laundry list of «no this, no that». Plus, you can view which soups are available that day and plan accordingly. The cookies are AMAZING!!! I’m pretty sure they are ~500 calories apiece, but they are delightful. Such a good(and naughty) afternoon snack. AND!!! They have a feature that allows you to see where the«freshest» cookies are at that moment! *mind blown*

Hands down 100 times better then the Specialty’s in Bellevue Square Mall, the Bellevue City Center Specialty’s makes a wonderful(and often healthy) lunch for the community of Bellevue. Coffee drinks are wonderful, lunch items are made fast and fresh and the staff is friendly and quick. The prices are high, to the point of almost being excessive; however, for the quality and competition in the area, the price is acceptable.
