The baguette sandwiches are insanely good. Fresh and the bread is beyond perfection. I dream of them. And everything else is delicious. Cheap, unpretentious and amazing. Hidden gem at the mall.

This place is soooooo good! Our office has a delivery system called Peach Delivery and when this came up on the menu I was so excited to try it! The ham baguette sandwich is so fresh and delicious! I will be visiting this place in person soon! Thank you! :)

Came here to try the byreks! I was torn between getting the spinach parsley one or the three cheese one. I opted for the spinach one. It was so cold outside because I went at night around 9pm. The nice guy working was talking to me as he heated up my byrek. Really sweet man! About the byrek, the outer crust was pretty crispy even though it was late night and it was probably sitting out most of the day. The spinach tasted like canned spinach and was a bit sour tasting(but I’m pretty sure that is how it’s supposed to taste. think dolmades). But I am not a big fan of sour food items. Plus, the inner crust area was a but soggy. I was the spinach to cheese ratio was a bit more even, there’s a lot of spinach imo. But I LOVE cheese, so I think next time I’ll get the three cheese byrek and change my review! haha But until then, I’ll be back when I’m back!

Never before have I had a turkey sandwich so expertly crafted. The baguette was perfectly toasted, the herb-roasted turkey was delicious, and the garnishes, which included wild arugula, red onions, tomatoes, and pickles topped it off nicely. The ham sandwich was equally as good, and included an apricot jam, which I found very interesting and went surprisingly well with the ham. The girl working at the time made sure that I had everything I needed. Service was exceptional! I also had a chance to try the byreks which were delicious, but can sometimes be cold if they don’t heat them up enough. The yogurt dipping sauce is to die for! Perka app stamps(if they still use them) are an added bonus.

Wonderfully fresh Byrek, love the potato and onion one, and the fresh orange juice. The potato and onion is quite a favorite if you prefer a vegetarian option.

We had the beef, onion, and tomato byrek and the ham sandwich on the baguette. They were perfect for a chilly fall evening at the mall. The byrek was fresh, warm, and rich, and the sandwich was fresh and flavorful. Next time, I’ll probably get two byreks. It was so good!

I love the bread here. It is so good. The sandwiches are really good because they use fresh ingredients. The bread is soft, not hard. The salad is also darn good. I like the speed of the service. However, the lines are always long and there’s only one person taking care of the customers at any time. I do like that they treat their customers good.

Just amazing, I work close by and I’ve only been here a few times and made up my own sandwich and the girl already knows my order by heart. I need a stamp card or something. I’m needy and they got it down! The slices of meat on the sandwiches are thick and the toppings are fresh. The byreks are warm and toasty and the dipping sauce is awesome.

This review is only for the cookie balls they have. Came by to grab something sweet, didnt really want a byrek so we just got a few cookie balls. Options were pretty scarce, so we got the last few nutella cookie ball and apricot cookie ball. Quite dry, not much of any filling, just felt like eating dough that has been rolled in sugar. Definitely wont be getting those again. If in the area, may have to try the byrek to give them another shot. This spot is just a walk up counter near the Macy’s entrance/exit off Bellevue Way, near D’ambrosio Gelato, Red Robin and I think Cheesecake Factory.

It’s a nice, little store at the Macy’s entrance on Bellevue Way. I went there on a Sunday afternoon with some excitement mainly due to the previous reviews on Unilocal but was disappointed. Although the lady at the counter was sweet and dealt patiently. Maybe it’s my lack of knowledge of the Mediterranean food or because I have had similar stuff in other cuisines(read Piroshkis), I found the Byrek dull. I ordered two Byreks, one with potato and onions, and another with spinach and feta. They were pre-made so were just microwaved and served. Overall nothing extra-ordinary in the dish, in fact it had excessive oil and lacked any flavors whatsoever, specially the potato one. We didn’t had breakfast earlier in the morning so we anyways finished those, but on a regular day I’d probably had trashed half of it. They served fresh orange juice, which was well fresh, so a good thing. 1 star for the service, 1 star for the fresh juice, and 1 for the fresh yogurt dip.

Grabbed one of two sandwiches available on the menu — a delicious one w/ham, mascarpone, apricot jam and arugula on a fresh baguette roll. It was fresh and ready in ~5 minutes and worth the wait. The mascarpone and apricot jam made a magically delicious combo, and I’ll be attempting to recreate that at home in the near future. The shop is a casual one where you walk-up to order, but there are a few tables outside where you can sit to eat your food. The menu has a small selection(about 5) of byreks which are pastries that have layers of flaky dough filled with meat and/or veggies and two types of sandwiches. There’s also a coffee menu and various soft drinks. Good for a quick, casual lunch!

We got the Three Cheese Byrek and the Apple Cinnamon. I thought it was quite enjoyable and tasty. Overall the Byreks were tastier than any Piroshki that I have had. The garlic fries were nice and garlicy, and came with a home made aoli sauce. Would recommend.

Scrolling through the list of places for lunch in downtown Bellevue, I spotted this place. At first I thought it was yet another one of those Fancy + Shmancy hipster names that lately seem to be dominating the restaurant naming scene, so I scrolled past. However, baguette wasn’t fancy enough, so I scrolled back. And I’m glad I did. Service is very quick and friendly. The food is tasty — I had the leek one, and the beef/onion/tomato. Both good, but the beef one gets the nod. They are served up with some yoghurt(tastes a bit like sour cream, actually). Whatever, it works. Do not skip it. Two byrek were more than enough for me for lunch, and I can generally put away a fair bit of food. I’ll definitely be back.

FOOD — 4⁄5. what else do I say, besides that its delicious? I ordered a spinach byrek, and decided on anothee potato byrek. They were both goooooood. Im not a fan of yogurt, but these beauties dipped in their home-made yogurt had me asking for more! Why 4 for food? Cos I’ve never tried byrek elsewhere. So who knows if there’s a 5 star somewhere else? Hahaha SERVICE — 5⁄5. The owner is very smiley and service was excellent! :) I decided on eating by one of the two tables set up. She gladly prepared the table for me and made sure I had all I need. Came out and chatted with me abit and told me that the food served are all fresh, no preservatives, etc, which is great news. Then finally thank me for stopping by. She’s as awesome as her food. :)

This is a teeny tiny place right at the entrance of Bellevue Mall, that makes a impressive good food! I stopped there on my way to the doctor and ordered two byreks: one filled with cheese and one filled with leek that was just coming from the oven, and OMG, their byrek is so delicious. They arranges the two byreks in a cute box and added two sides of yogurt. That is definitely a place where I;m coming back soon!

I came here with my friend visiting from LA because I have wanted to try the byrek for sometime. All the reviews seemed to positive and I am always up for trying a new food item. The lady working the registry was quite friendly. She explained that byrek is a new thing here but it has been popular in many Eastern European countries. So we ordered two byrek: Fresh Spinach, green onions, and ricotta cheese AND Beef, onion, and tomato. The lady gave us homemade yogurt with them. I thought the fresh spinach was very pleasant and dipping it in yogurt reminded me of other Mediterranean dishes that I have had. The beef, onion, and tomato was AMAZING. The flavors were very rich, savory, and pleasant. My friend was starving before we went but she was quite satisfied afterwards. The only thing that was lacking was that the inside didn’t get warmed after even after being warmed up in the oven. We thought that if the inside were hot as well, the byrek would have been really great. So I would recommend making sure that the byreks are heated all the through. We weren’t sure if putting the byrek in the oven longer would have burnt them. Perhaps the owner can consider under-baking them a bit? Also we went back to buy a bottle of water only seeing that they don’t sell them. I would suggest adding bottle water to the beverage selections if possible. Otherwise, this place is awesome! Thank you for introducing byrek to Bellevue. I can’t wait to go back and try some more.

So delicious! I dragged my boyfriend here based on the Unilocal reviews. I got a meat and red onion Byrek and got the feta and spinach. The ladies running the stand were very helpful. Definitely get some sour cream, it’s a nice addition to the filling inside. the stand is a little hard to find and it’s not on the mall map kiosk. It’s located outside of Macy’s between the Cheesecake Factory and Red Robbins where the old hotdog stand used to be.

Excellent! They make all the food onsite and I’m happy to report the byrek is delicious. I got a savory one and it came with a homemade yogurt sauce. They also make hot chocolate with, wait for it, real live chocolate! For home made snacks and drinks I’d say they are reasonably priced. The have a couple cute tables out front. This is the perfect after work, or between shopping snack place. Also the ladies who work there are super nice! Try this place now before Microsoft discovers it and the lines get long.

This is one of those places where you try the food and it doesn’t taste the way you think… THEFOOD… it tastes so much better. I’ve been here about 9 times so far and the Beef Byrek is my favorite, its like a Warm Meat Croissant that melts in your mouth. You get this little cup of yogurt dipping sauce that comes with it. The owners are this little Albanian family that makes food that is just so tasty and they’re friendly and it’s handmade right in front of you. If you live in Bellevue or in the metropolitan area try and support a little small family businesses like this!!! I also found out they have a growing catering business through the app Peached.
