Moore Home Inspection Services

I wouldn’t recommend this inspector. I had him inspect my house and he seemed much more concerned in making it to his next appointment than completing a thorough inspection. He didn’t even want to go up on the roof until I emphasized how important it was to me that he closely inspect the roof condition. Prior to that he just looked at the second-​story roof from the lawn and said ‘It looks fine’. I must say some things were thoroughly inspected and he did provide valuable information regarding code compliance but then when he had to leave he started breezing through the remaining items. A very detailed (but generic) pdf file was provided the day after which contained alot of content, but not much helpful information. The document avoided saying what items needed to be replaced and which were good by saying multiple times: «It is recommended to consult with a qualified professional’. While this statement may be useful in protecting Moore from lawsuits, it does me no good as a homeowner considering the fact that I was hoping to have hired a ‘qualified professional’ for this inspection. If Moore does not consider himself qualified to determine an status of items during an inspection, as he implies in his reports, I would recommend looking elsewhere for better qualified inspectors.

After recently falling in love with a new home and getting it under contract, we called Moore Home Inspection for a little reassurance that we were making a good investment. We were, after all, first time home buyers.
The Moore Home Inspection team was at the house, right on time. We found that they were super friendly, professional, and informative… since we were doing this for the first time they were very understanding and patient with our questions.
We were floored when Mr. Moore came out to the house in person during the inspection. That’s the personal touch that made us feel great about our choice of home inspectors. After the inspection, we quickly received a DETAILED report of the findings (including digital pictures within the report with arrows pointing to «problem» ares in the home) as well as some very helpful «new home owner» tips for moving in and keeping a new home maintenanced. We were thrilled with the level of service we received… call Mr. Moore and his team, you won’t be disappointed!
