Toms Burgers

Read the reviews and stopped off to try the steak sandwich combo. Meh, was not good. Steak was rubbery with lots of mayo. Fries had some sprinkled seasoning that wasn’t that good either. This is a less than average run of the mill burger spot. If you’re looking for something different or good in the area, my advice is to try some place else.

We just moved to the area and had our eye on this place for a bit. I’m not a big fan of chili cheese fries, but the ones here are delicious. The bacon and avocado burger is pretty yummy as well.

This place has been here for 15+ years and they still have good food everyday. The have a good range of menu items and I never get the same thing twice. I chowed down on a steak sandwich. Man, that was good. Especially the fried jalapeño it comes with. Been coming here for a while now and don’t think I’ll stop.

Good tasting food, great atmosphere and customer service. Price is just right. 4*** because there is always room for improvement, like having fresh ketchup, there has been times where I need to switch bottles because the one at my table had a sour taste to it.

Describing Toms burger in a word would be: Epicness. Toms burger at this location has been here for years and the quality, portion sizes and friendly service has not changed.
I’ve been eating at this location for years and I’ve never written a review on this hidden gem of a restaurant, I apologize.
Food:
I’ve always been skeptical of locations that have a wide variety of food choices because the quality suffers, but Toms burgers does not disappoint.
I’ve tried a variety of their food: Carne Asada plate, crispy taco (my favorite), beef hamburger, chicken burger (new favorite), and the list goes on. Each and every item is tasteful, juicy, and a great eating experience.
I rate all the food plates I’ve tried a 5 out of 5.
Service/​Staff:
Since I’ve been coming here for years, I’ve became a regular and very personable with the staff. However, despite my «ties» I’ve never seen a negative gesture towards a customer and they are always attentive towards the customer.

Overall:
I can write a book for all Unilocalers, but I will say overall the food is great for the price and not disappointing. Food has always been fresh and made to order. This isn’t like a Burger King or Mc Donald’s for average or horrendous food (my opinion) where the food is pre heated or reheated.

This place has extremely tasteful french toast which can not be said of most breakfast joints like this. Although I am deducting one star because I ordered two lenguas and two other tacos but got two stringy dried meats replacing the juicy fatty meats that is lengua. Anyways pretty good steak plate too.

Great Mexican/​Burger joint! My husband and I ate here for the first time today and were pretty impressed.
The restaurant is very clean and colorful. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Yes, you have to pay for refills on drinks, but hey, I can’t blame them.
The taquito/​enchilada plate that I ordered came with an ample helping of rice, beans, and a whole grilled jalapeño and green onion. Very nice presentation for a fast food joint!
My husband ordered the all meat carne asada burrito. It was pretty good sized and the meat was tender and flavorful.
We also ordered chili cheese fries to try. They were salty, gooey, crunchy, and everything you would expect them to be.
If you want a chuckle, look for the following items on the menu — Steack Picadillo plate (yes STEACK not STEAK) and also Chi fries with optional Che. Made me giggle and added to the charm of this cute little spot.
They also have a fresh salsa bar that is indeed FRESH. I can’t stand messy salsa bars that seem to have salsa displayed from the week before. This isn’t the case here, it’s fresh and tasty.
It’s hard to find good eats in the area so we will definitely add this to our lunch repertoire.

As a kid this was the place to eat before they opened the Jack In the Box down the street ;(. Back in the early 21 century the food was splendid and the prices were incredible. But after that chain came to the block, the prices hiked up, dressing and refills took the most damage, things i took for granted were no longer free ;(.
Hadn’t stepped foot in here since somewhere like 05, and i curious and hungry. To my surprise nothing had changed (in a good way of course). Food still amazing atmosphere is still warm and comforting, despite the few items that suffered from inflation all is as I remember. Highly recommended if your in the mood for good food servered fast.

The food here was actually good, seeing there menu was a downer… Because its picture menus and the food presentation was not good, however when we got the food it was nice and flavors were good. I ordered as chille reyeno burrito, and a cheese enchilada a la carte, the sauce on the enchilada was probably I’ve of the best I’ve had because I’m always picky about that, … This place is good and I will b back … Oh and its kinda grossssss that they have (on the windows) painted women wirh huggge breasts serving breakfast… Lol but the food is good

This spot is just good. In the area I live in these types of restaurants are very common, so to weed threw the ones that have decent products is hard…
This place has ok prices, i’d lower them a bit… or allow free refills. Refills cost 55 cents. You can dine in and they have TVs. I get my car fixed near by and also bowl at del rio often so it’s an ok place to go to when you’re waiting.
I’d go back, just because it’s not half bad… i’ve had have bad… it’s not fun.
Plus they have an A.
