Chico’s

I was shopping with a baby in a buggy today. Chicos had some kind to contest/​game going on. The cashier was literally shouting out names for a longtime. So long I had to leave so as not to wake my baby. Presented an atmosphere that was negative and unwelcoming. But found some great clothes in other stores.

I was struggling to find an outfit to wear to my daughters wedding. I’ve gained a few pounds and I was getting quite frustrated. Skye and Angie were super helpful and I walked out with a figure flattering outfit and a few extra pieces for work. The prices are quite reasonable and they have really comfortable, easy care clothes. The sales people are always helpful and friendly. They are a great team and it’s always a pleasure to shop there.

I got excellent service at this location and was happy to purchase here. I’m not a fan of the jewelry but their camisole/​tank tops are high quality little treasures that I’m glad to have found here as those are workhorses in my wardrobe!

Great place to shop and the staff is very helpful. You can even schedule to have someone come in early or stay late to fit your schedule. I love Chico’s and Beverly is my favorite sales person.

Every time I go into this Chico’s, I feel accosted by the staff. Today, I had no less than 6 employees ask me if I needed help or if they could start a dressing room for me. I was in the store for about 15 minutes! When the cashier asked me who helped me today, I said that every single employee in the store did. I went on to say that it’s a bit overbearing and annoying. Rather than empathizing with a customer, she simply replied that corporate makes them be friendly to customers. I said that I wouldn’t call what I experienced friendly. She was unimpressed. And, trust me, I was unimpressed with her.
I don’t want to feel rushed in a store and I certainly don’t want to feel like they are viewing me simply as a potential sale and not as a valued customer. I do like some of the clothes and jewelry, but I think I’ll do my shopping online from now on. Or, not at all.
The Bellevue Chico’s has a lot to learn about being friendly and truly servicing customers. More sales will come if they back off of customers and let them shop in peace.

I can’t take all of the ill-​fitting polyester, over-​priced jewelry, supposed non-​wrinkling garments, and overly-​made-​up old women to even go in with my mom while she makes a return here.
Trying to get my still young mom to stop shopping where HER mom, my grandmother is still shopping is like trying to get Amy Winehouse off crack.
Whoa. Sales lady, if you call me «honey» one more time, I swear to God…
