My insurance company sent me a text at 5pm, saying that Martin’s Towing would arrive at 6pm. At 6, I called Martin’s directly, to get an update of when they would arrive. The dispatch guy said that they were running about thirty minutes behind. He assured me that the driver would give me a call when they were on their way. Sure, stuff happens. I get it. At 7pm, after no word, I called again. No answer. Since it had been over two hours, I called my insurance company back… they called Martin’s(oh look, they answered the phone for THEM) and said that the guy was«fifteen minutes away» and I would be getting a call shortly. This time I get a text from the towing company that included a neat little GPS tracker which included my driver’s name, number, and location status. Another hour passes. Nothing. I noticed that the tracking link showed no activity. I called the towing company and surprise surprise, they didn’t answer. Tried calling the number listed for my driver. He ignored me too. By this time it had been over THREEHOURS that I’d been waiting for someone to get my car, and I was aggravated. I called my insurance company AGAIN to try to get a different company assigned to me. Long story short(I know… too late, right?) Martin’s finally picked up my car at 8:40. The worst part of all this wasn’t even the fact that it took nearly FOURHOURS to get my car… it was their blatant disregard for their customers when they repeatedly ignored my phone calls and the fact that they lied about their whereabouts on more than one occasion. The only reviews I was able to find were on and, not surprisingly, they are ALL one star reviews.
